      I built something similar (without the bottom battery for balance) using the Zhyun Weebil with the Davin Glidecam. What I found was that while the up-down motion is reduced it wasn't completely removed.

      @@OUCGN For longer shoots, the Easyrig I would say. But for scenes that ask for more precise movements and shots, I would get this combo. I really haven't tried either, as I have just the RS2.

    By far my favorite version of this rig, I’ve seen it referred as the minity as in mini trinity but the control and power options you get from this rig are amazing! Def subscribed!

    Awesone video. I've built something similar with the Proaim Vest and stabilizer, putting the RS2 on top of it. Your comment about propper balancing the whole set on a pole before shooting is absolutely true. Anyay, starting with this setup is not as easy as anticipated - there is a steep learning curve, and I also got much attracted by using it without the RS2, i.e. like a true steadicam.
    The movements you can create with this combination are awesome - no need anymore for a slider or so.

    Adam this is amazing thanks for sharing! Was really interested in the power option - my biggest frustration is the loss of the power outputs on the original ronin-s that I used to power the bmpcc4k. Would you mind sharing a little on how exactly you modified the baseplate in order to get that output?!

      I'm wondering the same thing, I was thinking on the meantime getting a dtap splitter to be mounted on the top, connected down with a dtap extension, then simply going dtap to universal ronin plate, and a dtap to bmpcc6k cable, but i'm not very sure if it can handle it

      no problem with the monitor, you can put it directly on the hand grip or on a spring arm. Honestly, I forgot to mention it in the video :)

      in this version everything is unchanged, except for the additional monitor that I sometimes use. I will make a video about it soon !! 💪
