I own a turbo V8. I personally think it's the best sound in the world. Bad ass turbo whistle with that V8 rumble. Nothing screams "don't mess with me" like that sound does!
Lol @ track. Supras handle like boats, and with that much boost on a tiny little e36 it would be a death sentence on the track. WAAAAY to squirrly and unplanted, you could plainly see how hard it was to keep it on the road.
Bushings are little rubber bits in your car's suspension that allow some movement on various parts during cornering. Soft bushings will make the ride more comfortable for regular driving but will make the car more unstable and "jumpy" under heavy cornering. Firm bushings reduce movement and help the car stick to the road during cornering.
Just a word of advice, when a turbo makes a high pitch shriek all of the time off boost or at speeds when it shouldn't be boosting, its bearings are going out. One of my larger Garretts on my DSM had that high pitched shriek, which I though was awesome, until it failed. At which point, I learned that bearing failure is usually preluded by that sound. Suction noise is one thing, but not the constant shriek.
depends what you like. the "dying chihuahua" sound is called turbo flutter, and it will make your turbo wear faster. it won't destroy it though, and IMO it sounds cooler
That flutter noise is the lack of a blow off valve, so all the pressure gets released back into the turbo thus creating that noise. It's not a bad thing, there's just no where for all that pressure to go

Both good friends of mine from Denmark, I've stayed with lasse a few times when I've been to Denmark, he owns Japanerimports and both cars spent a short while in the UK with Jurgen from JM-imports the owner of the JunR1 GTR. The blue car is 800+ hp and the purple one is 750hp

The only similarities between the neon and the SRT4 is they both have a 4 banger engine, the 4 door body, same headlights & taillights, and the Dodge badge. After that, the difference is night and day.
@BoatsNHosGuy The same way any turbo works, except mounted in the rear. The only thing you might face is Turbo Lag. sometimes people don't use intercoolers because the air would already be drastically cooled, but for some, they still have intercoolers.
Technically this is true, yet we had an evo in at work which it was proven the bov gave an extra 3bhp. the conclusion is that diverting pressure away from the turbo allows it to spool up quicker.
Turbos and superchargers have similar layouts but not the same at all. Turbos are unlimited and superchargers are limited in power just for the record. Plus BOV's flutter it's the adjusting of the diaphragm in it. It's best to have no flutter with high boost.

All of these Cars have turbo Flutter, which causes damage on a longer perioid for your turbo, you can t even hear the real sound of the bov, actually you can hear the Turbo crying ;)

I've seen the full video. It's a twinturbocharged Saleen pushing 900+ hp, it's pretty insane.

I believe he's referring to the rear suspension bushings. Notice the amount of movement of the rear end/wheels relative to the body panels.
that's turbo surge. it's when the pressure isn't vented out of the system, so it comes back out the way it went in.
That's when the turbo let's out the pressure, it makes the car sound like it's backfiring.
Laugh at auto's, but they make some of the best drag cars out there.
