Keep them coming!! Great Vids...
Outstanding explanations on all your current videos. Keep them coming. Thanks
I appreciate that. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the tips. Can always learn more. So pumped for this season!
Not a problem! Neither can I!
Love the videos man. Packed with information. I've fished for a while but always learning from you. Appreciate the knowledge man.
Thanks for that man, I appreciate it. I’m glad you’re getting some thing out of them! I appreciate the support!!
@@GetReelBassFishing i took marine biology years ago and i remember the teacher saying bass see in the red to purple color spectrum. that's why red works so well. i make my own lures and dye my own tails. red purple and black work great for me with bass. i think i have over 40 molds now.. i have fluxed soft lead for sale if you need any 2.50 a lb. i want to get a lath so i can make wood plugs faster and more accurate then carving by hand. after the slot was introduced i havent been out as much. but during fluke season im out everyday.
You only fish on your days off? That’s why you’re not catching the big cows. Bob the Garbageman worked 8 hours and soaked a chunk for 16.
I watched this video while cooking 🧑🍳 in the kitchen. I heard the part when you said to count to 3 seconds to allow sinkage of bucktail in my case I used a swimbait in the moving current back bay few hours after watching this video. It worked I hooked 2 fish within the first 10 casts before water became rough swells. Thank you.. just wanted to share ..
Great video as always I’ve been following you and Erica since your beginnings. My son has a place in the springs and we are out there a lot hoping to run into Erica and you at some point we love to fish as a family like you guys and I hope your little ones and your parentsare all in good health God bless you😊
Enjoying and learning from your videos. And I'm on the West Coast!
That’s awesome!! Thanks! That’s good to hear!
You’re the best bro.. thanks 🙏
Thanks 🙏🏼
Great video. Thanks
Thank you!
nice video as always
Thank you! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Love these post notifications 🔔.
Thanks man! 🙌🏼👏🏼
Does this work for fresh water striper?
I have a question about the trophy 2 im torn between medium and medium heavy. I want to be able to feel the 3/4 bucktails and still throw 2 3/8 super strikes but i worry the 1-5 on the medium heavy is going to be too stiff
I'm not a fan of the trophy 2 broke 2 in one week I prefer the airwave and airwave elite is even better!!!
What poundage leaders are you using for the smaller (1/4oz-1/2oz) jigs? What knots do you use on the braid to leaders?
Usually 12-20 depending on the area that I’m fishing. But no more then 20 ever. Either mono or flouro. I switched between a uni-to-uni or an FG knot.
What about for the main line? 20lb? Just tryna cast em as far as I can haha. Awesome vid!
Do you ever fish a Bucktail with the line tying loop on the nose and not on the top of the Bucktail
Not really. That’s more of a swim jig type presentation where you’re pulling it and swimming it to you steadily
What is a bucktail?
deer tail
The white and red lure in the picture of the vid
Jig head wrapped with deer hair from a bucks tail the white part!
Why the smiling bucktails?
So how do i fish a bucktail ? Jk great video
Haha thanks!
S&S Jigs or nothing
Your content is good. But you have to sharpen up your delivery and knowledge of what you’re presenting.
A lot of guessing going on.
It’s hilarious watching people over analyze fishing techniques.
We’re not talking rocket appliance here guys, it’s a stupid fish after all.
You spend a lot of time in your videos talking about rod action “medium fast” “medium light” etc….it’s bizarre….You realize lure and line rating are usually more important than rod action when deciding what lure to throw/rod to use, no? You’re not going to throw a 1/4oz bucktail on a rod that’s rated 3 to 5oz just because it’s got a certain relatively meaningless action attributed to it by the manufacturer….at least I hope not.
Right.. 1-3oz u gotta use a HEAVY rod not no medium, medium heavy...
That’s not entirely true rod action does make a great deal when bucktailing as well as the line your using. They are hand in hand. It’s not all about line or rod action. Don’t think you know everything 😂
ahh yes the random youtuber that has no content on fishing trying to critique someone that does this everyday... makes sense
Fast actions is ideal for light lures? The tip is what preloads the initial cast.
