Lyney is a very good f2p character. He literally only needs Kazuha. Although even his can be replaced Fontaine already has two 4* onions that suit him perfectly

Honest to God, i have heard one actually say "So for your f2p National Team you're gonna wanna be using Bennet (C5), Xingqiu (C6 with R5 Sac), Xiangling (C6) and Sucrose (C6 with R5 Sac). I know that's high cons but this is year 4, you should have these by now" Like... bro. If someone's been playing this game from launch as an f2p they aren't coming to *you* looking how to team build. Exactly. If you go and make a guide and put an F2P/Beginner team section, consider the characters who have been on banner in the past 6 months or something. It's all well and good saying "Zhongli is good here if you've got him" to new players today when he hasn't been on banner in almost a year.

Great video, I like the way you explain your view on each character in the context of f2p investment, and also how you clearly defined what you mean by that in the first place. It helps alleviate some of the ambiguity that tends to surround f2p meta discussions. I was honestly surprised when you brought up Nilou since I went in the video expecting 'traditional' dps characters, but I actually kinda agree with your take that her whole teams' dmg is so intrinsically tied to her kit, which no one else can emulate, that she might as well be the main dps On an unrelated note, the more videos from you I watch and the more team dps graphics I see, the more I realize how close to one another so many teams are. As an example, before Clorinde came out, I had never seen a Keqing team dps calc (despite playing her a lot), and because there isn't a lot of discussion around her and all the attention goes to the shiny new characters, I kinda assumed she wasn't that strong - and that her similar clear times to 'stronger' characters/teams on my account were due to practical gameplay more than anything else. But then when Clorinde came out and had to be compared to other electro carries, I finally got to learn about her dps on aggravate and quickbloom and let me tell you that I was surprised by how good she is - my clear times suddenly made a lot more sense lol, and it's only one example out of many

Bennett XL has been too dominant for too long. Chevruse and Thoma are good, but far too niche. We really need a major dominant pyro unit to shake up the element. It's become really stale.
@@Kmn483 Fr, there's no offield pyro DPS for so long, in hydro we have furina, Xingqiu, Yelan. In eletro we have Beidou, Yae, Fischl. In cryo we have rosaria ganyu, but in pyro, the only offield damage is Xiangling. There's an easy open slot for Mavuika there
All the ppl coping and seething that Nilou is finally being recognized as the powerhouse she is makes me smile. She is imo, the most f2p unit in the game after Neuv, but im happy with her placement as the TGS is quite reputable and I can get why he would place Alre and Alhaitham over her. Even then, being place right under the "Big 3" is the proper respect. I have facerolled every single abyss since i got her, and whenever Im having trouble with a floor, replacing it with my Nilou team ALWAYS, yields a better time. With investment nowadays, shes a top tier unit that is just being slept on because people wanna cling to the past when there was only Collei and DMC lol.
As a Nilou haver and lover, she literally has been barely viable/competitive in 3 lineups in a row. Not sure how that's F2P friendly to you. You just need to look at the 4.5/4.6/4.7 and soon 4.8 (so, 4 lineups in a row) to realize this. Not like I agree with the video to begin with though Although what do you mean by "with investment"? If you mean constellations and sig weapons that's out of the scope of the video
While Nilou's single target dmg is lower compared to a lot of the others on the list, Nilou paired with Nahida can take care of any single target abyss chamber with relative ease, and if you have Yelan, better. The previous abyss rotation, I used her with Sword of Narsizenkruz to fight icewind suite and she can clear the chamber in around 60s, no 5* constellations. Even before, in version 3.x abyss, I used her to fight Wenut (I have a video of that). Just want to put this here in case anyone want to pull for her, but misinterpreted what TGS said, and thinking that she's pretty bad at single target abyss. She's not bad, weaker in single target compared to the other options, but not bad.
Definitely. Nahida “fixes” her ST limitations, and I want to specify that you can clear icewind at the level of investment used by TGS using just DMC Barbara and Collei in much faster than 60s, you don’t need Nahida to achieve that

Neuvilette truly belongs up there - I came back to Genshin just before Fontaine after a longer pause and pulling Neuvilette was a total gamechanger. He helped me get 36 stars (I only played pretty casual before), my clears were much faster in general, i struggled less against annoying enemies and this in turn contributed to me getting more into the game, learning more strategy and getting better. Neuvilette kicked of this circle of improvement and Genshin has been more fun than ever - The absolutely great Fontaine story, more cool characters and so on did also add to my fun. Anyways, I saved my primos for his C1 and even got his Signature - I usually don't go for constellations or weapons, but with Neuvilette I just felt like i simply had to after he gave me such a boost and getting me hooked on the game again :)
As a Nilou main....iam soo happy u included her! Shes very niche yes but REALLY STRONG and sooo f2p friendly. You dont need much rotations....eveerything just dies😂
There's a lot of misinformation about Wriothesley in the comments, which is just really sad to see. I feel like a lot of people discredit him due to the belief that he's reliant on his C1 or on his signature, which is just not true. I've been using him C0 with no signature since he came out and while i enjoy his playstyle a lot and will definitely try to get his C1 on a rerun, it's nowhere as necessary to him as people make him out to be. More importantly the video is absolutely right that he has access to great F2P team options and weapons, especially at C0. Wriothesley is a lot more flexible than people think.
With or without his C1, Wriothesley's aoe is still weak and his high damage potential teams don't run Kazuha either so he feels a lot weak against more than 2 enemies and since he doesn't frontload, he doesn't have any advantage in ST over others either. I'd even say there's no need for his C1 because it doesn't change anything since he'll be still weaker than other Fontaine dps at C0 lol
@@amberxv4777Because unless there's an elemental check, usually Neuvillette by himself and a couple other subdps is already enough to clear. You would need much less time to clear total if furina is a brace for the weaker team Ofc it's prob a different story if your neu is c1
@@Quinton_ovo_ still doesn't make any sense why you would use wriothesley. Put Neuvillette in one team with Furina and the second team Arlecchino who doesn't use Furina and would do more dmg than wriothesley with Furina.
Nilou should be higher tbh. This list is questionable anyways because too many characters rely on high con 4*s to even function when those 4 stars are not guaranteed to be high con or even on the account. Nilou has a team that can be made with only free units and her, that is incredibly valuable for any f2p account or new player. I'd put Neuv over her because he also can function with just about anyone else but his further improvement relies on more general use characters compared to nilou who mostly wants nahida and then very niche units.
@@luminous3558 I think the list is quite fair tbh. Although I'm surprised of how high Alhaitham is, so maybe top 3. Neuv is neuv, he can solo anything besides hydro immune enemies while arlecchino is very strong with vape comps even with lower constellation teammates (C1 Benny, C0 XQ, a shielder).
I think this list could've stood to put a bit more emphasis on F2P. While there are tons of F2P accounts with lots of characters at this point, I think that it's a little bit disingenuous to rank characters that rely on Nahida, Yelan, Furina, or Kazuha so highly. Sure, they're incredibly valuable teammates that a lot of people pull for - but I think that not needing any 5 star teammates should outrank that. Hu Tao and Alhaitham, for example, REALLY suffer without their proper 5 star supports imo. In short, Navia should be a lot higher since she can easily be run with ENTIRELY free characters.
I think at this point it is mandatory to get Furina, Yelan, Kazuha and Nahida. Seeing recent abyss I think you can no longer stick with the pull for whatever I like formula. I bet they are gonna release one harder than that in natlan.
@@noob.69sb It's always pretty much been the case. You can pull whatever DPS you want, but they'll want the right supports to function. There are caveats, of course, in regards to the amount of investment needed, AoE vs single target, how universal the support team members are, that sort of thing. That said, you don't need all four of those. If you have two of the four, you're likely fine.
None of these characters rely on those 5*s, they do however rely on 4*s which are harder to pull for newer accounts and hardly ever run with their preferred 5* option on a banner. So you wanna play International? Good luck pulling childe, xiangling c4, sucrose/kazuha and bennett from what could be 4 different banners.
Also if you only look at characters who don’t depend on 5stars then you will have a list of hyperbloom carries and characters depending on xiangling Thats not accurate for f2p either. My second f2p account is at ar59 and xiangling is c2 and unusable
Actually, when childe is built correctly, his burst damage is really good. And childe national is the only team that can clear abyss with all c0 4 stars and all 4 star weapons that are either craftable or fish 2 play. The only bad things about this team are the rotations and xiangling's black hole of a stomach, one bad rotation and your dmg goes down the drain.
Pls look at multiple creators, flip and jello impact are great too, all creators make mistakes at some point and this creator has made a ton, and while he does have good takes and is worth watching you have to take things with a grain of salt and think more for yourself and figure out the mechanics of the game and characters
This video is not helpful to you. Most of the characters on this list require specific teams with c4+ 4*s. Childe is completely useless without c4 xiangling and even then you will need great artifacts while also using up 3 very contested 4* characters that have better teams. F2P is a very bad way to categorize account progress because someone who has been f2p since launch is now way more invested than a midsized whale that started this year. If you want advise then look at which characters your account already has and which characters (especially 4*s) are on banners. Most of the pull value on a banner comes from a 5* being accompanied by 1 or more useful 4* that can either slot into his team or create a 2nd team with what you already have.

I love hu tao, but even I am surprised to see her in this list xD Your arguments made sense, though! The Xianyun team was a good call, imo, since it's a team that "fix" her C0 problems. But I also understand your point on how not everyone will pull for Xianyun (even though they should, it's so fun =p)
@@critanddam9031 You're thinking too much about the "best options". Hu Tao + Xingqiu can work alone only those two, all the rest is bonus, if you think about it. If you think like that, she is pretty f2p. She doesn't need VV vape, Sucrose can help the team's DPS with the EM buff, and Swirling Hydro, buffing Xingqiu and buffing Hu Tao's vape. If you really want, you can still do it with Bennett as shown in the video. I just wasn't expecting for her to show up in the video in general, considering how many f2p friendly characters are out there. Hu Tao C0 main problem, in my opinion, is the stamina management, I'd say, and besides her C1, Yelan or Xianyun helps Hu Tao with that (you can use Yelan's E to not need to spend stamina to go after enemies like Maguu Kenki, and Xianyun encourages the Jump Cancel after Charged Attack). That was my reasoning.
My favourite Alhaithm team is Alhaithm Nahida Yae Baizhu(TTDS buffer/healer build) It pretty much competes with my furina teams. The main key here is Baizhu's A4, which massively buffs Dendro reactions likr Spread, aggrevate, and hyperbloom. At 50K HP he can buff hyperbloom damage by 100% and Aggrevate/Spread damage by 40%. On top of that if you guve him, TTDS he will buff your next active character's attack (usually Yae miko) by another 48%. Plus you can give him Deepwood artifact set to increase nahida and alhaithm's damage. Coming to nahida she is fully on EM build, with guilded dreams set. She massive buffs elemental mastery of both Yae and Alhaithm. And both Yae and alhaithm scale with elemental mastery. Alhaithm is also running on guilded dreams set, and I have given him wolf fang from battle pass. Yae has R5 widsith, and she is running on 4pc golden troupe. The set gives her 75% skill damage increase. Widsith itself gives her massive buffs. On top of that baizhu gives her 48% attack buff through TTDS, and Baizhu's burst buff aggrevatereaction damage by 40%. Apart from that Nahida also give her massive elemental mastery buff, thereby increasing her elemental skill damage, and also spread reaction damage.

As a Cyno Main, I agree. It takes so much more investment for him, including his stellar team to perform great and sadly Raiden will still performing the same or maybe even slightly better with his same stellar team with less investment, plus the lack of f2p polearms. Im just glad I havr winged jade spear.
He's here because of how self sustainable he is with the Marechaussee set and how easy it's for him to apply cryo and forward melt. BurnMelt and BurgeonMelt are really good teams for him. There was a time in which people would solo abyss with him. But anyways he is still very high in the ranking. This means that when compared to the top ranks, he has his flaws. But it's not like he's that bad.
Well, no one will probably notice this comment but still... As f2p who has both Navia and Clorinde I'd switch them in this ranking. My Navia with event weapon is doing much better in the abyss than Clorinde with Absolution. That's because I have neither Kazuha (lost on him twice) nor Furina and have only C1 Fischl. Tbh I don't think that character who NEEDS two other 5* and C6 4* in their team to be good can be considered f2p-friendly...
The only must have thing for Clorinde is a properly built fischl and a decent dendro app. Its pretty obvious your Navia and her team is just much more invested.
Clorinde doesn’t need Furina, I think she performs fine with a decent Fischl and good dendro application which dendro MC can provide, and even characters like Kirara work too (even if Nahida is an upgrade but that’s just Nahida being Nahida). And Sucrose is a really good alternative in Clorinde dendro teams because of the EM buff she provides so I think the teams where Clorinde performs the best are pretty cheap.
I agree. Navia only cares about crystallize and you can team her with any PECH units with good elemental application to proc those crystals. She's way flexible and strong personal damage than Wrio who mostly relies on his teammates to buff him (plus his self-heal issue at c0)
I kind of get what TGS is saying about her weapon options not being as good without BP or gem investment, but I still have to agree that she should be higher. She's just SO strong and has such good teammates within just the 4* roster, even relying on weapons like Sacrificial or Tidal Shadow shouldn't really hold her back quite this much.
Just to give my 2 cents. I'm F2P and have been using Ayaka to clear every recent Abyss. My team consists of Ayaka, Furina, Charlotte, and Kazuha. Before getting Kazuha, I used Sucrose and it worked fine. The point is even without Shenhe, my Ayaka team still performs really well.
Ayaka is a suboptimal choice for F2P investment dps: significantly worse F2P options compared to other 5 stars, severe issues against unfreezable enemies which in recent abysses plummeted her usage rates, needs very high artefact investment since she is a hypercarry unlike characters like Clorinde or Raiden who have other characters contributing to their damage. Absolutely justifiable that she’s not on this list

I don't agree at C0. He is slightly better than Ayaka at C1, but at C0 his charge attack and heals are a bit wonky and some healers might nott be able to help him. Idk, I don't use cryo so I might be wrong
ganyu and ayaka aren't high bar to begin with. Wrio is still mid compared to other elemental dps because of no frontload and bad aoe, just easy and simple to play but there's other units who are easy to play as well
@@sseraph777 I think I agree but also disagree for different reasons, I have been seeing lot of criticism against him, some that I agree with and some that I disagree with. I don't think he is bad but I do think he is worse than Ayaka in freeze teams, worse than other drivers in Xianling teams, cannot fully take advantage of Shenhe in mono cryo and you have hyperfridge left, again you have better drivers for that. He lacks front-loaded damage, cannot take advantage of melt reaction either, lacks good AoE and many other things. Though, I do like that he is flexible to use at least.
You can comsider adding Yoimiya. She is one of the easiest dps to play. She has 3 star weapon slingshot and 4 star weapon Rust. She is single target focused but her range makes up for it. She uses Shimenawa artifact which is to most resin efficient to farm. She doesn't rely on her burst to do damage. She has great synergy with meta supports like Kazuha, Yelan, Xingqiu, Zhongli, Fischl, Bennett, Sucrose, Furina, etc. She has lots of team comps to play with~ Vape, mono pyro, melt, overvape, overload, burgeon, etc. If you are using her with Furina, she can use 4pc Hunter set which is also extremely resin efficient. A lot of mobile player will be helped by her simple gameplay and simple rotations.
Yet she lacks damage to remotely keep up with any of the character on the list and being her range doesn’t make up for her single target locked kit and even her single target damage is even that high to begin with

I agree with other people saying Wrio shouldn't be here, or lower than navia, wrio doesn't have a particularly good pure f2p team since bennet xl and thoma rely on constellations to let him melt properly, while navia has extremely good flexibility thanks to geo traveler being free and her last two spots being filled by any off field elemental application
i disagree with you. Wriothesley has free supports like dendro traveller for his burn melt teams. Watch it on youtube. He also has Thoma C0. Thoma buff from C6 is less than 2%. That is worse than a mid artifact roll. He also has synergy with every element except electro. Whether its hyper bloom where cryo uniqeuly helps generate more dendro cores. So synergy with dendro. Also burn. Then there is melt where he gets most of his damage. So that's pyro. There is also anemo and geo (whether its double geo or anemo vv and grouping). He has synnergy with hydro in freeze. Navias has less synergy. Has no good reaction with any of them that would benefit the team like generating more bloom cores for hyperbloom, creating freeze etc.

i fw this list, actually almost exactly how i'd rate it; maybe a few small adjustments (i really like navia and raiden personally, so my bias would probably move them up a spot or two, but i'm also bp/welkin the last couple years so i understand the lens through which i experience the game isn't the same as f2p), but really nailed it imo
I think after 5.0 Allhatiam will be 2nd because of strongbox for sumeru domain, but i think Arle is still the 2nd for now. But its a great video, i think you should make a 4 star/standard 5* version, because it would help a lot the new players.

Theoretically Al haitam does even more damage than Nuvilette does but in practice it is a lot closer and it is lot easier to just oonga boonga with Nuvilette and Arlecchino compared to maintaining mirrors using Alhaitam for average players.
I posted this on Jamie's video where you talked about this list and it had me wondering if you could do a follow-up video where you cover the 4 and 5 star units you feel like most TCs and guide-makers *assume* every account ought to have and have built with appropriate artifacts. We all obviously have our own suspicions but it'd be neat to see what you personally think on the subject. Also: TGS 5, Jamie 3, draw 2 on my end haha
Kinda suprised that navia is only on 10th place. She has many good comps, she is not cons dependent, fronloaded damage. I prefer her much more than xiao for example. Clorinde and wrio being higher than her? How?
wriothesley and clorinde have better f2p weapons. her best f2p weapons are all attack%, which is diminished by using bennett, her best teammate. and she is pretty glued to bennett so her comps are definitely not more flexible than the two you mentioned
I've been saying a lot of that when it comes to raiden. She may not be the best, but she is very versatile, which is why I think most accounts would benefit from her. I'd say this list is very accurate

In high investment teams, the dps are almost similar for every teams, just a difference of few milliseconds. I saw a comparison at C6R5 and the top 3 were: Arrlechino, Furina & Wriothesley. Neuvillette was at 7 or 8, i don’t remember exactly.

As a f2p neuvi main with proto amber with three crowned i am grateful for the things he does for me in almost everything i do.Started genshin cuz of the hydro dragon and stayed for him,never regretted getting him at all he is so damn fun wnd is also top three overall dps :):))
Lyney has a great F2P bow in Song of Stillness, and it's even better when played with Furina. I kinda agree with others Wriosthely and Nilou are questionable for this list, I'd probably swap one out for Lyney.
Swap wrio who can be played in a hyper fridge/ freeze/ melt teams with many flexible 4 stars for leyny who needs Bennett (the support for every other team) and xl, with all respect he included the comfiness and f2p AND the low investment Points, btw i have neither wrio nor lyney I'm not biased

All lyney needs is benny and one other pyro that’s not hard to pull off. Not to mention he’s more front loaded than wrio. They don’t say lyney competes with Father and Hu Tao for no reason lol. Dude can you share your Childe Internat sheet? I'm gonna fully admit to being a bit hypocritical about this because I haven't tried "accurately" sheeting the team myself, but I swear every KQMS calc for this team I've seen, whether on paper or on gcsim, all fall in that 45K-50K range which is just frankly ridiculous. If you're playing the team right, you should be able to achieve ~25s rotations. At your final value of 46K DPS, that amounts to just 1.15M DPR. To say that that figure is misleadingly low is an understatement. Do y'all just assume the bare minimum possible hitcount on XL or something?
internat is a team that preforms better in practice than sheets as alot of sheets are single target not accounting for aoe (hitting 2 enemys for 40k dps is better than hitting 1 for 70k) not accounting for crit fished childe bursts plus kqms is pretty low investment (an endgame player will do around 30% ish more damage ) what will make damage seem low, in reality internat feels better to play due to it's damage distribution (killing enemys with childes burst then going into XL's damage window)
Things that are often ignored with International that really set it apart are the frontloaded damage, extending rotations, and Xianglings potential for much higher damage through double-hit pyronado or whatever speedrunners like to call it. In bosses Xiangling's pyronado hits twice, but it's possible to do this with most other enemies with specific techniques.

I'm glad people are past the cope of Arlecchino being anywhere close to Neuvillette lmfao. My Hu Tao mogs, personally I don't struggle at all with her and she has carried me through every abyss since I first got her. I will never bench.
Depends what you argue what she's close at, cause in single target and where enemies aren't as spread out she's better but if it's wider aoe neuvillete is better and just overall easier to use

@osmano8498 there's a lot of nuance you also don't mention, neuvilletes rotation is like 30 seconds where as arlechinnos is more like 20, and arlechinno can extend her rotation to finish an enemy by using her e swirling pyro then ca and use her remaining bond. F2P Neuv hyper is not one rotating a 2m boss anyway lol
As a f2p with lyney he does do very high dmg even at f2p investment but there is a catch. He's very back loaded as it does takes time to get max dmg with him and he's extremely squishy and is difficult to play. I still love him tho.
My first 5 was Alhaitham and he carries my abomination of a freeze/hyperbloom team. And then just got Nilou attempting to C4 Kaveh. And she’s fantastic with her bloom mechanism. It’s super fun.
i'm honestly not a fan of recommending Nilou anymore, yes she's very f2p friendly and yes she has easy to build teams but she also has nowhere to go from there and isn't that much better then hyperbloom for abyss where most of the time you're not fighting that many enemies together. as a c1r1 Nilou haver i don't use her anymore cuz my other teams just clear faster now that i have some solid crit artifacts Edit: my main argument here is not that Nilou is weak, it is that an Abyss where she excels almost never happens' Edit 2: just cleared floor 12 chamber 1 first half with a Nilou team and hyperbloom respectively, and the Nilou team was 7 seconds faster Nilou Nahida Baizhu Kokomi vs Kirara Nahida Xingqui Kuki
Before an account has the level of investment to outpace Nilou teams with other ones it’s gonna pass a lot of time, potentially years, and still in her niche she’s a beast even with free characters and dull blade no matter what. Outside of her niche she not only can still work fine but with characters like Nahida bosses and other unfavourable scenarios can still become a joke. She hard carried me like crazy, if one unit deserves to be in this list is her, not even debatable
Why are you comparing Nilou bloom to hyperbloom? Sure they both use dendro and hydro units, but you use them in two entirely different cases. You can argue that Nuev is gonna do better than Nilou in most cases, and I think that is a valid criticism, but it isn't like Nilou does poorly.

Like if you're not going to bother to invest the 180 resin you get then how much do you really care how strong your characters are to begin with? Kokomi does do quite a large portion of the damage in monohydro, especially with Furina & Yelan & Kazuha (or Xingqiu for the hydro res shred) buffing her damage.
Kokomi is a great overall unit and good for beginners. i wouldnt say shes great in the damage department but definitely enough for open world exploration
Each of the hydro's in the Yelan variant do a little under a third of dps, with Kokomi having a slight edge. In the Xingqiu variant she does nearly 40% not a huge portion of the damage, and she is definitely someone I wouldn't put on the list, but not too far off of it either.
Clorinde, Raiden, Hu Tao and Nilou above Childe seems questionable to me, his team has consistently been clearing almost all types of content till now and still great at ST and one of the best for AoE and has pretty good vertical investment. Even going by your own sheet, with r5 Rust Childe does about the same as Xianling in the team, and that's not even his best bow. I think another vague statement about the team you made is about his weapons regarding the difference between the 4 stars and 5 stars being very huge but you overlooked that Stringless can pretty much compete against the 5* bows and even best some for burst. I do see some counter-arguments you can make such as him being very niche and hard to play, but the argument goes for Haitham as well, he has pretty much one f2p niche and also can be hard to play with managing his mirror stacks, also more favoured for ST content. The same argument kinda also goes for Hu Tao in a way. I think Nilou is fine and debatable, Raiden now has more archetypes but still not too different from Ayato or Kokomi (such as competing with Kuki who is a four star in hyperbloom teams, competing against drivers for Xianling like Childe and Sucrose, etc.), kind of similar situation to Ayato but offers more. Another strong point you missed for International, Nilou teams and Neuv teams is that they free up Xingqiu or any other hydro for your 2nd half, and I think that we can already acknowledge that this is a pretty good strong point for f2p teams since Xingqiu is very strong and almost majority of the top teams depend on hydro if not all, you can make so many archetypes with hydro and two of the most f2p friendly ones being national/vape and hyper bloom. And why do the sheets look scuffed?
Only childe speedrunners can access the full potential of the team. Average player will not be able to take advantage of his frontload and his various double swirl set ups. His sustain damage is pretty weak too

Where do you get that average players cannot take advantage of his front-loaded damage and various double swirl set-ups? The same argument can be used for against both Alhaitham and Hu Tao, the double standards are kinda insane, been hearing this for a while. You can mess up Haitham's mirror stack at times or need to figure it out (susceptible to interruption too), you can also miss the timing to get back on him after bursting and swapping. As for Arle, she just feels fragile to play but outside of that no issues, however, the same cannot be said for Hu Tao, she is not only fragile but also has difficult vv setups, while double hydro does simplify that, her playstyle at C0 doesn't lol and being ST oriented doesn't help that case for her and the team itself for AoE contents, there's no doubt that her C1 makes a huge QoL. And I didn't get what you mean by sustain damage? His team being front-loaded rather than sustain isn't necessarily a bad thing? The abyss has a time limit, the faster you can frontload your damage, the faster you can potentially clear the wave, his team being front-loaded is one of the reasons why he has one of the best if not the best f2p speedrunning team and quite common for speedrunning, it's because it's front-loaded. Obviously I can see scenarios where sustain is also good but being front-loaded is an upside than a downside, it's the same reason why Ayaka will most of the times have faster clear time than Ganyu, front-loaded damage vs sustain but I get what you mean tho.
The major problem with Childe is he is too rotation-reliant. The difference between executing his supposed rotation and playing him casually is like heaven and hell. Other characters above him have incentive if their rotations were properly executed, yet doesn't lose too much damage if not executed well. Furthermore, the level of artifact investment that you need for Childe for f2p set up should also be considered.

@@ryuuraga1619 Childe is "more" rotation reliant than others would be a better wording, I agree with that, but it's not like there are no teams that feel like that at the same level, for instance, Hu Tao's vv-set up teams. The only part I see that can be messed up is the double vv-swirl, let's say you did mess that part up, it's not like how you make it seem like heaven and hell lol, it's a Xianling + Bennett core, you're still getting swirl on one of the elements, in that scenario yes other drivers can catch up to him while being more comfortable. The same goes for Haitham if not playing with Nahida then you cannot consistently apply deepwood with just Yaoyao or Dendro Trav if not played properly (that's -20% almost), there can be mess ups in timing when you swap off during his burst animation, there can be mess ups with mirror stacks, etc. I don't think I have to touch on Hu Tao, she is self explanatory. As for artifact investment, I don't see where it's expensive to build the team? You farm emblem domain for Xianling, strongbox to Noblesse or Virdescent for Bennett and Kaz/Suc, slap 2pc Shime and any 2pc on Childe and you're good to go. In fact, there are much more expensive teams out there, I mean Rational asks you to get pretty much 4pc Emblem on 3 of the characters, I know how difficult that was because I've been in that situation.
Seeing some of the comments here, I feel sad for the side effects of the speedrunning community. It makes this "oh childe is actually a bad character, you need to reset alot" archetype. I do agree hes hard to play (some label his team as clunky), but thats for me is the fun of it. You can clear the abyss without him critting his ult, as long as you know how to drive xiangling properly. If you put that as "that takes too much skill, so its not F2P", then yeah hes not F2P in that context.
It's not about him being hard to play. He just has an extremely low floor and that's the opposite of being f2p friendly. Non-speedrun International has a lot of practical issues, the most blatant one being Xiangling's energy management. "You can clear the abyss without him critting his ult", yeah you can, and ? He's still more reliant on crits than most other carries. He's extremely good in low cost speedruns as you can use e.g. stringless critfish, but that's out of the scope of the video. The whole reason International is so good is because you can adapt your rotation depending on the given chamber and skip the part where you funnel Xiangling (otherwise your DPS is actually close to the sheets aka ~45k dps) by frontloading your damage, etc. Stuff that can't be done easily by F2P players. Thus why he's not f2p friendly at all

Childe 64/95 300 EM 1.6k atk, xiangling 62/100 200EM 1.1k atk, bennett noblesse and kazuha VV. I can still clear the abyss with it, 85s + 85s + 76s. It takes a hefty amount of retries on the ASIMON tho

the Ayato, is the second or third best option in lots of good teams best in none. He probably is a great pick up for newer F2P players as he opens up a lot of teams (feels like almost every hydro team he can function well) but everyone of those teams can be upgraded by another hydro unit it feels like.
It is misconception that Xiangling is the best Pyro damage dealer. She is appreciated because she is a 4 star and the off field nature. Any Pyro 5 star dps outdamages her.

I think Chlorinde and Navia's positions should be switched because of the following: a. Navia is by far the best F2P Geo DPSes bar none, especially compared to Itto. Chlorinde, meanwhile, has numerous other forms of competition in the form of Raiden, Keqing, Yae and maybe Cyno but that one is more arguable. Even if Chlorinde out dpses most of her competition, her field is so saturated that she doesn't feel like a beneficial F2P pull b. Navia takes very little effort to play and be beneficial. She doesn't need any specific team comps to work out. Chlorinde needs to move around her timing restrictions to make her teams feel comfortable. c. While Geo is in a bad position right now, Navia's damage makes it so that she's the best pick when going against any geo shields or geo vulnerable enemies. Whereas you still have numerous ways to go around electro vulnerable enemies beyond just using Chlorinde. d. Navia has a bigger gun
Should mention Nilou's reliance on Nahida as well Edit: For PPL arguing in chat 1. Nahida is beast deepwood holder, makes rotations trivial 2. Scales of full EM so her blooms r much stronger 3. Can be used solo dendro with strong off field hydro to clear solo target situations 4. Gives massive em buff to onfield hydro triggers 5. There is no replacement even close to her right now. 6. Nilou can't be considered top teir DPS without Nahida. 7. I am not saying the list is wrong just that a Nahida mention would be nice so that ppl know
He said he was only gonna mention things like that when the 5* weren't something most people would get anyway. Nahida is a staple for accounts that care about power.
Even that time when Nahida hasn't come out yet, but the combo of DMC + Collei is just like Nahida's but not that worse. I know Nilou with Nahida is much more comfy now, but saying "reliance" on Nahida is an overstatement.
She is not 'reliant' on Nahida - Nahida is an upgrade for her (over the traveler, of all characters), which is not the same thing at all For instance : vape and melt teams are reliant on certain characters, without whom it's impossible to make the team work (you won't have the right aura at the right time to vape or melt, etc) ; Furina teams are reliant on healers to both take advantage of her kit (and not die) ; some teams are reliant on specific characters for specific setups such as double swirls, or even on specific constellations like Bennett's C6 enabling pyro infusion. All of that is what you'd call 'reliance', it makes or breaks the team in a fundamental way But Nilou Bloom works perfectly fine with dendro Traveler and Collei. In single target, Nahida's higher talent damage can matter, but honestly even that issue is way overblown. A team as bad in single target and as low in terms of talent damage as C0R0 Nilou - Barbara - Traveler - Collei can even beat the Wenut, which is one of the (if the one) worst cases of a time-stalling single target situation, which is basically the least ideal scenario for Nilou outside of cryo shields

The fact that Childe is there and he's not really a DPS but a driver shows how great of a unit he is. If he doesn't have the cooldown mechanic, he would probably be at number 5 or 6
It’s hard to make a list like this because for me units like yelan could be played as a main dps (mono hydro sigewinne) and the f2p value is just due to being able to fill main dps role and sub dps roles. I like the list, but I personally don’t use Hu Tao. I have her c0 without sig weapon and she just does okay. Compared to my c0 yoimiya on r5 rust it’s maybe like 10% worse and that’s me doing perfect jump cancels and dodge cancels. I feel like the amount of effort required in both farming artifacts and having to jump cancel every hit makes her less f2p friendly. Id say ayaka is probably more f2p friendly with craftable inazuma weapon and can work well if they didn’t nerf freeze in abyss.
Yoimiya is 20-40% worse in terms of dmg than hutao and if you dodge at the wrong time yoimiya misses vapes on her biggest hits, she's also completely single target pretty much while hutao can vape multiple enemies with her CAs and burst. Yoimiya is easier to play on something like phone though unless someone is used to mobile gaming I guess
Bro says "Harbinger of Dawn's 90% HP requirement realistically is rarely an issue because Haitham is constantly paired with either Zhongli or a healer" and then proceeds to play a bunch of footage in the background where Haitham isn't above 90% HP, including with Zhongli lmfao.
Single target locked and not even particularly good at it, heavily falls off in calculations and in practice, either you play a shield and do underwhelming damage or you don’t use one and she feels really squishy, no resistance to interruption nor damage reduction and dodging on her is a damage loss since her highest hit is the last one, dodging it interrupts her string. Pretty much one of the worst on field units in the game as of now which is even more detrimental considering her competition which is better across the board.
One of the big deals here is how flexible their teams can be for F2P, and I will argue that Childe and Nilou have given too much credit for them enabling a niche. You will just go for them if your dedicated despite their caveats.
If the pyro archon ends up doing damage offield she can replace Xiangling, kazuha can already be replaced with Sucrose So the team is getting less and less niche

In my opinion, you are wrong. Let me share my experience : I got Nilou back when I was still unable to beat the abyss (I had never 36 starred it, only 34 or 35 on 1 or 2 occasions after an ungodly amount of resets despite having Yelan, Raiden, and Nahida on my account), and I was literally able to 36* the very day I got her - She was incredibly easy to build - it took me about a week to farm her artifacts, so even if I hadn't done it in advance I would still have been able to 36* during the same patch regardless - Her teammates were all free or obtainable through the shop / lantern rite (I had to use Nahida+Yelan hyperbloom on the other side to 36*, so my team was either Nilou - Xingqiu - dendro Traveler - Yaoyao, or Nilou - Barbara - dendro Traveler - Collei) - Everyone else on her team had pretty mid, if not downright horrible builds, but said team still had far faster clear times than any of my other teams at the time Before getting her, I was not sure if she'd actually help me in terms of beating the abyss - after all, the other limited 5* I had gotten were very strong meta picks, but they had let's say, disappointing perfomances considering how much they were hyped up (which makes sense in hindsight, the state of my account made it difficult for them to shine, with the exception of Nahida who really helped me). But once I had her, I was blown away. To the point where it really made me reconsider my understanding of what makes characters/teams strong, and even what I wanted to do with my account going forward. If I had pulled for any other character, I can fully guarantee I would NOT have been able to 36*, and at this pace, it would have taken me a couple more patches to do it. Which is not that bad tbh, no one should be pressured to 36* asap since everyone will end up doing it eventually, so I definitely could have been a bit more patient - but it does tell us something about how strong she is at F2P investment compared to other characters Think about it - if she's one of your first limited 5*, you'll most likely end up playing her with Barbara, the Traveler, and Collei. Are these characters needed in like, ANY other team ? No ! You're actively helping your second team by making use of these characters - who are all free. In my case I could use Xingqiu on the other side (for double hydro hyperbloom), and once I had farmed slightly better artifcats, I also started using Raiden national, solely because Nilou didn't need any of the powerful 4* characters who make up that team. Before Nilou, I had to use my hyperbloom team without Xingqiu for example, so that I could spare him for Raiden national. Also, since I wasn't a veteran player, my artifacts were pretty damn bad, and in a team like Raiden national where all of the damage is talent damage, it simply did not have high enough dps, so having a powerful team like Nilou Bloom clearing one side well under 90s gave my second team a lot more room. For instance, I went from needing about 2 minutes for each side (on average), which obviously is too long to 36*, to clearing in less than a 1 minute with my f2p Nilou team, and about 90 to 100s with my second team (since my hyperbloom team could clear faster than before by replacing whatever shitty flex slot I had to use with Xingqiu) (as a sidenote, this comes from someone who wasn't even really F2P anymore, as I had spent money to get Yelan's C2 and sig weapon, but as it turns out, that did not allow me to clear, not even close - although it was still a good investment in the long run)
I am a complete F2P, playing Genshin for about 1.5 years. I decided to get C1 Furina just because of this awful Spiral Abyss we got now, since I also have all the characters I wanted, so the first criterion is somewhat flexible (now, I think having a "critical" C1 is still fine for F2Ps, granted you can even get double 5* within a single 10-pull). As for the characters, I have not yet mastered Clorinde, nor did I get the Whimsy artifact set for her yet, and with Finale of the Deep R5 and Gladiator set, her bes team unfortunately requires Nahida/Kazuha/Fischl, so in the current abyss, where the second half requires me to use a Mono Hydro team, I could only try her with Chevreuse/Thoma/Fischl on the first half, and it was a disaster for me, it is too clunky. C0 Alhaitham is best for me here, and I use him with Harbinger of Dawn all the time, with Kuki and Xingqiu (and Nahida this time). He is amazing, just I should always bear in mind the rotation, so as to have both hydro and electro application all the time. I do have access to Arlecchino, C0 with White Tassel R5, and she is not that strong/easy to play. Same as C0 Hu Tao with Dragon's Bane, although Hu Tao is even worse to play. I do not have Neuvillette, and pray Natlan releases a better character, or else, I will have to pull for him and his C1, else, I just hate his lack of interruption resistance that averted me a lot from this character while testing him out. Raiden does not heal, so I use Kuki in my Hyperbloom teams (Baizhu could solve the issue, but I did not pull for Baizhu).
Now I'm not going to complain because this list seems great and fair. But did he just forget Ayaka? She wasn't even in the honourable mentions. You're not going to convince me that Ayato and kokomi are better dps than her.
yeah try playing ayaka when enemies have either 50% resistance to freeze (consecrated beasts) or cannot be freezed at all (all the single wave chambers with bosses) or have high resistance to cryo (coppelia) imo not worth to even mention her because hoyo has been hating freeze teams for quite a while
After listening up to the end of Alhaitham's entry, I feel like his entry for some reason is the only one where you've placed him based on his team rather than himself? As a DPS, Arlecchino far surpasses him and it's not even close, even if his team can compete with hers. I personally feel like for Alhaitham's ranking specifically, you're not judging him by his value specifically and instead giving him second place because he has the best hyperbloom team.

I feel like not including characters that need Faruzan or Chev, but including Furina variants for characters that don't actually run her often has the same level of impracticality. Usage rate isn't good for telling a unit's overall strength but it can be a good look into the f2p mindset. Alhaitham only appearing in Furina's 26th most popular team compared to Neuv's #1, Xiao's #5, Clorinde's #6, or Hu tao's 11th. Should be a good indicator that most f2p don't view the pairing as high priority and I think it boosted him quite a bit here.
That doesn't decrease the value of the pairing in my eyes. Usage rates rate those chars low with furina because players mostly use her with Neuvillette, but the potential is there and the choice is yours

As much as i am a 4* fanboy, often preferring and rallying behind them as they usually get more forgotten regardless of everything else, the fact is getting a 4* is pain in this game. It often can cost the same as C2 on a 5* to secure a C6 of a 4*
for childe its better stringless sience charge atk are very important for childe personal dmg, and stringless can oneshot the first wave easy or phase a boss very quickly like kenki, so im practice stringless gonna be a much better option
Top 4 I agree. Lower 6... It's not that I disagree, it's that in my opinion they are significantly worse for a new-ish f2p player than the top 4. The list should be like 5 characters long, but the video would probably be too short.
Tighnari should be there, his cons isn't bad and you probably get to c2-c4 after playing the game several years, with Cons he will be on par or even beat the above teams mentioned. Unlike the other standard 5* dps which their cons doesn't really improve much excluding c6 dehya I guess.

Tignari does about 500k-400k per rotation which is about 20k-25k dps, he also fails to mention that in alhaitham teams kuki does more damage and in spread alhaitham also only does about 50% of the teams dps. Then adding on the fact that you can add more offensive units with tignari he simply outscales alhaitham in single target.
im sure mualani will be as f2p friendly as neuvillette since they have similar build same f2p weapon, same artifacts(marechausse also works well for her as long as theres furina in the team but the new set is still better),almost same team comps since reactions is not mandatory on mualani,

Great video, I like the way you explain your view on each character in the context of f2p investment, and also how you clearly defined what you mean by that in the first place. It helps alleviate some of the ambiguity that tends to surround f2p meta discussions. I was honestly surprised when you brought up Nilou since I went in the video expecting 'traditional' dps characters, but I actually kinda agree with your take that her whole teams' dmg is so intrinsically tied to her kit, which no one else can emulate, that she might as well be the main dps
On an unrelated note, the more videos from you I watch and the more team dps graphics I see, the more I realize how close to one another so many teams are. As an example, before Clorinde came out, I had never seen a Keqing team dps calc (despite playing her a lot), and because there isn't a lot of discussion around her and all the attention goes to the shiny new characters, I kinda assumed she wasn't that strong - and that her similar clear times to 'stronger' characters/teams on my account were due to practical gameplay more than anything else. But then when Clorinde came out and had to be compared to other electro carries, I finally got to learn about her dps on aggravate and quickbloom and let me tell you that I was surprised by how good she is - my clear times suddenly made a lot more sense lol, and it's only one example out of many

Bennett XL has been too dominant for too long. Chevruse and Thoma are good, but far too niche. We really need a major dominant pyro unit to shake up the element.

@@Kmn483 Fr, there's no offield pyro DPS for so long, in hydro we have furina, Xingqiu, Yelan. In eletro we have Beidou, Yae, Fischl. In cryo we have rosaria ganyu, but in pyro, the only offield damage is Xiangling.

All the ppl coping and seething that Nilou is finally being recognized as the powerhouse she is makes me smile. She is imo, the most f2p unit in the game after Neuv, but im happy with her placement as the TGS is quite reputable and I can get why he would place Alre and Alhaitham over her. Even then, being place right under the "Big 3" is the proper respect. I have facerolled every single abyss since i got her, and whenever Im having trouble with a floor, replacing it with my Nilou team ALWAYS, yields a better time.
With investment nowadays, shes a top tier unit that is just being slept on because people wanna cling to the past when there was only Collei and DMC lol.
As a Nilou haver and lover, she literally has been barely viable/competitive in 3 lineups in a row. Not sure how that's F2P friendly to you. You just need to look at the 4.5/4.6/4.7 and soon 4.8 (so, 4 lineups in a row) to realize this. Not like I agree with the video to begin with though

While Nilou's single target dmg is lower compared to a lot of the others on the list, Nilou paired with Nahida can take care of any single target abyss chamber with relative ease, and if you have Yelan, better. The previous abyss rotation, I used her with Sword of Narsizenkruz to fight icewind suite and she can clear the chamber in around 60s, no 5* constellations. Even before, in version 3.x abyss, I used her to fight Wenut (I have a video of that). Just want to put this here in case anyone want to pull for her, but misinterpreted what TGS said, and thinking that she's pretty bad at single target abyss. She's not bad, weaker in single target compared to the other options, but not bad.
Definitely. Nahida “fixes” her ST limitations, and I want to specify that you can clear icewind at the level of investment used by TGS using just DMC Barbara and Collei in much faster than 60s, you don’t need Nahida to achieve that

Neuvilette truly belongs up there - I came back to Genshin just before Fontaine after a longer pause and pulling Neuvilette was a total gamechanger. He helped me get 36 stars (I only played pretty casual before), my clears were much faster in general, i struggled less against annoying enemies and this in turn contributed to me getting more into the game, learning more strategy and getting better. Neuvilette kicked of this circle of improvement and Genshin has been more fun than ever - The absolutely great Fontaine story, more cool characters and so on did also add to my fun.
Anyways, I saved my primos for his C1 and even got his Signature - I usually don't go for constellations or weapons, but with Neuvilette I just felt like i simply had to after he gave me such a boost and getting me hooked on the game again :)

There's a lot of misinformation about Wriothesley in the comments, which is just really sad to see. I feel like a lot of people discredit him due to the belief that he's reliant on his C1 or on his signature, which is just not true. I've been using him C0 with no signature since he came out and while i enjoy his playstyle a lot and will definitely try to get his C1 on a rerun, it's nowhere as necessary to him as people make him out to be.
More importantly the video is absolutely right that he has access to great F2P team options and weapons, especially at C0.
Wriothesley is a lot more flexible than people think.
With or without his C1, Wriothesley's aoe is still weak and his high damage potential teams don't run Kazuha either so he feels a lot weak against more than 2 enemies and since he doesn't frontload, he doesn't have any advantage in ST over others either.
I'd even say there's no need for his C1 because it doesn't change anything since he'll be still weaker than other Fontaine dps at C0 lol

Nilou should be higher tbh. This list is questionable anyways because too many characters rely on high con 4*s to even function when those 4 stars are not guaranteed to be high con or even on the account.
Nilou has a team that can be made with only free units and her, that is incredibly valuable for any f2p account or new player.
I'd put Neuv over her because he also can function with just about anyone else but his further improvement relies on more general use characters compared to nilou who mostly wants nahida and then very niche units.

I think this list could've stood to put a bit more emphasis on F2P. While there are tons of F2P accounts with lots of characters at this point, I think that it's a little bit disingenuous to rank characters that rely on Nahida, Yelan, Furina, or Kazuha so highly. Sure, they're incredibly valuable teammates that a lot of people pull for - but I think that not needing any 5 star teammates should outrank that. Hu Tao and Alhaitham, for example, REALLY suffer without their proper 5 star supports imo.
In short, Navia should be a lot higher since she can easily be run with ENTIRELY free characters.
I think at this point it is mandatory to get Furina, Yelan, Kazuha and Nahida. Seeing recent abyss I think you can no longer stick with the pull for whatever I like formula.
I bet they are gonna release one harder than that in natlan.
@@noob.69sb It's always pretty much been the case. You can pull whatever DPS you want, but they'll want the right supports to function. There are caveats, of course, in regards to the amount of investment needed, AoE vs single target, how universal the support team members are, that sort of thing.
That said, you don't need all four of those. If you have two of the four, you're likely fine.
None of these characters rely on those 5*s, they do however rely on 4*s which are harder to pull for newer accounts and hardly ever run with their preferred 5* option on a banner.
So you wanna play International? Good luck pulling childe, xiangling c4, sucrose/kazuha and bennett from what could be 4 different banners.
No. Alhaitham doesn’t rely on his 5stars. I’ve been 36 starring abyss with xq kuki and yaoyao and harbinger of dawn since his release
Also if you only look at characters who don’t depend on 5stars then you will have a list of hyperbloom carries and characters depending on xiangling

Actually, when childe is built correctly, his burst damage is really good. And childe national is the only team that can clear abyss with all c0 4 stars and all 4 star weapons that are either craftable or fish 2 play. The only bad things about this team are the rotations and xiangling's black hole of a stomach, one bad rotation and your dmg goes down the drain.

Pls look at multiple creators, flip and jello impact are great too, all creators make mistakes at some point and this creator has made a ton, and while he does have good takes and is worth watching you have to take things with a grain of salt and think more for yourself and figure out the mechanics of the game and characters

This video is not helpful to you. Most of the characters on this list require specific teams with c4+ 4*s.
Childe is completely useless without c4 xiangling and even then you will need great artifacts while also using up 3 very contested 4* characters that have better teams.
F2P is a very bad way to categorize account progress because someone who has been f2p since launch is now way more invested than a midsized whale that started this year.
If you want advise then look at which characters your account already has and which characters (especially 4*s) are on banners.
Most of the pull value on a banner comes from a 5* being accompanied by 1 or more useful 4* that can either slot into his team or create a 2nd team with what you already have.

@@critanddam9031 You're thinking too much about the "best options". Hu Tao + Xingqiu can work alone only those two, all the rest is bonus, if you think about it. If you think like that, she is pretty f2p. She doesn't need VV vape, Sucrose can help the team's DPS with the EM buff, and Swirling Hydro, buffing Xingqiu and buffing Hu Tao's vape. If you really want, you can still do it with Bennett as shown in the video.
I just wasn't expecting for her to show up in the video in general, considering how many f2p friendly characters are out there. Hu Tao C0 main problem, in my opinion, is the stamina management, I'd say, and besides her C1, Yelan or Xianyun helps Hu Tao with that (you can use Yelan's E to not need to spend stamina to go after enemies like Maguu Kenki, and Xianyun encourages the Jump Cancel after Charged Attack). That was my reasoning.

My favourite Alhaithm team is
Alhaithm Nahida Yae Baizhu(TTDS buffer/healer build)
It pretty much competes with my furina teams. The main key here is Baizhu's A4, which massively buffs Dendro reactions likr Spread, aggrevate, and hyperbloom. At 50K HP he can buff hyperbloom damage by 100% and Aggrevate/Spread damage by 40%. On top of that if you guve him, TTDS he will buff your next active character's attack (usually Yae miko) by another 48%. Plus you can give him Deepwood artifact set to increase nahida and alhaithm's damage.
Coming to nahida she is fully on EM build, with guilded dreams set. She massive buffs elemental mastery of both Yae and Alhaithm. And both Yae and alhaithm scale with elemental mastery.
Alhaithm is also running on guilded dreams set, and I have given him wolf fang from battle pass.
Yae has R5 widsith, and she is running on 4pc golden troupe. The set gives her 75% skill damage increase. Widsith itself gives her massive buffs. On top of that baizhu gives her 48% attack buff through TTDS, and Baizhu's burst buff aggrevatereaction damage by 40%. Apart from that Nahida also give her massive elemental mastery buff, thereby increasing her elemental skill damage, and also spread reaction damage.
Always fun to watch your videos! Realistically I think this entire list should just be 1. Neuvilette and then honorable mentions for the rest of the video but that's not as good content

It takes so much more investment for him, including his stellar team to perform great and sadly Raiden will still performing the same or maybe even slightly better with his same stellar team with less investment, plus the lack of f2p polearms. He's here because of how self sustainable he is with the Marechaussee set and how easy it's for him to apply cryo and forward melt. BurnMelt and BurgeonMelt are really good teams for him. There was a time in which people would solo abyss with him.
But anyways he is still very high in the ranking. This means that when compared to the top ranks, he has his flaws. But it's not like he's that bad.

As f2p who has both Navia and Clorinde I'd switch them in this ranking.
My Navia with event weapon is doing much better in the abyss than Clorinde with Absolution. That's because I have neither Kazuha (lost on him twice) nor Furina and have only C1 Fischl.
Tbh I don't think that character who NEEDS two other 5* and C6 4* in their team to be good can be considered f2p-friendly...
The only must have thing for Clorinde is a properly built fischl and a decent dendro app. Its pretty obvious your Navia and her team is just much more invested.
im running an overload clorinde, also with absolution, with c6 fischl, c6 thoma, but only c4 chevreuse and she's outputting really solid damage

Clorinde doesn’t need Furina, I think she performs fine with a decent Fischl and good dendro application which dendro MC can provide, and even characters like Kirara work too (even if Nahida is an upgrade but that’s just Nahida being Nahida). And Sucrose is a really good alternative in Clorinde dendro teams because of the EM buff she provides so I think the teams where Clorinde performs the best are pretty cheap.

Definitely think navia should be higher. Especially since even a true f2p team of geomc bennett xiangling isnt too far off her best teams
I agree. Navia only cares about crystallize and you can team her with any PECH units with good elemental application to proc those crystals. She's way flexible and strong personal damage than Wrio who mostly relies on his teammates to buff him (plus his self-heal issue at c0)
I kind of get what TGS is saying about her weapon options not being as good without BP or gem investment, but I still have to agree that she should be higher. She's just SO strong and has such good teammates within just the 4* roster, even relying on weapons like Sacrificial or Tidal Shadow shouldn't really hold her back quite this much.

Just to give my 2 cents.
I'm F2P and have been using Ayaka to clear every recent Abyss. My team consists of Ayaka, Furina, Charlotte, and Kazuha. Before getting Kazuha, I used Sucrose and it worked fine.
The point is even without Shenhe, my Ayaka team still performs really well.

I don't agree at C0. He is slightly better than Ayaka at C1, but at C0 his charge attack and heals are a bit wonky and some healers might nott be able to help him. Idk, I don't use cryo so I might be wrong

ganyu and ayaka aren't high bar to begin with. Wrio is still mid compared to other elemental dps because of no frontload and bad aoe, just easy and simple to play but there's other units who are easy to play as well

@@sseraph777 I think I agree but also disagree for different reasons, I have been seeing lot of criticism against him, some that I agree with and some that I disagree with. I don't think he is bad but I do think he is worse than Ayaka in freeze teams, worse than other drivers in Xianling teams, cannot fully take advantage of Shenhe in mono cryo and you have hyperfridge left, again you have better drivers for that. He lacks front-loaded damage, cannot take advantage of melt reaction either, lacks good AoE and many other things. Though, I do like that he is flexible to use at least.
You can comsider adding Yoimiya.
She is one of the easiest dps to play.
She has 3 star weapon slingshot and 4 star weapon Rust.
She is single target focused but her range makes up for it.
She uses Shimenawa artifact which is to most resin efficient to farm.
She doesn't rely on her burst to do damage.
She has great synergy with meta supports like Kazuha, Yelan, Xingqiu, Zhongli, Fischl, Bennett, Sucrose, Furina, etc.
She has lots of team comps to play with~ Vape, mono pyro, melt, overvape, overload, burgeon, etc.
If you are using her with Furina, she can use 4pc Hunter set which is also extremely resin efficient.
A lot of mobile player will be helped by her simple gameplay and simple rotations.
Yet she lacks damage to remotely keep up with any of the character on the list and being her range doesn’t make up for her single target locked kit and even her single target damage is even that high to begin with

I agree with other people saying Wrio shouldn't be here, or lower than navia, wrio doesn't have a particularly good pure f2p team since bennet xl and thoma rely on constellations to let him melt properly, while navia has extremely good flexibility thanks to geo traveler being free and her last two spots being filled by any off field elemental application
i disagree with you. Wriothesley has free supports like dendro traveller for his burn melt teams. Watch it on youtube. He also has Thoma C0. Thoma buff from C6 is less than 2%. That is worse than a mid artifact roll. He also has synergy with every element except electro. Whether its hyper bloom where cryo uniqeuly helps generate more dendro cores. So synergy with dendro. Also burn. Then there is melt where he gets most of his damage. So that's pyro. There is also anemo and geo (whether its double geo or anemo vv and grouping). He has synnergy with hydro in freeze.
Navias has less synergy. Has no good reaction with any of them that would benefit the team like generating more bloom cores for hyperbloom, creating freeze etc.

i fw this list, actually almost exactly how i'd rate it; maybe a few small adjustments (i really like navia and raiden personally, so my bias would probably move them up a spot or two, but i'm also bp/welkin the last couple years so i understand the lens through which i experience the game isn't the same as f2p), but really nailed it imo
I think after 5.0 Allhatiam will be 2nd because of strongbox for sumeru domain, but i think Arle is still the 2nd for now.
But its a great video, i think you should make a 4 star/standard 5* version, because it would help a lot the new players.

Theoretically Al haitam does even more damage than Nuvilette does but in practice it is a lot closer and it is lot easier to just oonga boonga with Nuvilette and Arlecchino compared to maintaining mirrors using Alhaitam for average players.

wriothesley and clorinde have better f2p weapons. her best f2p weapons are all attack%, which is diminished by using bennett, her best teammate. and she is pretty glued to bennett so her comps are definitely not more flexible than the two you mentioned

In high investment teams, the dps are almost similar for every teams, just a difference of few milliseconds. I saw a comparison at C6R5 and the top 3 were: Arrlechino, Furina & Wriothesley. Neuvillette was at 7 or 8, i don’t remember exactly.

Lyney has a great F2P bow in Song of Stillness, and it's even better when played with Furina. I kinda agree with others Wriosthely and Nilou are questionable for this list, I'd probably swap one out for Lyney.

Dude can you share your Childe Internat sheet? I'm gonna fully admit to being a bit hypocritical about this because I haven't tried "accurately" sheeting the team myself, but I swear every KQMS calc for this team I've seen, whether on paper or on gcsim, all fall in that 45K-50K range which is just frankly ridiculous.
If you're playing the team right, you should be able to achieve ~25s rotations. At your final value of 46K DPS, that amounts to just 1.15M DPR. To say that that figure is misleadingly low is an understatement.

internat is a team that preforms better in practice than sheets as
alot of sheets are single target not accounting for aoe (hitting 2 enemys for 40k dps is better than hitting 1 for 70k)
not accounting for crit fished childe bursts
plus kqms is pretty low investment (an endgame player will do around 30% ish more damage ) what will make damage seem low, in reality internat feels better to play due to it's damage distribution (killing enemys with childes burst then going into XL's damage window)

Things that are often ignored with International that really set it apart are the frontloaded damage, extending rotations, and Xianglings potential for much higher damage through double-hit pyronado or whatever speedrunners like to call it. In bosses Xiangling's pyronado hits twice, but it's possible to do this with most other enemies with specific techniques.

As a F2P, Neuvillette is by far the best thing that happened to my account. Glad to pull him along with Kazuha.
As a f2p with lyney he does do very high dmg even at f2p investment but there is a catch. He's very back loaded as it does takes time to get max dmg with him and he's extremely squishy and is difficult to play. I still love him tho.
My first 5 was Alhaitham and he carries my abomination of a freeze/hyperbloom team. And then just got Nilou attempting to C4 Kaveh. And she’s fantastic with her bloom mechanism. It’s super fun.

Before an account has the level of investment to outpace Nilou teams with other ones it’s gonna pass a lot of time, potentially years, and still in her niche she’s a beast even with free characters and dull blade no matter what. Outside of her niche she not only can still work fine but with characters like Nahida bosses and other unfavourable scenarios can still become a joke. She hard carried me like crazy, if one unit deserves to be in this list is her, not even debatable

Why are you comparing Nilou bloom to hyperbloom? Sure they both use dendro and hydro units, but you use them in two entirely different cases. You can argue that Nuev is gonna do better than Nilou in most cases, and I think that is a valid criticism, but it isn't like Nilou does poorly.

Kokomi does do quite a large portion of the damage in monohydro, especially with Furina & Yelan & Kazuha (or Xingqiu for the hydro res shred) buffing her damage.

Kokomi is a great overall unit and good for beginners. i wouldnt say shes great in the damage department but definitely enough for open world exploration
Each of the hydro's in the Yelan variant do a little under a third of dps, with Kokomi having a slight edge. In the Xingqiu variant she does nearly 40% not a huge portion of the damage, and she is definitely someone I wouldn't put on the list, but not too far off of it either.

Clorinde, Raiden, Hu Tao and Nilou above Childe seems questionable to me, his team has consistently been clearing almost all types of content till now and still great at ST and one of the best for AoE and has pretty good vertical investment. Even going by your own sheet, with r5 Rust Childe does about the same as Xianling in the team, and that's not even his best bow. I think another vague statement about the team you made is about his weapons regarding the difference between the 4 stars and 5 stars being very huge but you overlooked that Stringless can pretty much compete against the 5* bows and even best some for burst.
I do see some counter-arguments you can make such as him being very niche and hard to play, but the argument goes for Haitham as well, he has pretty much one f2p niche and also can be hard to play with managing his mirror stacks, also more favoured for ST content. The same argument kinda also goes for Hu Tao in a way. I think Nilou is fine and debatable, Raiden now has more archetypes but still not too different from Ayato or Kokomi (such as competing with Kuki who is a four star in hyperbloom teams, competing against drivers for Xianling like Childe and Sucrose, etc.), kind of similar situation to Ayato but offers more.
Another strong point you missed for International, Nilou teams and Neuv teams is that they free up Xingqiu or any other hydro for your 2nd half, and I think that we can already acknowledge that this is a pretty good strong point for f2p teams since Xingqiu is very strong and almost majority of the top teams depend on hydro if not all, you can make so many archetypes with hydro and two of the most f2p friendly ones being national/vape and hyper bloom.
And why do the sheets look scuffed?
Only childe speedrunners can access the full potential of the team. Average player will not be able to take advantage of his frontload and his various double swirl set ups. His sustain damage is pretty weak too

The same argument can be used for against both Alhaitham and Hu Tao, the double standards are kinda insane, been hearing this for a while. You can mess up Haitham's mirror stack at times or need to figure it out (susceptible to interruption too), you can also miss the timing to get back on him after bursting and swapping. As for Arle, she just feels fragile to play but outside of that no issues, however, the same cannot be said for Hu Tao, she is not only fragile but also has difficult vv setups, while double hydro does simplify that, her playstyle at C0 doesn't lol and being ST oriented doesn't help that case for her and the team itself for AoE contents, there's no doubt that her C1 makes a huge QoL.
And I didn't get what you mean by sustain damage? His team being front-loaded rather than sustain isn't necessarily a bad thing? The abyss has a time limit, the faster you can frontload your damage, the faster you can potentially clear the wave, his team being front-loaded is one of the reasons why he has one of the best if not the best f2p speedrunning team and quite common for speedrunning, it's because it's front-loaded. Obviously I can see scenarios where sustain is also good but being front-loaded is an upside than a downside, it's the same reason why Ayaka will most of the times have faster clear time than Ganyu, front-loaded damage vs sustain but I get what you mean tho.
The major problem with Childe is he is too rotation-reliant. The difference between executing his supposed rotation and playing him casually is like heaven and hell. Other characters above him have incentive if their rotations were properly executed, yet doesn't lose too much damage if not executed well. Furthermore, the level of artifact investment that you need for Childe for f2p set up should also be considered.
@@huang8516i thought childe and Al are more like Frontloaded+Sustained damage dealer which i somewhat prefer over the likes of say more Frontloaded damage dealers or sustain damage dealers(unless if they are neuvillette.).
@@ryuuraga1619 Childe is "more" rotation reliant than others would be a better wording, I agree with that, but it's not like there are no teams that feel like that at the same level, for instance, Hu Tao's vv-set up teams. The only part I see that can be messed up is the double vv-swirl, let's say you did mess that part up, it's not like how you make it seem like heaven and hell lol, it's a Xianling + Bennett core, you're still getting swirl on one of the elements, in that scenario yes other drivers can catch up to him while being more comfortable.
The same goes for Haitham if not playing with Nahida then you cannot consistently apply deepwood with just Yaoyao or Dendro Trav if not played properly (that's -20% almost), there can be mess ups in timing when you swap off during his burst animation, there can be mess ups with mirror stacks, etc. I don't think I have to touch on Hu Tao, she is self explanatory.
As for artifact investment, I don't see where it's expensive to build the team? You farm emblem domain for Xianling, strongbox to Noblesse or Virdescent for Bennett and Kaz/Suc, slap 2pc Shime and any 2pc on Childe and you're good to go. In fact, there are much more expensive teams out there, I mean Rational asks you to get pretty much 4pc Emblem on 3 of the characters, I know how difficult that was because I've been in that situation.
Seeing some of the comments here, I feel sad for the side effects of the speedrunning community. It makes this "oh childe is actually a bad character, you need to reset alot" archetype. I do agree hes hard to play (some label his team as clunky), but thats for me is the fun of it. You can clear the abyss without him critting his ult, as long as you know how to drive xiangling properly. If you put that as "that takes too much skill, so its not F2P", then yeah hes not F2P in that context.
It's not about him being hard to play. He just has an extremely low floor and that's the opposite of being f2p friendly. Non-speedrun International has a lot of practical issues, the most blatant one being Xiangling's energy management. "You can clear the abyss without him critting his ult", yeah you can, and ? He's still more reliant on crits than most other carries. He's extremely good in low cost speedruns as you can use e.g. stringless critfish, but that's out of the scope of the video.
The whole reason International is so good is because you can adapt your rotation depending on the given chamber and skip the part where you funnel Xiangling (otherwise your DPS is actually close to the sheets aka ~45k dps) by frontloading your damage, etc. Stuff that can't be done easily by F2P players. Thus why he's not f2p friendly at all

Childe 64/95 300 EM 1.6k atk, xiangling 62/100 200EM 1.1k atk, bennett noblesse and kazuha VV. I can still clear the abyss with it, 85s + 85s + 76s. It takes a hefty amount of retries on the ASIMON tho

the Ayato, is the second or third best option in lots of good teams best in none. He probably is a great pick up for newer F2P players as he opens up a lot of teams (feels like almost every hydro team he can function well) but everyone of those teams can be upgraded by another hydro unit it feels like.

It is misconception that Xiangling is the best Pyro damage dealer. She is appreciated because she is a 4 star and the off field nature.
Any Pyro 5 star dps outdamages her.

I think Chlorinde and Navia's positions should be switched because of the following:
a. Navia is by far the best F2P Geo DPSes bar none, especially compared to Itto. Chlorinde, meanwhile, has numerous other forms of competition in the form of Raiden, Keqing, Yae and maybe Cyno but that one is more arguable. Even if Chlorinde out dpses most of her competition, her field is so saturated that she doesn't feel like a beneficial F2P pull
b. Navia takes very little effort to play and be beneficial. She doesn't need any specific team comps to work out. Chlorinde needs to move around her timing restrictions to make her teams feel comfortable.
c. While Geo is in a bad position right now, Navia's damage makes it so that she's the best pick when going against any geo shields or geo vulnerable enemies. Whereas you still have numerous ways to go around electro vulnerable enemies beyond just using Chlorinde.
d. Navia has a bigger gun
Should mention Nilou's reliance on Nahida as well

6. Nilou can't be considered top teir DPS without Nahida.

He said he was only gonna mention things like that when the 5* weren't something most people would get anyway. Nahida is a staple for accounts that care about power.
Even that time when Nahida hasn't come out yet, but the combo of DMC + Collei is just like Nahida's but not that worse. I know Nilou with Nahida is much more comfy now, but saying "reliance" on Nahida is an overstatement.
She is not 'reliant' on Nahida - Nahida is an upgrade for her (over the traveler, of all characters), which is not the same thing at all
For instance : vape and melt teams are reliant on certain characters, without whom it's impossible to make the team work (you won't have the right aura at the right time to vape or melt, etc) ; Furina teams are reliant on healers to both take advantage of her kit (and not die) ; some teams are reliant on specific characters for specific setups such as double swirls, or even on specific constellations like Bennett's C6 enabling pyro infusion. All of that is what you'd call 'reliance', it makes or breaks the team in a fundamental way
But Nilou Bloom works perfectly fine with dendro Traveler and Collei. In single target, Nahida's higher talent damage can matter, but honestly even that issue is way overblown. A team as bad in single target and as low in terms of talent damage as C0R0 Nilou - Barbara - Traveler - Collei can even beat the Wenut, which is one of the (if the one) worst cases of a time-stalling single target situation, which is basically the least ideal scenario for Nilou outside of cryo shields

The fact that Childe is there and he's not really a DPS but a driver shows how great of a unit he is. If he doesn't have the cooldown mechanic, he would probably be at number 5 or 6

well the list only has two tiers 1 neuv at the top and 2 all other carries are tied for second place within build difference.
It’s hard to make a list like this because for me units like yelan could be played as a main dps (mono hydro sigewinne) and the f2p value is just due to being able to fill main dps role and sub dps roles. I like the list, but I personally don’t use Hu Tao. I have her c0 without sig weapon and she just does okay. Compared to my c0 yoimiya on r5 rust it’s maybe like 10% worse and that’s me doing perfect jump cancels and dodge cancels. I feel like the amount of effort required in both farming artifacts and having to jump cancel every hit makes her less f2p friendly. Id say ayaka is probably more f2p friendly with craftable inazuma weapon and can work well if they didn’t nerf freeze in abyss.

Yoimiya is 20-40% worse in terms of dmg than hutao and if you dodge at the wrong time yoimiya misses vapes on her biggest hits, she's also completely single target pretty much while hutao can vape multiple enemies with her CAs and burst. Yoimiya is easier to play on something like phone though unless someone is used to mobile gaming I guess

i think Yoimiya can be part of this list. She's so underrated to be honest.
Single target locked and not even particularly good at it, heavily falls off in calculations and in practice, either you play a shield and do underwhelming damage or you don’t use one and she feels really squishy, no resistance to interruption nor damage reduction and dodging on her is a damage loss since her highest hit is the last one, dodging it interrupts her string.
Pretty much one of the worst on field units in the game as of now which is even more detrimental considering her competition which is better across the board.
One of the big deals here is how flexible their teams can be for F2P, and I will argue that Childe and Nilou have given too much credit for them enabling a niche. You will just go for them if your dedicated despite their caveats.
If the pyro archon ends up doing damage offield she can replace Xiangling, kazuha can already be replaced with Sucrose
So the team is getting less and less niche

In my opinion, you are wrong. Let me share my experience : I got Nilou back when I was still unable to beat the abyss (I had never 36 starred it, only 34 or 35 on 1 or 2 occasions after an ungodly amount of resets despite having Yelan, Raiden, and Nahida on my account), and I was literally able to 36* the very day I got her
- She was incredibly easy to build - it took me about a week to farm her artifacts, so even if I hadn't done it in advance I would still have been able to 36* during the same patch regardless
- Her teammates were all free or obtainable through the shop / lantern rite (I had to use Nahida+Yelan hyperbloom on the other side to 36*, so my team was either Nilou - Xingqiu - dendro Traveler - Yaoyao, or Nilou - Barbara - dendro Traveler - Collei)
- Everyone else on her team had pretty mid, if not downright horrible builds, but said team still had far faster clear times than any of my other teams at the time
Before getting her, I was not sure if she'd actually help me in terms of beating the abyss - after all, the other limited 5* I had gotten were very strong meta picks, but they had let's say, disappointing perfomances considering how much they were hyped up (which makes sense in hindsight, the state of my account made it difficult for them to shine, with the exception of Nahida who really helped me). But once I had her, I was blown away. To the point where it really made me reconsider my understanding of what makes characters/teams strong, and even what I wanted to do with my account going forward. If I had pulled for any other character, I can fully guarantee I would NOT have been able to 36*, and at this pace, it would have taken me a couple more patches to do it. Which is not that bad tbh, no one should be pressured to 36* asap since everyone will end up doing it eventually, so I definitely could have been a bit more patient - but it does tell us something about how strong she is at F2P investment compared to other characters
Think about it - if she's one of your first limited 5*, you'll most likely end up playing her with Barbara, the Traveler, and Collei. Are these characters needed in like, ANY other team ? No ! You're actively helping your second team by making use of these characters - who are all free. In my case I could use Xingqiu on the other side (for double hydro hyperbloom), and once I had farmed slightly better artifcats, I also started using Raiden national, solely because Nilou didn't need any of the powerful 4* characters who make up that team. Before Nilou, I had to use my hyperbloom team without Xingqiu for example, so that I could spare him for Raiden national. Also, since I wasn't a veteran player, my artifacts were pretty damn bad, and in a team like Raiden national where all of the damage is talent damage, it simply did not have high enough dps, so having a powerful team like Nilou Bloom clearing one side well under 90s gave my second team a lot more room. For instance, I went from needing about 2 minutes for each side (on average), which obviously is too long to 36*, to clearing in less than a 1 minute with my f2p Nilou team, and about 90 to 100s with my second team (since my hyperbloom team could clear faster than before by replacing whatever shitty flex slot I had to use with Xingqiu)
(as a sidenote, this comes from someone who wasn't even really F2P anymore, as I had spent money to get Yelan's C2 and sig weapon, but as it turns out, that did not allow me to clear, not even close - although it was still a good investment in the long run)
I am a complete F2P, playing Genshin for about 1.5 years. I decided to get C1 Furina just because of this awful Spiral Abyss we got now, since I also have all the characters I wanted, so the first criterion is somewhat flexible (now, I think having a "critical" C1 is still fine for F2Ps, granted you can even get double 5* within a single 10-pull). As for the characters, I have not yet mastered Clorinde, nor did I get the Whimsy artifact set for her yet, and with Finale of the Deep R5 and Gladiator set, her bes team unfortunately requires Nahida/Kazuha/Fischl, so in the current abyss, where the second half requires me to use a Mono Hydro team, I could only try her with Chevreuse/Thoma/Fischl on the first half, and it was a disaster for me, it is too clunky. C0 Alhaitham is best for me here, and I use him with Harbinger of Dawn all the time, with Kuki and Xingqiu (and Nahida this time). He is amazing, just I should always bear in mind the rotation, so as to have both hydro and electro application all the time. I do have access to Arlecchino, C0 with White Tassel R5, and she is not that strong/easy to play. Same as C0 Hu Tao with Dragon's Bane, although Hu Tao is even worse to play. I do not have Neuvillette, and pray Natlan releases a better character, or else, I will have to pull for him and his C1, else, I just hate his lack of interruption resistance that averted me a lot from this character while testing him out. Raiden does not heal, so I use Kuki in my Hyperbloom teams (Baizhu could solve the issue, but I did not pull for Baizhu).
Now I'm not going to complain because this list seems great and fair. But did he just forget Ayaka? She wasn't even in the honourable mentions. You're not going to convince me that Ayato and kokomi are better dps than her.
yeah try playing ayaka when enemies have either 50% resistance to freeze (consecrated beasts) or cannot be freezed at all (all the single wave chambers with bosses) or have high resistance to cryo (coppelia) imo not worth to even mention her because hoyo has been hating freeze teams for quite a while

After listening up to the end of Alhaitham's entry, I feel like his entry for some reason is the only one where you've placed him based on his team rather than himself? As a DPS, Arlecchino far surpasses him and it's not even close, even if his team can compete with hers. I personally feel like for Alhaitham's ranking specifically, you're not judging him by his value specifically and instead giving him second place because he has the best hyperbloom team.

I feel like not including characters that need Faruzan or Chev, but including Furina variants for characters that don't actually run her often has the same level of impracticality.
Usage rate isn't good for telling a unit's overall strength but it can be a good look into the f2p mindset. Alhaitham only appearing in Furina's 26th most popular team compared to Neuv's #1, Xiao's #5, Clorinde's #6, or Hu tao's 11th. Should be a good indicator that most f2p don't view the pairing as high priority and I think it boosted him quite a bit here.
That doesn't decrease the value of the pairing in my eyes. Usage rates rate those chars low with furina because players mostly use her with Neuvillette, but the potential is there and the choice is yours

As much as i am a 4* fanboy, often preferring and rallying behind them as they usually get more forgotten regardless of everything else, the fact is getting a 4* is pain in this game. It often can cost the same as C2 on a 5* to secure a C6 of a 4*

for childe its better stringless sience charge atk are very important for childe personal dmg, and stringless can oneshot the first wave easy or phase a boss very quickly like kenki, so im practice stringless gonna be a much better option

Top 4 I agree. Lower 6... It's not that I disagree, it's that in my opinion they are significantly worse for a new-ish f2p player than the top 4. The list should be like 5 characters long, but the video would probably be too short.
This list was meant to accommodate popular characters, there's different metrics for different characters to justify their placement here.
Tighnari should be there, his cons isn't bad and you probably get to c2-c4 after playing the game several years, with Cons he will be on par or even beat the above teams mentioned. Unlike the other standard 5* dps which their cons doesn't really improve much excluding c6 dehya I guess.

Im sorry but till now i never get Tighnari and let alone mona for 3 years. I play when inazuma patch 2.0 ah no, when kazuha drop. Because kazuha is my first 5* 1.6 (?) till today i never get Mona let alone Tighnari. And to say you should have c2-3 Tighnari kinda asking alot.

Tignari does about 500k-400k per rotation which is about 20k-25k dps, he also fails to mention that in alhaitham teams kuki does more damage and in spread alhaitham also only does about 50% of the teams dps. Then adding on the fact that you can add more offensive units with tignari he simply outscales alhaitham in single target.
im sure mualani will be as f2p friendly as neuvillette since they have similar build
