Why I like your channel: 1. You seem genuine and honest 2. Your titles are usually not click bait (a big plus on youtube these days) 3. Really helpful and useful tips 4. Taking your research seriously, citing sources and experimental ways to find out stuff in the game 5. Team Instinct Keep up the good work!
1000 subs without video Challenge I also think he never clickbaited, but I couldn't say for sure, and I wasn't going to look thorough all of his video titles :D
Dam Nick! You forgot about Caterpie! This little guy will take down a Magikarp in no time and give you some easy 1000 Xp for your gym. He will give you a level 10 gym in less than 30 minutes. I don't know anything more OP than that.
i love how you do the titorials at the begining bruh and then start your vlogs ur like the only dude on youtube that does this just for that u get my sub man haha 👐 thank you
I've caught some pretty strong Ratticates, Pidgeots, and Parasects in the wild (1000+ CP) so I am definitely keeping those. You never know when they might come in handy as an extra in battle.
Never Lucky I caught like an 800 weeping bell, almost 1000 Seaking and Jinx, and some other ones. IVs are usually not great but they can be useful as a 6th in battle.
im sorry for not knowing your name dude but I have to say, thank you. this channel has been really helpful to me, basically everything I know about pokemon go came from your channel. so once again thank you!
what I like about this channel is how you make the camera transition from one to another. Only in your channel I've seen this style of editing and I'm really impressed. Good job Nick
Parasect furrycutter/solarbeam or bugbite/solar beam and both good furrycutter is a much faster attack and like nick said helps you build up your solarbeam Bar. SO furrycutter is just for the ulti move.
Yes agreed. My 1k high iv Sandslash took 2 Jolteon 1600cp still had half health, took out a 1800 electabuzz and a 1900 arcanine. Super effective little bulldoser. only water pokemon seem to dodge super effective type moves,, also Tangela is quite effective despite his lower CP if you get a 1k with vine whip and solarbeam they can deal decent damage, not gonna win/survive any battles but have done some serious damage to Snorlax, dragonites
You're the only channel I subscribe to on TH-cam. Yes it was originally for the Pokemon Go tips, but I watch every day to see an honest man share his life and knowledge to his fellow man. Thanks for everything you do! I wish you all the best!
Should I power up my current Parasect which also dominates which has good IVs and Bug Bite and Solar Beam? Or evolve another one and see if it gets fury cutter?
Actually looking over the data, Bug Bite charges energy very slightly faster than Fury Cutter, so Bug Bite/Solar Beam is the better choice. The difference in animation time is very small as well, so Bug Bite is still a very fast attack.
+Moiz iqbal he's said countless times in videos that he's fillipino, he goes to asain restaurants with his asian girlfriend alllll the time and to asian barbers. It's pretty self explantory
I am a Brazilian woman, an aunt (31 years) LOL. I enjoy games since "forever" and i have seen several generations of this type of content. I greatly appreciate your videos, they have no hype, no flashy graphics, well edited, they are accurate and easy to watch and listen. You are very talented and it makes a successful work! Congratulations!
Thats the difference between this channel and other channels. He puts insane effort into all his videos, takes the time to make the videos look aesthetically pleasing, and thinks about what his audience thinks. Thanks Trainer Tips for you tips, and your documentary style videos!
No. This is not true. I use slowbro with icebeam vs dragonites and it says not effective. It seems Dragon types are weak vs ice attacks but not from slowbro.
That is so awesome that the channel grew so quickly! Not surprised though because this is one of the only channels that never click baits and always provides the information we need. Keep it up Nick!
The reason we all like you so much is because we're used to TH-camrs coming across as really artificial and desperate for laughs and subscribers, and you don't have that. You seem really genuine and you don't seem to feel the need to prove yourself in any way to anyone. You're sincere, you're passionate, and you're positive, and that's why none of us can stop watching.
This is the best kind of insight one can ask for. Asides from yours being the best content on internet. Like always, thank you. I would love a "counterpart" being which sleeper Pokémon have great movesets to defend against weakness, like Pidgeot with Steel wing vs rock, Poliwrath with Ice Beam vs plant, etc. Hype for tomorrow's video :D
Best moveset and good for lapras too. Not a type advantage to attack but lapras is not effective to fire. I find exeggutors harder to kill when they have a psychic move.
+Hotdog718 yeah I'm pretty sure Jolteon got snubbed at the first update along with Vaporeon etc. , sucks because Jolteon used to SMASH all water pokemon lol I think is defense went wayyy down
This is a first... You said VLOG in bold! That's so awesome! You did a flashy thumbnail and really explained it well and then you informed us it is also a vlog. Love ur honesty man. Also good job on the keynote!
My favorite part of your videos is that your videos take place outside or when you're out and about. It's also fitting since your videos are about a game that wants you to go outside and wants to sell a sense of adventure.
why does he go for a curve ball bonus when a great throw or an excellent throw would be much better in terms of xp as in 5 to 10 times better and getting a curveball bonus doesn't even require you to spin the pokeball till it sparkles. i have noticed that just hitting the pokemon just a little off center from the circle will give the bonus xp
i remember when this channel didn't have even 50000 subs and now look at it this channel has grown like you haven't believe. I have watched every single one of your videos. Since I started following this channel i went from level 7 to 21 and all my top six pokemon are over 1500 so thank you for the tips and tricks
Should be roughly 850 CP if you evolve it. I've got a couple of them and the CP is very rarely higher than 800 tbh. Plus if you don't get the ideal move set it's other moves are crap.
+? ? I'm level 22 and I don't tend to power up Pokemon, I have like 200,000 stardust so the ones I've seen are about 450-800 cp but there move sets are crappy most the time if it's not the best one anyway,
Holy shit. my mind is blown. I've seen him in Nick's videos a few times but it never clicked.. and here I am Rewatching Korra ... I'm ashamed. I'll commit sudoku now
in terms of someone asking abot how to use the symbols, it depends on the phone you have c: if you have an android, it should have this smiley emoji and you click on that and it should give you the symbols!
Yep. I haven't seen a single Tangela nor have I hatched one in the 2 months of Pokemon GO I've been playing (about 3-4 hours a day, around 7 during weekends)
I have a few 2 caught wild and one hatched. but in Midwest we see a lot of grass. actually we get a pretty diverse group but just not a lot of them sometimed
just wanted to let you know I am a daily watcher, I live in Indiana and your tips have helped me be a better player and to overall enjoy the game more. I hope you keep it up and continue helping everyone become a Pokémon master.
Hands down this episode has helped me level gyms the most. Pidgeot killing it for me even though I don't have the perfect move set. Need more tips like this. I'd love some kind of comprehensive chart that lays all this out.
Completely unrelated to the video, but I have one small request for Niantic ... when you click on one of your Pokémon and it has them at the top with all their stats and what not, when you touch the Pokémon it makes an awful, digital cry. WHY CAN'T THEY SAY THEIR NAMES LIKE IN THE SHOW??? Bums me out every damn time. 😑
Woooooooossssshhhh yep you totally missed the point of the vid there lol. he is pointing out the ones people don't really think about or use giving people more choices.
Your comments are overwhelmingly positive? Idk nick, I feel like your comments are overwhelmingly bots spamming "working free coins" and kids who realised they can get infinite likes by saying "where's team ____ at" or "like or never catch a rare again".
+GregTom2 a lot of people say how much they love this channel and how it's never click bait, "first" comments are everywhere, bots are everywhere and team _____ are on all Pokemon go channels. He doesn't affect that, the comments he speaks of are people saying "never change"
You're a damn good kid. It puts a smile on my face to think that this channel is only the beginning of your career. All the best dude, looking forward to the next video.
I believe the main reasons for the channel success is the location of being in so cal and the diffrent places in so cal nick takes the viewers, his vast knowledge of Pokemon of course but also he is super well spoken which makes it very easy to understand what he is talking about...I myself am a 35 y/o trucker who lives near dtlb an gets embarrassed to play in public... Nick has shown me just be your self ...
You're awesome nick! That's cool that you work with other youtubers. Your channel is extremely well researched and well done. Keep up the good work. This is the only channel you need to follow for honest Pokemon go news and insightful advice
I'm sure you get this a lot but I need to point it out anyways - I absolutely adore your style of recording! Everything from the 'camera-roll' cuts, to the cinematic placement of a lot of your shots, to the variety of different 'non digital' techniques you utilize for added dramatization - it's all beautiful and impresses me each & every time. One unique example from this video is when you open your trunk to store some stuff whilst the camera is already positioned inside and recording; although extremely simplistic, it's your very own version of 'movie magic' and it definitely works wonderfully. [:=
Question for Sunday Q&A: Who produces the music you use in your videos! It's a great combination of 8bit sound with a fresh feel! I would definitely listen to a trainer tips soundtrack
I'm obsessed with your vids. They are actually helpful and not just clickbait btw this might be weird but.. i love the camera flip things that you do haha
The 2 main reasons why your channel grew so fast: 1. You cover a very hot topic (PokemonGo) 2. You capture what people people always yearn for. Traveling.
I don't know if you intended to do it, but that first cut where you get in your car was amazing. It's a small thing, but the flipping camera was very cool!
It's so crazy to me how you and Dante are cousins and how often he's in your videos because I was a huge Avatar fan growing up, and Zuko was my favorite character. Every time he speaks I'm immediately flushed with childhood nostalgia... Crazy stuff haha
2:38 nick, exeggutor doesnt have any grass type fast move(only psychic type fast move, which is confusion and zen headbutt), which means theres no exeggutor with Both grass type move. So every exeggutor will deal super effective dmg to venomoth with its fast move.
Love the videos! Only criticism is that Exeggutor always has at least one psychic move as it's two quick attacks are either Confusion or Zen Headbutt so, like you said, Venomoth is super effective but usually it will still will lose to an Exeggutor unless you're a dodging pro. Favorite underrated trainers: - Parasect (w/ Fury Cutter & Solar Beam) - Wigglytuff (w/ Pound & Play Rough/Hyper Beam) - Kabutops (w/ Mud Shot & Stone Edge) - Sandslash (w/ Mud Shot & Earthquake) - Marowak (w/ Mud Slap & Earthquake) - Seadra (several different effective move sets)
A few personal picks for me. These pokemon are rare wild, but very common to evolve. Hypno: Most places have extremely common drowzee spawns, and evolving a hypno has a suprisingly good multiplier. Insanely underrated, and psyshock is a good move. Clefairy: Clefairy is very good, and as a fairy type, has decent counter attacks to some of the elite types. Getting a special move like dazzling gleam or fairy blast will do great damage in battle. Jolteon: To me, Jolteon is criminally underrated. With an extremely fast attack speed, it can swift through health if other pokemon, and is an astounding counter to water pokemon, which are very common in gyms.
you should explain how team battles work at gyms. (multiple people attacking at the same time) - how much damage it deals to defender and how late entrants to the fight die instantly
I liked this one. An interesting topic. Pinsir are common in Taipei so I have one with 97% IVs to take on Execcutors. X-sissor isn't usually considered its best attack but combine with furry cutter and he is great at taking down grass and psychic types.
I found great success with Slowpoke (with water gun) and low level Wigglytuff when boosting prestige in my teams gyms, they work well because of their high HP against Flareon (that I see tons of around here) and can usually win at less then 1/2 CP fights.
I love your comment about how your own positive attitude is one of the main reasons why you get positive reviews, because I really agree with that. You don't give people a reason to feel negative after watching your videos - you don't click-bait, you don't make up random crap just to sound cool, you always give credit to others when it's needed, you show your work, you don't insult people, you're not annoying, etc. So there's just really nothing to be negative about.
I noticed that Pidgeot was pretty good. Started using him more often. I'll throw him in a gym from time to time too. Usually trying to break up the monotony of all the Evee evolves.
Well. A little note. Scyther with Furry cutter and no matter what charge move is extremely good against Exeguttor (X-scissors is a bug move which so it's good against grass, Night slash is dark type move, which works against psychic). So any Scyther with Furry cutter as quick attack is able to destroy Exeguttor with ease.
Another great video man. I agree with everything you guys were saying on stage that your knowledge, editing, honesty and positivity have made your channel and videos far better than other Pokemon channels. Keep it up bro!
Hey Nick, you cannot have an exeggutor with both grass type move. They can have zen headbutt or confusion as their quick attack. So venomoth with take extra damage regardless.
Raichu. It's an electric type and its the best electric type in the game. i will be doing a video on the best pokemon for taking on each type of pokemon so be sure to look out for that if you are subscribed! if you aren't then you should!
I have a Pidgeot that has Wing Attack and Hurricane, but if you use the in game appraisal Blanche says that pokemon won't make much headway in battle which sucks.
Big fan of Eeevee's for 3 reasons. 1) They are fairly common. 2) Evolving them as a 2 form is cheap (25 candy versus 50). 3) The evolutions give you access to 3 different effective typings. Since the meta is water Jolteon is a great attacker. My other favorite would have to be Psyducks becoming Golducks. Psyducks are very easy to find near water terrain areas such as waterfronts, docks, slips, ramps, beaches, piers and bridges.
So my sleeper Exegutor counter is actually Parasect also but a completely different moveset. THe Bug Bite / Cross Poison moveset. So Bug bite gets STAB + double type bonus against Exegutor and its still a very fast attack so using it rapidly and still pulling off effective doging is still very easy. Cross poison still gets Type bonus as psychic type doesnt have a resitance to it and grass type is weak to it. Cross poison is one of the fastest charge moves in the game and using it mmediately after dodging gurantees that you can dodge the very next attack and still get your charge move damage. This moveset can maintain its DPS while dodging every attack coming its way. It is probably one of the fastest weave rotations and its incredibly fun to play with because of how insanely well it dodges. Exeggutor, being one of the only grass types that isnt also poison, takes the most damage from this moveset out of the grass types
Why I like your channel:
1. You seem genuine and honest
2. Your titles are usually not click bait (a big plus on youtube these days)
3. Really helpful and useful tips
4. Taking your research seriously, citing sources and experimental ways to find out stuff in the game
5. Team Instinct
Keep up the good work!
Agree
So true!
Same. I hope he doesn't change the format any time soon
Why you said "usually not clickbait" i think he never clickbaited
1000 subs without video Challenge I also think he never clickbaited, but I couldn't say for sure, and I wasn't going to look thorough all of his video titles :D
This dude is the most helpful and most entertaining out of all the Pokemon go channels
Dam Nick! You forgot about Caterpie! This little guy will take down a Magikarp in no time and give you some easy 1000 Xp for your gym. He will give you a level 10 gym in less than 30 minutes. I don't know anything more OP than that.
We like doing things legit here...
actually bug bite bug buzz butterfree is chillen
Prodigy!!!
The STRUGGLE is real ... 😎.
My boi
i love how you do the titorials at the begining bruh and then start your vlogs ur like the only dude on youtube that does this just for that u get my sub man haha 👐 thank you
*tutorial*
*titorial
Titorial is for those who never saw a pair of tits.
Maik Gianino I have tits, so obviously I've seen a pair.
Too bad he doesnt now
Am I the only one who loves the camera flipping?
Nope!
amazes me everytime
love it!
I've caught some pretty strong Ratticates, Pidgeots, and Parasects in the wild (1000+ CP) so I am definitely keeping those. You never know when they might come in handy as an extra in battle.
+AnimeUproar been watching you for a while but that skit about "pokemon go rehab" is the best thing yet! so funny XD
Found an 850CP Gloom on my way home today, too bad it only had 62% IV.
I caught 262 parasect once... I live in rural England...
Never Lucky
I caught like an 800 weeping bell, almost 1000 Seaking and Jinx, and some other ones. IVs are usually not great but they can be useful as a 6th in battle.
Jay Kobb
Hey thanks a lot. I am always honored when someone takes the time to compliment our videos.
These vlog style are my favorite. You learn new things each video. Keep it up nick
It's also great to see Dante
This' the only PoGo channel I subscribed to. His presentation is really neat and classy.. Greetings from the Philippines!
im sorry for not knowing your name dude but I have to say, thank you. this channel has been really helpful to me, basically everything I know about pokemon go came from your channel. so once again thank you!
I agree with you, and his name is Nick by the way.
You seem to have such a kind and gentle soul. I always enjoy your videos! Thanks for all your hard work!
what I like about this channel is how you make the camera transition from one to another. Only in your channel I've seen this style of editing and I'm really impressed. Good job Nick
I love your videos, Nick! Keep up the hard work!
Isn't Parasect's best move set Bug Bite / Solar Beam?
yes
Parasect furrycutter/solarbeam or bugbite/solar beam and both good furrycutter is a much faster attack and like nick said helps you build up your solarbeam Bar. SO furrycutter is just for the ulti move.
+Jasundible “Jay” Maddix I believe Furry Cutter is only faster than Bug Bite by 0.05 DPS.
+Joey Dennis nah fury cutter is a faster attack and fills special bar faster
wait, is that Dante Basco? as in Dante Basco, the voice of Zuko in Airbender? And Wongfu?
Yes. He's his cousin.
oh wow! that's so cool!
Yup
Also voice of Jake Long the American Dragon
Real OG's know him as Rufio
Sandslash with mudshot and earthquake is devastating against Pokemon twice his CP.
Yup sand slash is my go to.
but sandshrew is not that common like pidgeys
move too Arizona and you will find so many sandshrew and sandslash
against who
I look forward to tomorrows video! I love how you've built your channel and the way you edit your videos, it's really inspiring :)
2nd choice
Don't put any stardust into a Parasect. Save it for the good stuff.
Actually looking over the data, Bug Bite charges energy very slightly faster than Fury Cutter, so Bug Bite/Solar Beam is the better choice. The difference in animation time is very small as well, so Bug Bite is still a very fast attack.
Where is Juan?
Juan moved on to better opportunities. As said in a previous video in a q&a.
My dude even goes to Asian barber shops.
Is he Asian?
+Moiz iqbal he's said countless times in videos that he's fillipino, he goes to asain restaurants with his asian girlfriend alllll the time and to asian barbers. It's pretty self explantory
He looks nothing like a Filipino. I was wondering if he was half asian.
im sure hes half white.
He's half white...... But yeah dude does everything Asian....he even got the oil changed at an Asian auto shop
Clickbait title would have been - "Using Unnamed Drugs to Keep Play Pokemon Go"
Wow.
wow! really!? wow! So cool!!!!!!!1'qnq
Yea but this isn't MasterSaint so.......
I am a Brazilian woman, an aunt (31 years) LOL. I enjoy games since "forever" and i have seen several generations of this type of content. Nick:*Thumbs Up*
me: what, his hair looks the same LOL
Slowbro with ice beam. I took down a 1700 cp dragonite followed by a 2000 cp dragonite and still had hp to spare for the next battle.
pòoooooooooooooooooooooop
+Stanley Petrie did i mention the slowbro was 1500cp? is it really that hard to believe?
+mlmf2012 no one really cares
No. This is not true. I use slowbro with icebeam vs dragonites and it says not effective. It seems Dragon types are weak vs ice attacks but not from slowbro.
+Jimmy Hor not effective? dragonite has had a terrible ice weakness since gen 1
100% one of the best video makes I've seen in about 8 years of watching TH-cam. Informative, well edited, and easy to watch. Thanks 👍
That is so awesome that the channel grew so quickly! Not surprised though because this is one of the only channels that never click baits and always provides the information we need. Keep it up Nick!
Yes just found out his in team Instinct go team Instinct 😃
Like if your in team Instinct😙
I am team instinct
You lose a few CP for owning an automatic car, manual cars are Super Effective!
Lol 👏
*a guy named Manuel who drives an automatic*
My mom hates manual cars
+Clefairy Moon Vlogz then why's she so good with a stick.
+Tom Y omg
So my rattata nest I live on isn't all bad?!

I just caught a 1100 CP Arcanine today with Fire Fang and Fire Blast. Not great CP for my level but it's excellent for training against Exeggutors.
Best moveset and good for lapras too. Not a type advantage to attack but lapras is not effective to fire. I find exeggutors harder to kill when they have a psychic move.
Anything with Bug Buzz and Bug bite kills Exeggutor faster than fire types. Kinda fun, cause they are fairly easy to come by.
why does my jolteon loose to things like golduck even though it's higher cp
Because jolteon is shit
tru XD
Jolteon is awesome if you have a good one and know how to fight.
Stefanos
I was dodging and the golducks 2 moves were non stab
+Hotdog718 yeah I'm pretty sure Jolteon got snubbed at the first update along with Vaporeon etc. , sucks because Jolteon used to SMASH all water pokemon lol I think is defense went wayyy down
Anybody noticed that one of his parasects weighs 0.03kg?
hold up wtf
oh shit for real @2:07
I've seen a 1-2 kg Gyarados. Wtf Niantic
I have a 0.07 vileplume. My friend says its an extra small mushroom
Well... parasect is basically a dead and possibly hollowed out bug on a parasite mushroom.
This is a first... You said VLOG in bold! That's so awesome! You did a flashy thumbnail and really explained it well and then you informed us it is also a vlog. Love ur honesty man. Also good job on the keynote!

Some people just like it or are used to it (like me)
I miss more using a normal throw then a curve xD
i find it easier to get an excellent throw when doing a curve ball
The only downside to getting used to doing curveballs is how triggered you get when you see people not using it
Sabre Playz
I know right xD

Who is missing?
I'm glad I'm not the only one who was wondering that! lol
Who is that?
that's what I was wondering
I wonder?
Okay, I was wondering who else noticed that!
The Dante guy sounds like Zuko fror the last air bender
he is
If you arent being sarcastic, he is btw

GOD DAMN RUFIO INTROING TRAINERTIPS NICK!?!?!?! MY LIFE IS COMPLETE!!!
I can get a Parasect. I've got a 91.1% 500cp-ish Paras. Is that good?
I think you should evolve it. And because it has really great IV's, I'm sure it will get 1000 CP plus.
No, that's obviously really bad. You should be ashamed of asking something like this
Should be roughly 850 CP if you evolve it. I've got a couple of them and the CP is very rarely higher than 800 tbh. Plus if you don't get the ideal move set it's other moves are crap.
ImSoPhreshhh You are aware that the cp cap of Pokemon is based on your level? If he is lvl 15, he can't even power up a Paras to 800.
+? ? I'm level 22 and I don't tend to power up Pokemon, I have like 200,000 stardust so the ones I've seen are about 450-800 cp but there move sets are crappy most the time if it's not the best one anyway,
I see you... GO BACK TO VID AND THEN DO THE COMMENTS!
F You 😂
lmao good one
You caught me, Mr. Snorlax! XD
Just take it easy, Snorlax. Please don't eat me
Shush, remember. I catched you today
Am i the only one who reports all these fake Coins generator accounts or what?
You aren't.
yes you are
you aren't
They prey on the gullible. I report them all the time.
nope
You had about 20k subs when I found you, I'm amazed at how fast this grew. Your doing awesome man, keep it up, but please pace yourself too.
you are my favorite pokemon trainer i like that you are real and not overly animated like most pokemon youtubers keep up the awesome job Nick
Holy crap. Is that Dante Basco?
yes, fire lord zuko is nick's cousin.

Hoooly shit, I love avatar so much, I don't know why I didn't realise this until now
Will someone tell me what those symbols next to the names are?
The Moveset
It's him renaming them so he knows the moveset.
How to find these symbols on the keyboard? Do I need the special one?
in terms of someone asking abot how to use the symbols, it depends on the phone you have c: if you have an android, it should have this smiley emoji and you click on that and it should give you the symbols!
Tangela is another sleeper pic
Especially with Solar Beam

+Hey Jamie ... and I know you're with me on this! 😜👊
well.. pikachu does..
+Bryn Diesel i agree only pikachu says his name
It's actually just like this in the regular games. Pikachu says Pikachu everyone else has horrible digital cries.
I love their digital cries... I don't think anyone would want electabuzz's cry from the show (tho it would be hilarious)
why use a pidgeot to fight grass type when you can use fire. fire is so much better
Fire type is rare that's why
Fire is better but Pidgey is a more accessible Pokemon. That was his point.
I have a ton of flareons and 3 arcanines
Woooooooossssshhhh yep you totally missed the point of the vid there lol. he is pointing out the ones people don't really think about or use giving people more choices.
not everybody has one bruh
Your comments are overwhelmingly positive?
Idk nick, I feel like your comments are overwhelmingly bots spamming "working free coins" and kids who realised they can get infinite likes by saying "where's team ____ at" or "like or never catch a rare again".
Also, a lot of people saying "first".
+GregTom2 a lot of people say how much they love this channel and how it's never click bait, "first" comments are everywhere, bots are everywhere and team _____ are on all Pokemon go channels. He doesn't affect that, the comments he speaks of are people saying "never change"
inb4 removing comment section.
a lot of comments referencing the "crimson chin" lol
I've only seen 1 working free coins and 2 where's _ at? Other than that it's jut feed back
You're a damn good kid. It puts a smile on my face to think that this channel is only the beginning of your career. All the best dude, looking forward to the next video.
Damn youtube had this marked as new. One of the few TrainerTips videos I missed, darn these YT algorithms!
Nick ur so extra😂
Camera in the trunk/boot then u close it open it again to get the camera😂
Extra
You should definitely throw some more 'extra' in there. Extra extra EXTRA extras.
+Bryn Diesel don't extra forget, the extra
+Udit Sharma do u understand what I'm trying to say when I say extra
+Bryn Diesel u too
We get it dude, it's just a joke :P
Can this comment get likes for no reason?
yes
no
Disliked
No reason is a reason, :D
C'mon... this is a good channel with a decent comment section. please don't ruin it for us.
yeah man your editing skills are super good, it feels like you have a natural feel for editing and flow
Question for Sunday Q&A:
Who produces the music you use in your videos!
It's a great combination of 8bit sound with a fresh feel! I would definitely listen to a trainer tips soundtrack
As an aspiring content creator, I'm hooked on your channel more for the content than the pokemon tips.
I'm obsessed with your vids. They are actually helpful and not just clickbait btw this might be weird but.. i love the camera flip things that you do haha
The 2 main reasons why your channel grew so fast:
1. You cover a very hot topic (PokemonGo)
2. You capture what people people always yearn for. Traveling.
I don't know if you intended to do it, but that first cut where you get in your car was amazing. It's a small thing, but the flipping camera was very cool!
Ive said this before and I'll say it again, but this is one of the absolute best channels on TH-cam right now. I love the vids nick keep it up!
This guy is living life!! Just came back from Hawaii & already going on another trip that TH-cam money must really be rolling in!!
Dude! I never seen a interesting vlog about daily things. Your editing is AMAZING.
:0
It's so crazy to me how you and Dante are cousins and how often he's in your videos because I was a huge Avatar fan growing up, and Zuko was my favorite character. Every time he speaks I'm immediately flushed with childhood nostalgia... Crazy stuff haha
The man is a genius! Am I the only one that thinks he should make his own pokemon game?
Agree, it's your style of shooting your videos that keeps me interested.
2:38 nick, exeggutor doesnt have any grass type fast move(only psychic type fast move, which is confusion and zen headbutt), which means theres no exeggutor with Both grass type move. So every exeggutor will deal super effective dmg to venomoth with its fast move.
Without question the most informative PG channel on here. Thanks Nick
your videos are so smart, and relaxing! unlike most pokémon players this guy makes the game a SCIENCE, and me as a science nerd really enjoy that
You are getting really good at cutting and editing videos with transitions. Keep it up man!
Love the videos! Only criticism is that Exeggutor always has at least one psychic move as it's two quick attacks are either Confusion or Zen Headbutt so, like you said, Venomoth is super effective but usually it will still will lose to an Exeggutor unless you're a dodging pro.
Favorite underrated trainers:
- Parasect (w/ Fury Cutter & Solar Beam)
- Wigglytuff (w/ Pound & Play Rough/Hyper Beam)
- Kabutops (w/ Mud Shot & Stone Edge)
- Sandslash (w/ Mud Shot & Earthquake)
- Marowak (w/ Mud Slap & Earthquake)
- Seadra (several different effective move sets)
Scyther/Venomoth's Bug-Type attacks will for x4 against Exeggutors, Homie! :) - Bug being x2 against Grass and x2 against Psychic
you should explain how team battles work at gyms.
It's people like this that make me turn my ad blocker off. Keep it up man!
I found great success with Slowpoke (with water gun) and low level Wigglytuff when boosting prestige in my teams gyms, they work well because of their high HP against Flareon (that I see tons of around here) and can usually win at less then 1/2 CP fights.
This boy deserves 1kk+ subscribers on his channel. I wish you good luck, Nick!
Pinsir with Fury Cutter / X-Scissor also does pretty well against Exeggutor. It's not common everywhere, but I used to see lots in the NYC area.
I barley play the game anymore but I still watch this chanel. That speaks volumes.
Dude, you're halfway to a gold TH-cam play button in less than two months. That's fantastic!
Usually trying to break up the monotony of all the Evee
evolves.
Love the transitions you do! They're so clean it makes me dizzy and jealous X)
I've been watching for a while and I need to put this out there that I absolutely love the cinematics and transitions
I've got a magmar with ember and flamethrower and it's pretty good at crushing those pinsirs
whats some good choices to take down vaporeon?
Raichu. It's an electric type and its the best electric type in the game. i will be doing a video on the best pokemon for taking on each type of pokemon so be sure to look out for that if you are subscribed! if you aren't then you should!
Also electabuzz. It's not the best pokemon in the world but It is high in defense so it can take a few hits!
exeguttor with solar beam is my go to for vapes mainly because of its tankiness and survivability
Jolteon. Also electabuzz. Really any electric type
Your You Tube Channel ROCKS!! Keep up the great work you have been doing Nick! Also team Instinct RULES. 👍
best wishes dude, your channel is one of the finest around!
