There's a bunch of haters out there, but half of them don't even know what to do with a drill. Let alone get out there and try to build something. You made it work with what you had. That's all we can do. Good job man.
You are not using treated wood at the bottom, it is going to start to roth in less than a year, also termites will eat it and go up to the mobile home through there.
Ive done thousands of mobile like homes. Tried every type on skirting. Gone back to metal buildings steel just pushed in to the ground. Dents scratches and rusts a little. But fire proof bug proof wead eater proof. Never cracked like cement board. No broken plastic from hail. Another thing to keep in mind is, on dirt. It's gong to settle. Maybe 3 inches and skirting is going to suffer.

How do you attach it to the home
What is the panels you are attaching to the framing
What are you using for the sheeting and how much did the whole job cost?
It is the cement fiber board. That way you can bury it in the ground.
That wood is going to rot. I'd dig down, pour a footer and set block.
It could if water gets to it.
I thought that, exactly.
If the boards are coated with new or used engine oil they won't rot.
@@72Dexter72Manley72 No one saw that comment Mr.epa agent at the csa. XD
@@72Dexter72Manley72 He's right but you should avoid getting caught doing that.
Ground contact treat wood might by 10 years. Best think no wood what so ever.
