Thank you for this video. I would like to know where you get the Yellow circle that is around your cursor? I do presentations and need people to be able to see where I am pointing.
Great video, can you please tell me, is there a method I can use to move emails from a specific sender to a label of my choice? I have a Label called General, however emails I received from a specific person I want to move to their own Label which I have created. There are years of emails from this person so doing this one by one would be very labor intensive. Thanks for any advice you can offer. Much appreciated..!
Yes, you can certainly do this. You will need to create a Filter. And on the final step, check the option to apply it to all existing emails. This video can show you how to do so: th-cam.com/video/S9Uhr7RhyiM/w-d-xo.html
Unfortunately, Gmail doesn't offer a direct way to sort emails within the main inbox view based on labels. However, you can achieve something similar with the Multiple Inbox view: www.simpletivity.com/blog/how-to-organize-gmail-with-multiple-inboxes-tutorial
You can search for these emails and then select the Trash icon. This will send them to the Trash Bin where you can manually delete them or wait 30 days until they will automatically be deleted.
I got 7:28 into this and quit. He has yet to discuss the most important topic- how does one get email addresses into a label. Shouldn't that be the first topic> If one can't do that, all the little tricks he discusses don't matter.😡
On Google you can speed up the video or slow it down. I watched the video at increased speed. But set the speed that works best for you and it helps a lot. Doesn't matter how fast you go as long as you are trying to learn. Good luck! :D
Want to automatically add labels to certain messages? Then check out this Gmail filter lesson next: th-cam.com/video/S9Uhr7RhyiM/w-d-xo.html

@@Simpletivity Thank you very much!!
You're most welcome!
@@Simpletivity This was helpful. But does it also work for future emails from this sender?
Great Video @simpletivity. Is it possible to email everyone inside these labels, rather than making them as a contact?
Sorry, I'm not aware of a way to do that from labels.
@@Simpletivity No problem - cheers!
Any way to automatically label a mail on opening it?
Using filters
label:unread is a hidden label
Good tutorial, how can I add several emails to one label?
Great question. Just use the checkboxes to select the emails you want, and then add the label by selecting the Labels icon at the top of the screen.
Can you tell us how to sort labelled emails in the main page. For example all the labelled "urgent" first, then all the labelled " to follow up" etc

wait how did you get there mine doesn't look like that what
My draft is showing count in the right side but my labels are not. How to set to show the count
The count beside the labels only refers to the number of unread messages. If all messages have been read, no number will be displayed.
my lable message dont openin gmail please
1:16 create a label
How do I delete old emails that I saved
You can search for these emails and then select the Trash icon. This will send them to the Trash Bin where you can manually delete them or wait 30 days until they will automatically be deleted.

This does not tell me how to get my groups with contacts into my regular email list.
Is it free
Yes, you can use Gmail and labels for free.
It was hard to follow you because you talk way too fast for me.
