I did the trombone solo on baritone and won outstanding soloist at a marching contest in high school. Some of my best memories 🥺🥺🥺

HAHA Oh man. This, Aztec Fire and a third song that I can't remember the name of at the moment are bringing back great memories of my first year of HS marching band in 8th grade. (hs band alone was too small)

I learned this when i was a Freshman in 1985 when i was playing the alto sax Very difficult when playing it in a marching band. Brings back fond memories. Now im trying to learn the piano version

we are doing this for our closer and it was good because we had a homegame and it sounded good for our first performance and our drum majors calculated it that we have spent over 200 hours practicing this and it had a great turn out and at 2:07 that part we do a park and whale and it was amazing and sounded so good

I remember playing this song, it was so fun to play, at least for drumline, well, except for practically running sideways to the front of the field , back of the field, then front again. And we played this at a faster tempo
The visiting marching band played this at my school's last home game and weirdly enough it was in the senior class's first contest show so they all started singing their parts and dancing

You play pep tunes in High School in the stands at football games because its easy. Its made to be easy, so that you can learn multiple of the same length songs in stands.

I loved this piece but we has a different arrangement it was still cool and the tuba part was harder than this version expect the drum break part it was watered down and brass didn't play that part.
