Not gunna lie, I loved this song while I was in band, and I still love it now. But I dont think Ill ever get over the transition of "spooky season movies" to Spiderman.

Honestly I get it it at all either, especially when Danny elfman made literally one of the most iconic Batman theme??? Like the 1989 Batman theme would make way more sense in here than spiderman
The transition at 2:52 is so great. Just when you think it's over, you get plunged right back into the music!
I listened to this piece every day in 7th grade and memorized the flute parts and that transition actually made me hard.

We Played this, and it was so nice as a trombone player to actually have a good part of the melody (The Beetlejuice part). We got to play louder and it was so great! Not to mention the Bass Clarinet was fun to listen to in the Nightmare Before Christmas part.

Hudson Falls High School. Our Band was the best! I got to ppay timpani, the ratchet, temple blocks and the other fun noises. ❤😊

This is my favorite piece we played in my high school’s wind ensemble. I played tenor sax, and it was always fun. I’m now studying to be a music teacher in college and I would love to one say conduct this in a high school band.

Played this piece when I was in the 8th grade I remember so much and get a little happy when I hear any of the songs getting played by themselves. I remember it was hard for me when I played this I had to get all the solos in a high school level band class. I miss that band director.
I played this BOTH in 8th grade on clarinet and my sophomore year of high school on saxophone! And except for being completely jipped of the alto sax solo in high school, it never got old!

everytime we get to the beetlejuice section, our conductor takes out his trumpet to play with us and stops conducting and i just can NOT count there for some reason

I played this in middle school and had the piccolo solo at 1:07. Literally so much fun.
That end is awesome. It’s like you’re expecting it to end with all the triplety stuff, but no. You get shot into a final, dramatic and lively end for about 4 bars 😂 (5:01)

I play baritone (I have bassoon sheet music, because the previous baritone player took the music and never gave it back), and we’ve done this for my 8th grade year, and now we’re doing it again for my sophomore year.
Does anyone know the name of the ensemble in this recording?
I actually e-mailed Hal Leonard about who recorded this and they told me it was done by Hal Leonard's house musicians.
