I have a question. First this is a great video. I have followed it for changing my timing chain. However, now that I am in there and changing it, I noticed that one of the two cam shafts is out of time with the rest of the system. ALL OTHER GEARS are in time (this includes the gears for the secondary chain behind the timing chain you change in this video). Is it okay to take the cam cover off (like you do in the video) and adjust the cam shaft that needs to be repositioned? Will this put the whole system in "time"?
nvm! I figured it out. I need to move the camshaft slight and pin it in place so that the timing marks are 62 mm from the center part of the top guide.
Thanks for posting this. I'm prepping to do this now on my '13 CC Sport+, and using this as my guide. I noticed that you didn't change the the inner or oil pump chains & guides. Do they not fail like the primary (cam) chain/tensioner/guide, or was that part just not filmed? Thanks!
I need to replace the hydraulic lifters and rocker arms. Is it possible to remove the cams without opening the lower timing cover and back on without losing chain timing? If yes, how so?

Excellent video! Where is ghe garage location? I have a CC 2012 that requires same job. I am from Maryland.
How do you if the valves are bent or not? Good work.
You can do a cylinder leakage test that’ll tell you
