  • IBIS camera stabilization can only do so much without warping the background. The best stabilization is when the camera is physically held in 3D space mechanically. Get it right the first time so you don't spend hours trying to fix something with software on your computer. Here are the items featured in the video. See MarkusPixFreebies.com for what is being given away and the rules.

    I don't understand why Markus doesn't grow subscribers faster, he teaches what he loves for free also does giveaways all the time!

    • @evilgeniusentertainment
      @evilgeniusentertainment 3 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      Yeah, I love him. The give-aways are awesome of course, but he's also very good at explaining in layman's terms the technical specs of whatever he's talking about. I loved his ep on old video cameras (like the VG20 & LS300) still being viable.

      Marcus is a legend. As someone who does video and photo for a a living I don’t agree with everything he says (I shoot very different stuff than he does) but I think his information is always valuable and worth tucking into the back of your mind. It’s amazing that he shares his decades of experience with young guys like us for free. Keep on killing it.

    It's not the stabilization that I'm interested when it comes to a gimbal, but the aesthetic that it gives when you pivot the camera if that makes sense. That slow turn is just beautiful.

      That is so cool. I am in charge of the computer introduction for our student at work, 1400 of them at University level. For the second year now i try to show a little what is possible on video editing with free software, DaVinci Resolve. This year's computer introdution (virtual due to the times now) actually contains the Velociraptor Blue (Fallen Kingdom). That entire movie was made in the paid version version of DaVinci.

I just watched one of your videos on lighting and instead of trying to get us to buy sandbags, you presented a brilliantly simple solution of filling shopping bags with rocks, dirt or sand. This is the kind of stuff us beginners need. Thanks a million!
