Matt from the Carlisle showroom is always super helpful. I visit from time to time to check out the new products. Audrey helped me purchase my Ares 1.0 when I first bought that rack. Now awaiting 2.0. Great customer service overall
Ok it was pretty cool seeing their showroom. You're right how nice it would be to see and touch all the different products before you choose one to buy. I'm glad i watched this. 👍
Thanks! Kind of like Home Gym Con, I think it’s fun to try out equipment, pick up bars, see weights in person, etc. It’s tough to put into words or get on camera everything I’m experiencing, but I try my best to point out first impressions. I appreciate the view and comment!
Literally was just there! Was helpful to touch and feel things in persin but felt like they couldve had more options set up. I felt like everything was a black or white 93" pr5000. They didnt have any 24" depth racks AND they didnt have their new modular storage set up with any racks. Still glad i went since i got to try out the c2 bike and feel how heavy some of the benches were. Was dead set on the 5200 2.0 but will br going with the 4100.
IMO the single black diamond was less aggressive than Rogue OPB. I’d say the single black diamond is much better than a generic barbells knurling, but closer to an all around barbell’s knurling such as Reps Colorado Bar or Rogue’s Ohio Bar. From least to most passive I’d say: Rogue Ohio, Rep Colorado, Rep Single Black Diamond, Rogue Ohio Power Bar, Rep Double Black Diamond.
If REP offered a discount code, I would’ve supplied it. Some people use my affiliate links, because they enjoy the content I’ve made and they want to support the channel. I appreciate you watching and commenting.
@@vintageweightspgh lighter bench and it can also decline like the blackwing. Some blackwing owners have some wiggle in no gap seat even when fully tightened. Rep 5200 bench is the main bread and butter which is their most solid bench today in their line up.
Hope you had a great time visiting and checking everything out!
Thanks!

Great look in
Thank you, Brandon!

Good points. Thanks for watching.
I hope we get a showroom like this in europe soon
That would be cool! Any plans @repfitness ?
Been there twice. It's only 40 minutes from my house. I go there and york barbell.
Very cool!
Awesome tour! Their show room is a bit too far for me to just drop in, but maybe I’ll make it there someday.
Thanks, Joey! They’ll be back at HGC
@@vintageweightspgh it’s like a mini showroom with all my friends!
It would be a lot cooler if that bench was called the BatWing!
I think I just invented something!
How was the knurling of the single black diamond? Was it comparable to the OPB knurl?

"I make a commission, you pay the same price" 🤣🤣🤣 give us a discount code for the commission LMAO

im spec a gym at the moment the issue i have with Rep is that they dont have a belt squat similar to the rhino..
Hmmm. That’d be a cool addition to their lineup.
So what did you pick up there?
I actually didn’t bring anything home 😂. I’m interested in the double black diamond bar and the equalizer plates. The SSB as well.
@@vintageweightspgh love the equalizers
Do I see rust forming on the Clear coat rack? I know some people have this issue.
I didn’t notice any.
The new rep 5200 version 2.0 is better than the blackwing imo.
Why’s that? Not criticizing, just curious.

@MetalsForBrunch I have the batwing. I concur. There's a little wiggle in the seat
Okay
Yep
