  • Chafing can happen with just about any activity that includes repetitive motion, but it is especially common during long-distance running and cycling.
    Chafing is usually a reaction to skin-on-skin or cloth-on-skin friction. This friction eventually causes a bout of irritation that could lead to running injury, resulting in a rash or even blisters. Severe chafing could be extremely painful, and when you experience chafing, it may also make movement difficult for you.
    But, there are various ways to both prevent and treat chafing. Here are some tips on how you can avoid chafing and also treat it in case you are suffering from it.
