I wouldn't be too set on a full feature film about the SCP universe simply because it is not complete. In concept, SCP is a collection of many interesting creative stories made by internet writers about anomalous objects or creatures. To turn it into a full film is simply improbable, we do not have a set canon, we do not know where every facility is located at or how they even look. Closest we get are from games such as SCP: CB. But what we do know is what it probably could be. And enter the fan games, the short films, the animations on TH-cam and the readings. We simply don't have enough of a foundation to build upon yet. We would need a canon. A true canon.

I feel like the real scp 001 is humanity itself. Humans are the only things that have stopped the world from being destroyed multiple times, and have contained or stopped all (or at least most) other scps. While there are many powerfull scps, humanity has beaten, or at the very least, survived them all.

Until the secrets are revealed, The foundation personnel only believe. Because who knows what the true nature of the foundation is.
Most if the time I do not leave comments pertaining to the content of the videos. I am usually just content just listening to the stories. However as a writer myself, I would be remiss If I did not commend you, or whoever the author of this particular piece of literature mat be. It's my own personal experience as an author myself, that I rarely encounter a sense passion depicted that truly makes me feel an emotional connection that whatever that may be. That keeps me coming back for more insight into what makes a great writer, that in a lot of different ways encourages myself, also I am sure countless others to so the world about themselves fundamentally different. A lot of the foundation tales are contradictory. The one pertaining to the Factory, while still very well written contradicts with my personal preferred theory: According to the Serpent's Hand the foundation, or at least a parent group of it has been active since at least the 14th century.
After this video, I’m going with my Ancient Humanity head canon. Basically, Humanity was once an incredibly powerful race of beings. However, do to their warlike nature and destructive capabilities, the Gods feared they would wreak havoc on the natural order of things and waged war on them. It wasn’t until the governing entities of the multiverse cast them down and devolved them to an incredibly primitive point, that war came to a close. Human artifacts were either hidden far away or destroyed. And the Gods took their last remaining creations and unleashed them upon mankind. However, in the modern day, some humans are starting to retain the traits of their ancestors. This had led to the creation of anomalous artifacts, or anomalous humans being born.
This is my favorite explanation for the existence of anomalies. That there is no explanation and there is no why and that anomalies exist just because.

Because, how would a normal person react to such beings like reality benders, who can make your skin become solid lead, Or a creature that, if you look upon any picture or drawing of its face, it will come to kill you. or a creature with such a hate for humanity, it is kept in a vat of highly acidic acid, and yet it will never die, only hoping to escape and kill many, many humans. Because the anomalies only really started appearing after WW2. There are one or two from before, but 99 per cent are from the 1950s onwards, with most of them being in the 1990s and 2000s. The anomalies are recent. And BTW SCP 001 is the horror writers who produce the SCPs. They became self aware and know the monsters come from a group of horror writers but no one is allowed to know that ever.
This stuff is quite helpful. The SCP top heads understand that all SCPs are basically the common thing of the universe, the weird things are part of normalcy. This reminds me that all the shit I could be going through is normal, it can kill me or it can be contained, I just have to worry a little bit less about everything.

However as a writer myself, I would be remiss If I did not commend you, or whoever the author of this particular piece of literature mat be. It's my own personal experience as an author myself, that I rarely encounter a sense passion depicted that truly makes me feel an emotional connection that whatever that may be. That keeps me coming back for more insight into what makes a great writer, that in a lot of different ways encourages myself, also I am sure countless others to so the world about themselves fundamentally different. This has always been my own personal goal as a writer myself. BRAVO!!! TY for being so much VALUE to so many of us that struggle with getting our thoughts down on paper in black and white. A lot of the foundation tales are contradictory. The one pertaining to the Factory, while still very well written contradicts with my personal preferred theory: According to the Serpent's Hand the foundation, or at least a parent group of it has been active since at least the 14th century.

After this video, I’m going with my Ancient Humanity head canon.
Basically, Humanity was once an incredibly powerful race of beings. However, do to their warlike nature and destructive capabilities, the Gods feared they would wreak havoc on the natural order of things and waged war on them. It wasn’t until the governing entities of the multiverse cast them down and devolved them to an incredibly primitive point, that war came to a close. Human artifacts were either hidden far away or destroyed. And the Gods took their last remaining creations and unleashed them upon mankind.
However, in the modern day, some humans are starting to retain the traits of their ancestors. This had led to the creation of anomalous artifacts, or anomalous humans being born.

This is my favorite explanation for the existence of anomalies. That there is no explanation and there is no why and that anomalies exist just because.

If scp's were here from the very beginning and containing them doesn't seem to be stopping anyting. Why hide it from The General population when it would be better to know and adapt to such a world.
Because, how would a normal person react to such beings like reality benders, who can make your skin become solid lead, Or a creature that, if you look upon any picture or drawing of its face, it will come to kill you. or a creature with such a hate for humanity, it is kept in a vat of highly acidic acid, and yet it will never die, only hoping to escape and kill many, many humans.
The task forces, scientists, doctors, and O-5 members are all accustomed to this. to them, the SCP's are nothing more then their job. But to normal people, these beings are nightmares, monsters waiting to swallow us whole
Because the anomalies only really started appearing after WW2. There are one or two from before, but 99 per cent are from the 1950s onwards, with most of them being in the 1990s and 2000s. The anomalies are recent. And BTW SCP 001 is the horror writers who produce the SCPs. They became self aware and know the monsters come from a group of horror writers but no one is allowed to know that ever.

This stuff is quite helpful. The SCP top heads understand that all SCPs are basically the common thing of the universe, the weird things are part of normalcy. This reminds me that all the shit I could be going through is normal, it can kill me or it can be contained, I just have to worry a little bit less about everything.
