- Storyteller Part 2 - everyone loves a story where the bad guy wins in comical fashion. This game's got a lot of stories like that, it's pure comedy. The game has a short stay, but let's enjoy it while it's here.

@Robert Palladino It's called conversational deletion! It's a cool feature of English where certain unnecessary words (eg. I, did, are, etc) are dropped from the beginning of a sentence. The listener uses context to determine what the speaker means.

This game is so awesome AND funny at the same time. The developers really thought of everything, and there's strong internal logic!
I've got to agree! Kind of reminds me of other games that Tyler has played in which you have to figure out the rules (like Understand) but this does it a lot better by being about stories we can immediately understand.
I just wish the game was longer, bought it after saw part 1 and beat it in like.. the same day.. plus there was stuff in the demo that wasn't in the final game (sadly)

10:50 I think the tragedy you missed is the execution of the knight. The difference here is that the queen and knight are married, so the death of the knight would count as a tragedy, unlike the other scenario.
“Just kidnapped the queen, time to marry her royal squire.”
The Four Tragedies took me forever. The only puzzle that I found truly difficult - some of them took some time to figure out, but the lack of feedback made it difficult to see what the game counted as a tragedy here.
I think it's difficult because the Knight dying only counts as a tragedy if he is the queens husband

Wouldn't it be nice if he played Outer Wilds? There is indeed a mistery to solve that requires observation and deduction skills only this channel has shown, it would be beautiful. It just seems so different than all the other games.
Yeah Outer Wild is a great game! I don't know if it would be Tyler's cup of tea though, with the adventure-exploration.
He played a little bit of it during Variety Shitshow 3. Then he played it in his own time and gave it a 10/10. He said he thought it was "truly special".

Edit: I should mention I beat it in like 3 hours. My brothers love it though, and they've added a good 10 hours to that playtime
I heard its not very good because of the length, may be best to refund it and just watch the lets play of it tbh.

@@diamondgirly2126 yeah i found that, i finished all the puzzles and all but 2 achievements in under 2 hours and got a refund processed. I loved Tyler's original video, loved the demo and the game is realy fun and charming but it's just far too short to feel good for the money :/

I love this game, I just wish it were a bit longer. I don't feel bad about paying $13 for it, it's well worth supporting. I just feel like it should be a bit longer, I got almost exactly 2 hours of playtime out of it, and it's not exactly a game with a lot of replay value.
I disagree you can always try and find more solutions to levels or make your own creative stories
@@timonobel615 I mean I completed all of their "alternate path" challenges and got the ending. And the more complex ones, especially the last chapter only have one solution besides just switching 1 interchangeable character. This is the kind of game that would REALLY benefit from user-generated content!
