I've tried changing the logo on my mercerdes amg a class automatic W176, and once I get into the engineering mode, then settings there is not an enable or disable button to go any further with this. Do you have any ideas

Thanks but these combinations don't work on my E220 2016. I can confirm my infotainment system is Comand Aps Ntg5/5.5 shown on the data card.
Neither with Endcall+1+# nor with Endcall+3+*

Do a factory reset on the settings, worked for me.
Thanks but my head unit was locked. Some NTG5s1 models are locked. First, I unlocked it via Vediamo, then I was able to change the welcome logo.

I had this and then I took my car in for maintenance and I can’t do it anymore does anyone know how to change it back? When I press the buttons to put it in engineering mode it just makes a sound now
try resetting it, it worked for me

Am probably not doing it right then I did hold down them buttons down though for 5secs and then again for 10 about three times nothing come up. Mine is the exact model and year as yours as well 😢

Feriy, from what I understand it requires SCN coding. So just trying to activate it on these menus will not be enough. Mercedes have the STAR/Xentry software that does specific programming of all the modules.
@@xdeal88 yes, I guess so. Only thing I can do is change the AMG logo,. When I put the mirror Link to "on" , it will jump to off when I reboot the system. However, tks for sharing this guide. GLA220 2016 changed the AMG LOGO by using your way.

Hi if you have an eco button click the eco button and start stop will stop with it, or if you have the Start stop A click this and it will turn off, once you put your car into eco or if you own an AMG comfort start stop will activate click one of these buttons and it will turn off
Wavy Shaunz, the question Luis is asking for is to stop eco start/stop without clicking on the eco button. In my video, if you watch it all the way, I showed an option within the Engineering Menu that seem to allow an option to shutoff EC stop/start without using the button every time to switch it off. But that feature in the Engineering Menu does not allow permanent shutoff.

the option start stop in Engineering on Page 2 is NOT to disable the start-stop but the OPTION in the Menus. When you disable it you won't be able to turn on or off start stop in the settings on vehicle settings screen

Only the 2014 came with the old radio and steering wheel. The 2015+ is so modable like downloading CarPlay and back up camera beeps but 2014 is limited
What about screen type 3 and 4?
There are quite a few settings on these screens including the CarPlay and Android Auto.

I had this issue and during a service Mercedes said its the voltage of the battery! You might need to replace you battery!
Start stop only works with specific type of battery which supports this function, it also cost more than normal battery

You need to reset the system. Worked for me after i did a reset

You go back to the engineering menu (7:45) without pressing the phone, 1 and # sign? for sure with an OBD because the first time youdon't show your screen...
casca600rr , no idea what you mean. There are no OBD gadget used here. I am not the first person doing this. You obviously don’t know what you are talking about. Anyone who knows about Mercedes knows about the Engineering Mode and Dealer Mode and how to get into these menus. Some Mercedes somehow can’t use the combination keys, but I have seen many use this and it works.
At 7:45, I edited a small part of the video out. It’s just getting back into the same screen by doing the same phone+1+#. This is the only way to get into the Engineering Mode. If you see 10:26, I used the same combination of buttons to get into the Engineering Mode.
