Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 7,7 octaves (vocal fry C1 (B0) - whistle D8 off the piano). That means he hits notes in almost 8 octaves and sings consistently in 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly😅). At least what he has shown us so far. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert!). And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 15 languages so far). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in his hometown Almaty, it was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. Dimash often sings the hardest parts on his knees. He does it more dramatically when he's performing, but he does it often at regular concerts too, where he just kneels down normally, sometimes just on one knee. I don't know why he does it, but he does it so often that it must probably help his singing somehow.

It's not just his vocals though, he epitomises everything that is good about the human race. He said a long time ago that people who are admired and even idolised have a duty to live their lives in a way that sets an example for young people. He doesn't drink, smoke or do drugs, you'll never find him in the gossip columns or partying at clubs. He's kind, generous, funny and loving, with a strong bond to his family. He carries his anti war stance around the world with him and is frequently called on to give speeches on various topics like peace and racism. He gives incredible amounts of money and other donations to charity, on his birthday he frequently visits homes for the elderly or orphanages giving free small concerts to entertain the residents. He arrived in Malaysia today for his concert on Saturday and went straight to the main university to receive an award but made sure to give a motivational speech to the students on the importance of education and then left to go to the hospital to donate toys to the sick children there. He's incredible with children, they flock to him as though he's a long lost friend, even crying babies settle in his arms as though they know it's the safest place to be. I would definitely recommend you listen to his very latest song Omir which means Life, he released it as a gift for his Dears on his birthday to say thank you for all the gifts he had received. There is a line asking fate not to test him with tears but unfortunately only a week later Dimash lost his beloved grandfather.

The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I've discovered Dimas 2 years ago from TH-cam. I kept seeing his name pop up from people reacting to his songs, so the first I ever listen was " Love of Tired Swans". I didn't understand a word because is a Russian song, composed by Igor Krutoy years ago and sung by Lara Fabian, and I found myself crying! Since then never stop to listen to him. I don't care about the range vocal, the octaves and so on (I'm a listener only) what make me love him is that when he sing he touch my soul! The lateste song "Omir", a tribute to Life and his fans, is amazing! The video has eng subtitles (as many other languages because his dears now translate for their language).

Dimash's voice is a finely-tuned instrument...& like every instrument it takes someone who has trained starting at a very young age to master & perfect its use...but Dimash will be the first to say that he is not perfect...in fact, he is his own worst critic when it comes to any & all of his performances...which is the reason why even until now he still has vocal coaches that he consults to make sure that he sings the right way & allots 3-4 hours a day to practice...he has God-given talents & he knows not to waste it...

Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 7,7 octaves (vocal fry C1 (B0) - whistle D8 off the piano). That means he hits notes in almost 8 octaves and sings consistently in 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly😅). At least what he has shown us so far. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert!). And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 15 languages so far).
He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how.
Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this.
His concert in September 23, 2022 was in his hometown Almaty, it was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong.
He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills.
He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Not only is he perfect at singing and performing, he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄.
I think he wants to teach singing once he's off stage. Sometimes he already teaches friends' children when he has time. At least there is video material where you can see it.
He sang this song on his digital concert in January 2021 during the pandemic. He had to cancel his tour and did this concert for his Dears/fans. That’s why there was no audiende to be seen or heard.
SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione.
SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. He was just 22 years old at the time.

Here you can hear a large part of fhis vocal range, as well as an incredibly awesome Kazakh instrument. The Kobys. The man who often plays the kobys in Dimash’s performances is the best on this instrument and a good friend of Dimash. His name is Olzhas Qurmanbek. Stranger is one of my absolute favorite songs. I get goosebumps every time I hear it.

Dimash often sings the hardest parts on his knees. He does it more dramatically when he's performing, but he does it often at regular concerts too, where he just kneels down normally, sometimes just on one knee. I don't know why he does it, but he does it so often that it must probably help his singing somehow.

It's not just his vocals though, he epitomises everything that is good about the human race. He said a long time ago that people who are admired and even idolised have a duty to live their lives in a way that sets an example for young people. He doesn't drink, smoke or do drugs, you'll never find him in the gossip columns or partying at clubs. He's kind, generous, funny and loving, with a strong bond to his family. He carries his anti war stance around the world with him and is frequently called on to give speeches on various topics like peace and racism.
He gives incredible amounts of money and other donations to charity, on his birthday he frequently visits homes for the elderly or orphanages giving free small concerts to entertain the residents.
He arrived in Malaysia today for his concert on Saturday and went straight to the main university to receive an award but made sure to give a motivational speech to the students on the importance of education and then left to go to the hospital to donate toys to the sick children there.
He's incredible with children, they flock to him as though he's a long lost friend, even crying babies settle in his arms as though they know it's the safest place to be.
I would definitely recommend you listen to his very latest song Omir which means Life, he released it as a gift for his Dears on his birthday to say thank you for all the gifts he had received. There is a line asking fate not to test him with tears but unfortunately only a week later Dimash lost his beloved grandfather.

The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I've discovered Dimas 2 years ago from TH-cam. I kept seeing his name pop up from people reacting to his songs, so the first I ever listen was " Love of Tired Swans". I didn't understand a word because is a Russian song, composed by Igor Krutoy years ago and sung by Lara Fabian, and I found myself crying! Since then never stop to listen to him. I don't care about the range vocal, the octaves and so on (I'm a listener only) what make me love him is that when he sing he touch my soul! The lateste song "Omir", a tribute to Life and his fans, is amazing! The video has eng subtitles (as many other languages because his dears now translate for their language).

Dimash is such a perfect technician that he's able to accomplish what other's can't - he's also using the floor to ground himself and push up through his diaphram- if you watch OLYMPICO, from the European Games opening, you can see him pull in his abdomen and push up through his chest to hit those impossible notes

Dimash's voice is a finely-tuned instrument...& like every instrument it takes someone who has trained starting at a very young age to master & perfect its use...but Dimash will be the first to say that he is not perfect...in fact, he is his own worst critic when it comes to any & all of his performances...which is the reason why even until now he still has vocal coaches that he consults to make sure that he sings the right way & allots 3-4 hours a day to practice...he has God-given talents & he knows not to waste it...
