You can’t even control the interior temperature from the app. You have to “leave the car on the settings you want for the next start up” hahahhaaaa it’s horrible. Then sends annoying texts and emails after EVERY STRAT and NO way to turn that off!!!

Followed your instructions to the letter however it still doesn't display messages. The envelope is clickable but no messages are displayed. Running an iphone 7.
Rola Motors Mercedes-Benz ....I was expecting only new messages to be shown rather than old ones but after setting it up and going for a drive for 30 mins I had received two new messages in my phone but the car still said no messages. It gave an option to download messages, I tried that and it still said no messages. It's a comand system on a 2017 C Class.
iPhone is complicated. Due to their strict privacy policy, the car may not be able to extract the data to their policy. Android for example displays email as well, where iPhone simply refuses. We did to this demonstration with an older iPhone, and as reiterated, only SMS messages can be displayed. If it is not working after all the instructions have been followed, it could be that iPhone hasn't allowed the new 7 this functionality.

I have the red triangle pop up when someone pulls into my lane and it's a bit close but never had the nerve to try to see if it will auto brake if I do nothing.
Racelinekarting where are you from Sir? If you go into your cluster, settings, assistance, and it says, "Collision Prevention Assist Plus", you have the system. Please however do not attempt to activate it.

Ed Chel Hello. This isn't possible. Only Apple CarPlay will allow certain apps to work. This however is not available on the V-Class.

Go into media on command and inside the menu to the bottom left it will say Bluetooth devices and activate your device there and it will play.

Hello. The messages will appear as they they are received. As soon as a text message is sent to your phone, it should appear automatically.
