    炸鸡背后的陈年往事:
    2007那年新婚不久,我们曾在Subang 开档做夜市小贩卖炸鸡饭,想挣多点钱,当时白天上班干我们的正职,5点下班后就赶着去开档,晚上12点回家。当时真的好累,但是还是坚持了好几个月。还记得,母亲第一次来档口“探班”,眼睛泛红,用福建话对我说:“卡俭淡薄,阿ni 甘苦做舍咪...” 我看她没胃口吃晚餐,就叫了一杯milo,她也不舍得喝。那段其间,岳母也曾到档口帮头帮尾。直到,某一天晚上开档到一半,老婆却体力透支晕了过去进了SJMC急诊室,这才就此结束我的炸鸡生涯。。。这段追忆深深烙印在我的脑海中。。。

    The story behind the fried chicken:
    Not long after I got married in year 2007, my wife and I opened a stall in Subang Jaya as a night market hawker selling fried chicken rice in order to make more side income. At that time, we worked for our main duties during the day, and rushed to open the stall after get off from work at 5pm, and went home at 12 midnight. I was really tired at the time, but I persisted for several months. I still can recall that my mother came to visit our stall, she felt sorry to me and her eyes turned red, and she said to me in Hokkien asking me be frugal, don't need to work for so hard. She had no appetite for dinner, so I ordered a cup of Milo for her but, she was reluctant to drink it. During that period, my mother-in-law also went to the stall to help us out. Unfortunately, my wife was physically exhausted and passed out and admitted to the SJMC emergency room. This ended my career as a fried chicken hawker. This memory is deeply imprinted in my mind...

    酥炸粉 Crispy Frying Powder
    1) 普通面粉 All Purpose Flour : 3杯 |3 cups
    2) 木薯粉 Tapioca Stach : 1杯 |1 cup
    3) 泡打粉 Baking Powder : 2茶匙 |2 tsp
    4) 幼盐 Table Salt : 2茶匙 |2 tsp
    5) 白胡椒粉 White Pepper : 8茶匙 |8 tsp
    6) 黑胡椒粉 Black Pepper : 4茶匙 |4 tsp
    7) 牛至叶/奥勒冈草 Oregano : 1茶匙 |1 tsp
    8) 姜粉 Ginger Powder : 2茶匙 |2 tsp
    9) 蒜粉 Garlic Powder : 4茶匙 |4 tsp
    10) 罗勒 Dry Basil : 1茶匙 |1 tsp
    11) 洋葱粉 Onion Powder : 2茶匙 |2 tsp
    12) 辣椒粉 Chili Powder : 4茶匙 |4 tsp
    面糊 Batter
    1) 普通面粉 All Purpose Flour : 1/2杯 |1/2 cup
    2) 清水 Water : 1/2杯 |1/2 cup
    3) 泡打粉 Baking Powder : 1/2茶匙 |1/2 tsp
    4) 盐 Salt : 1毫克 |1ml
    5) 鸡蛋 Egg : 1粒 |1pc
