I have a little battery operated facial hair shaver - it's very easy, and does a wonderful job of getting rid of excess/long hairy bits! Makeup goes on so much better, which is another plus! I remember visiting an older lady in a nursing home a few years ago, and sadly, she had many long dark hairs growing from her chin. She had always been meticulous about how she looked, and it made me so sad to think that nobody cared enough to remove these for her. I would have, had I had any tweezers. I have a list of instructions for my son, should I become unable to care for myself easily, and #1 on the list is to make sure I don't have any hairs on my chin! Vain - maybe, but it's such a little thing. Enjoy your movie!
Fiona, I would like to see your To Do list for your son! I have a mental list for my 3sons and must put it on paper. When the time comes, I think they will just laugh at my list😘

15 years ago a plastic surgeon told me to shave my face every day - it exfoliates and removes the very fine hairs that keep foundation and makeup from looking smooth. As far as eyebrows are concerned I haven't lost mine - they've just moved down to my eyelids.

I'm with you Tricia on the x10 magnifying mirror. Enables you to spot those sneaky chin hairs before they suddenly become so long you could plait them!

Tricia, first time viewer. I have been using powder on my lash line for years, so much softer than eyeliner. I have never been able to get a good close line with eyeliner and the powder was much easier. Never thought to use a cotton disk for 'fallout', thank you for the tip! Might help with the mascara slips too. I'll be back for tea in the future.

Tricia, Thanks so much for your makeup made easy info. Have been afraid of it all my life, with my very fair skin and red hair, but now transitioning naturally to I hope a silvery white, am eager to start adorning my face!

You used to be able to get glasses which allowed you to lift one side to work on your eyes, flip it down and then do the other side. Not sure if they are still around
This is a great idea but I have to admit I haven't seen them in my opticians. Maybe this is something we should look into. T x
