I first saw this lovely patterned granny square on instagram and jumped to your YT channel . It’s such a pretty pattern. I love the colour your using .. May I please ask what yarn & crotchet hook you are using. Thankyou kindly for sharing this easy to follow along tutorial. You explain everything so clearly.. 😊
I’m so happy this tutorial is helpful for you! The yarn is Stylecraft Special Aran in Sage and the hook is my favourite brand - Clover Amour 5.5mm. The yarn is ok, just a standard acrylic but I highly recommend the hooks. They are comfy to hold and glide through the yarn beautifully. Happy hooking 🥰
This is lovely, and thank you so much for making the written pattern free on Ravelry. I’m going to make one big square for a blanket, but think I’ll have to turn after each round. Do you have any advice, please? 😊
This is my new favorite granny square!
Great tutorial. Thank you.
Ooooh, nice 😊 Hope youre feeling well

Yes I always recommend turning when making big granny squares so that’s what I’d do! This would make a lovely blanket 😁
Thank you for the clarification. I’m still a bit of a beginner but trying to improve! Probably faster than I should be 😉
