From a 3D printing nerd, that looks the same as the "resin" used in resin printers, it is non-toxic "bio-based" substance derived from corn. It has different properties than craft or nail resin, but it's a fraction of the price. If your looking for cheaper, safer resin, take a peek at 3D printing supplies, you might want to try it!😁
I don't know if that's it, it may be that although I don't know of that needs curing or it's just called resin because it looks similar because it's transparent and all that.
But I just found out you can make your own bioplastic with cornstarch and put it into molds, you leave to dry and apparently it's faster if you leave it inside the freezer because you boil it to create the plastic mix.
Maybe Jackie should try that.

I kind of want to see you use the dragon mold with your normal resin. It feels like it’s been a long time since I saw you do a resin video, maybe the Disney Villain box from S+F?

It seems like the “mystery liquid” is acting a lot like gel polish. I do my own gel nails and after you use the UV or LED light to harden in most of them leaves a sticky layer that you can wipe off after the last layer is done.

This reminds me of polygel that is used to create faux nails. That substance you have to harden it with uv light as well. If so, you can use rubbing alcohol on a brush to move it around.

I completely agree. And polygel usually leaves an inhibition layer, similar to shellac polish, which makes it feel tacky after it is cured. I bet if she wiped it down with isopropyl alcohol, it wouldn’t have been sticky.

The “gel” could possibly be Pollygel which is similar to acrylic that you use for nails except it’s more bendy, comes in tubes, and a lot of the time you have to take rubbing alcohol to get rid of the stickiness !

I really believe that the"resin" stuff is a gel that is usually used for nails on your hand. It is u.v. and l.e.d. activated. Rubbing alcohol on it will get rid of the sticky feeling.
We have a 3D pen and we love it. We had some complications at first, but we got through it and now enjoy every minute of using it. I say the only real complaint is getting ahold of filament at good prices. We got a silicon mat with indentations for lines, circles, and few other shapes, such as a Christmas tree and a plane.
Am I the only one, that after watching Jackie, has to yell "In da trash!" whenever they throw something away?

The problem is that, even when Canary Islands is Spain, therefore europe union, 80% of amazon people consider these islands as "not even europe" because they have to pay extra customs or something like that. It's not 100% of the products, but maybe 18 of 20 sellers don't sell to Canary (again, amazon doesn't fully support the islands because it's ultraperisphere region, and sellers don't want to pay customs of Spain + special customs/fee that the islands have). And those 2 products that they DO send to you, aren't 1. What you need 2. 50€ just for sending it to you when you are just trying to buy a 2€ thing

I love using 3-D pens! We have 2 at work that we bring out during S.T.E.A.M Day. (I work at the most fun Library ever). It's a favorite with the kids too. We have several kits to make glasses, tiaras, character masks, plus blank stencils for free designs. They're so much fun!
It’s like nail gel for nail extensions. You should try this mould with them and compare them 😄

It's nail art gel. It has a sticky layer that can't cure when exposed to air. Just use alcohol to wipe off the sticky layer

I worked in a toy store over Christmas, and those "really special kind" of battery the little light stand takes is LR44, which are surprisingly common in a lot of toys. The till told me when the toys needed them, and I had to constantly ask people if they needed them because no one knew what they were.

It seems like gel for fake nails. Looks similar and Cures under light, sticky. Rub it with alcohol, and the stick should go away.

This is not resin indeed but nailgel,i have a nailchannel and for me that looks a lot to buildergel in a botle,so yeah...not save for kids i am afraid...but it is beauteful 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻whipe it with alcohol to remove the sticky layer👍

When they do gel nails, it is basically a one part resin that stays gel until you cure it with the light. Some gel and gel polishes have a sticky layer that is removed with a gel residue whip off solution.
I totally ordered Bokksu because you recommended it and I was looking for something fun to do! It’s so much fun and super tasty! Even my hubby has been enjoying it!

Tbh this is totally behaving like gel nail polish, it's flexible and not hard when it's cured, it has the tacky inhibition layer (goes away with alcohol) and it takes way longer to cure with crappy low watt LEDs and is faster with higher better quality leds

Omg it’s EXACTLY like polygel! It’s a new “fake” nail gel you put on your nails and cure with a UV light. It’s super sticky & youre supposed to use a brush dipped in isopropyl alcohol to move it around :)
