    *A great vacuum💯 for the price. The suction is awesome **MyBest.Tools** excellent for pet hair. The beater attachment works great on the stairs. Not too heavy and easily maneuvered.🤨*

    The Roomba i7+ is a must for pet owners🌼 This thing covers the whole house, going back to the base for recharging if necessary before completing the job. The self-emptying feature is great and the brushes don't accumulate any hair or debris. In the six months I've owned it, the only maintenance has been on the filter (banged it clean three times and replaced once) and replacing the full bag once. I run it at least 3 times a week and it is a game changer for a household with 5 cats and 3 dogs. I don't have wall-to-wall carpeting, so I can't speak to its effectiveness there, but it does a great job on hardwood and area rugs.

    been looking at a ton of reviews first one to see how they do with cords thank you

    I would love to see it run over cords that are plugged in the wall. To see if it would keep moving or suck them along. Thank you very much for this.

    great video! I own a 4 bedroom airbnb with frequent turnover and do tons of vacuuming with my S9. It always get stuck on cords, candy wrappers and other stuff guests leave under beds :( !!!!I love the self emptying feature, but I need a vacuum with better cord/object detection system.

      The Roborock despite not having a self emptying bin has one of the best cord anti tangle abilities. Currently there no commercially available robot vacuum that can truly avoid these objects.

    It tried to suck up the cord, but it can’t because it isn’t flexible enough and therefore won’t get into the bin
    What about a test with a bunch of toys on the carpet (such as legos, neef darts, toy cars, etc.) and see if they will get stuck.

    I7 just takes the charging cord, is like: "I own dis now, now I can charge my phone to call the rest of the gang to have a house party"
    2:45 the I7 and S9: "fist bump bro! we gonna have a party with the rest of the gang!"

  • @connieboree4724
    @connieboree4724 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm not sure I understand your point here. The main purpose for the changes from the i7 to the s9 is so that it has more power. The s9 is has significantly more power than the i7. It seems that you're comparing apples to oranges due to the power difference.

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think there are more than IR sensors what you are seeing is the IR light that is invisible to human eye, but not to the camera sensor so you see it in the video.

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The flashing light in the video is the new 3D sensor they only added to the s9. The i7 has the old infrared sensor

    • @danielsv17
      @danielsv17 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RobotMasters wooo that sounds intersting. So how does this new sensor help the robot? Do you know more about this sensor?

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@danielsv17 Yeah the 3D sensor sends out two planes of light, a top and bottom. If one of those planes are broken by the object the sensor detects, the robot can tell in 3D the rough distance from the object.. Its like a stationary lidar system but in a simpler form. Like the lidar system if it knows two angles it can determine a rough calculated distance, basic trig.. 😋

    Well, idk what to do. My brand new i7+ with updated firmware is running over cables and even ran over the top of my back massage stick and dragged it all over the place. WTF! 🤣
    I thought this thing was supposed to avoid stuff. BTW, my place is not a clutter. Think OCD and Feng shui and that’s a mental image of what my place looks like. Everything has a place and there is only one cord on the floor under a cabinet. Which, I have now secured to the back of the cabinet. As for the massage stick, it’s in the closet. I forgot it was under my bed.

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      LOL 😂 sounds like your place is pretty Tidy and Orderly 😁. Wish my home was like that!!! Anyways in the app you can set the no go zones if you are worried about the Roomba eating your massage stick!!! Hope everything else about the i7+ is working well!!!

    Robot masters please tell me what robot is the best choice right now for long hair and wooden floor. S9, i7, D7 neato, S6?
    I have 66m2 apartment, my wife's long hair is all over the aparent and our floor is from wood. I have a dilema regarding the best choice. Money isn't a problem

    • @RobotMasters

      Probably the Roomba s9 or i7 for best performance and pet hair pickup.

  • @iamdenislara

    To be fair the s9 didn’t “give up” it has longer brushes and more sucking power so it took in the cable. I speaks to the cleaning power of the s9!

    which do
    you recommend for a first time buyer s9 or i7 im confused on picking one?

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So it depends on your type of environment. The s9 can deep clean carpet better due the dual extractors sitting lower to the ground and having a higher airflow. The s9 also offers 3 power modes and is a different shape, which can help with corners. The i7 a good all around robot vacuum, is cheaper, has all the smart mapping features of the s9. Both models offer a self emptying bin. So I would start with the i7, most people including myself like the performance and cleaning ability.

      Robot Masters how about in a small apartment with wood floors? is the s9 huge than i7? and i needed something that cleans pet hairs good have 2 long haired cats... thanks for the reply by the way ^^

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@alvipearlsilvido2788 The i7 would be the better choice, both do really well with pet hair, but since you are mostly hardwood floors the additional airflow from the s9 not necessary.
