hey Nick not sure if you know this but if you hit 10 different poke stops in row the 10th poke stop will be a super stop, where you get double the experience points double items and a higher chance at getting a 10km egg. but you can't hit the same poke stop twice, if you do the count will restart. you should try this out on a future episode..

+TheFireKingHD/JakeTheDogHD i'm pretty sure that each pokemon has predetermined cp values for each pokemon. It explains why different levels get different cp pokemon and the same level players get the same cp pokemon. That's just my theory and it could be wrong.
+Jorden Beam me and my brother are the same lv and usually who ever click it first get the higher cp. Sometimes my sister gets a higher cp from clicking it first she is 4 lv lower

what do you mean by click first? do you mean when a Pokemon appears in the wild and whoever clicks it first gets a higher cp? if so I think it all depends on what level you are.then it stops to matter after you reach lvl30

You can 100% get regional pokemons in eggs outside the region they are exclusive to. I've seen multiple people get Tauros in Norway for instance. Nothing for me yet, rarest I got was Porygon. But fingers crossed since I most likely won't travel outside Europe any time soon :)

Your theory is correct. At my house, I hatch terrible Pokemon like Oddish and Weedle. There is a place near me that spawns amazing Pokemon, even though it is in a neighborhood like mine. There, I hatch things like I find: Growlithe, Sandshrew, Magnemite, Ekans, Geodude, Clefairy, Machop, AWESOME 10K hatches, Diglett, and more.

So far I haven't seen a difference, but I always get a excellent curveball, and the Pokemon escaped almost the same as if I hit it with a nice curveball
When the circle above the Pokemons head is at it"s smallest and you hit it with the ball at this exact moment you have more chance to capture it opposed to the circle being big. So wait untill the circle comes small you hit it with the pokeball. The curveballs give you extra XP points.
Hi! First of all, thanks a lot for the videos. I'm an old pkmn fan, used to play game boy with my friends in junior high using that infrared tool for battles and trading, so I can pretty much handle myself in this game since at least stats and the resistance-weakness charts haven't changed (or at least not that much). But discovering the mechanics behind the game was always the funniest thing (and of course, hitting the elite four) and some people are working really hard to figure them out, and I thank them a lot, but the fact is you can translate it to a relatively simple language, using nice examples and making your own grown in game while sharing it to, I guess, the world. I can't play it that much because of my graduation and work, but I managed to save a lot of dust and candies so now that I'm close to level 20 I will start the "real game" at least in almost same trainer power as people who can play more time. I actually read from some publications that hatching region specific Pokemon outside of any said region is possible; though it is rare. Let's consider that your friend is one lucky dude. Haha I believe I read this one off CNET.

What about pokemon lvls for example if i get a 10k egg at trainer lvl 10 and I hatch it at trainer lvl 20 will I get a higher lvl pokemon?
The cp of Pokemon from eggs locks off at level 20 so once your level 20 you'll get the highest potential cp so if you had a friend that was level 40 and you were level 20 you would get the same max cp of the Pokemon you hatch
Basically if you get a 10k egg at level 10 and for some reason decide to wait hatching it untill level 20, the pokemon you would crack would have cp equal too if you cracked it at level 10
Nick, just wanted to be another one to say this. Amongst the few hundred channels on PokemonGo, TrainerTips is the best by far. You're never lagging behind in updates, you truly have the understanding of IVs and specially 'STAB' and can put it out in the most easy manner. Whenever the Pokémon is constantly breaking out of the pokeballs, no matter which one you use (in this video Pickachu) use the run symbol on top left and again click on that Pokémon and try catching it...always works for me😊

Hey Nick. I was curious about this topic also so I did a little research myself. What I did so far was, N=27 , 2k eggs from a known Charmander nest in my area. Here were my results, 9 Pidgeys, 3 caterpies, 4 spearows, 2 jigglypuffs, 4 weedles, 2 rattata and 3 magikarp. Sadly no charmanders or any starters were hatched from the 27 eggs. Im not sure if I just have bad luck with eggs, but I have come to the conclusion that eggs are NOT dependent on the location you receive them from. I plan on continuing this experiment in the area until I get enough candies for a charizard, so I will update this data in the near future with more trials to see if my conclusion is supported or not. Hope this data helps!
I'd reommend GoIV in the play store for your IV's it uses a screen capture overlay to read your screen in game and let you know the IV ranges. No logging in and no switching apps or screens
One of the theories that have been pretty solid as of late is that the order of the eggs you have in your inventory will indicate what pokemon number they are. For example, if you have a 7 10k Eggs and 2 2k Eggs but one of those 2k Eggs is at the top of your inventory and the other is at the very bottom. Then most likely the bottom egg will be a magikarp since its number is 129.
You have so many pokemon I don't have in my area, but when you got excited for the Weedle, rhe stark contrast in spawns per each respective area showed. I have around 300 Weedle, Spearow, and Pidgey candies each.

I find his results to be wanting. My friend and I did a mini study in a car with cruise control, and we both found that 14 mph or 22.5 kph while in a straight line was consistently earning distances on the eggs.
If you have an Android phone Nick, I suggest using GoIV in the app store. it is basically an overlay that runs just like the poke assistant calculator with the push of a button. It is faster than using the calculator and best of all, IT IS COMPLETELY SAFE TO USE.
Oh ya. What I have been doing is...I look up the IV's on Silph Road which gives you the Attack+Defense / Stamina then look up the same Pokemon on Poke Assistant which breaks down all three Attack/Defense/Stamina...I heard that the Stamina is always 100% correct on Silph Road which helps narrow down the options on PokeAssistant. Then look for the right match on PokeAssistant. EX: Silph Road: 23/10 PokeAss: 12 + 14 + 12 : 12 + 11 + 11 : 11 + 13 + 10 : 11 + 12 + 10
I believe the order of eggs is the same as your order of your Pokemon by default until you incubate eggs out of order. So if you hatch them in order as you received them it just places them as to when you received them.
Nick if you want a pokemon holiday i suggest Palma Mayorca, : Lapras, Dratini, , tons of pikachu, eeveees, wild vaporeons, wild jolteons, nests, a ton of pokemons plus a pokestop every 20 metters, just buy more that an extra batery maybe around five strong ones
The poke inside the egg is decided at the time of hatching, not when you obtain the egg. If it were fixed once you have the egg then apps that let you into the back end could tell you what's inside.
I did notice some correlation, between the Pokémon received in an egg and the stop at which the egg was collected from. I get 90% of my eggs from a public park near my house in Queens NY and I noticed that there's a significantly higher chance that the eggs hatch into meowth, shelder, and psyduck, with local friends who visit the same park reporting similar results. I know that this is far from a proper test however it seems like these pokemon are given at much higher rate than if it were random.
You should test this theory by collecting eggs from pokéstops by bodies of water and instead of looking for one specific Pokémon, look for a certain type (water) Also, I placed a double lure recently and it kept spawning the same thing again and again. 5 times in a row one lure spawned Goldeens whilst the other was spawning zubats, the first two times I thought it was a coincidence, but then I became doubtful. It would be cool if you could investigate whether some lures are more likely to spawn rare Pokemon or certain types so we would know whether we'd be better off using lures at certain pokéstops. Just an interesting query I had and it would be awesome if you could do some research into it in the future. Love your channel btw and keep up the hard work!
Another GREAT video! My guess on what comes out from an egg is that it somehow depends on where the egg is hatched instead of where it is picked up. This theory is based on my plenty of disappointing hatching experiences, and actually by doing so it requires less space from Naiantic server, which makes sense. But I have not tested it yet, if you are interested you can test this by having all the eggs hatched at once in nest A while picking them from random pokestops or from nest B. Anyway, just a guess, looking forward to the next video.

My theory is the weather and location affect what pokemon hatch, but it's the weather and location when it hatches not when it's acquired or when it begins incubating. No data to support this, but I did hatch a pikachu towards the end of a big storm.
when you brought up the idea of eggs possibly being influenced by the location they're found in, i started paying closer attention to what i was hatching and from what areas i tend do hatch a minimum of 10 5km eggs a day, and i've been in the habit to record where i get my 10km eggs from every time i get one, so i'm finding my results to be quite interesting my last 6 10km eggs have been 4 eevee, an onix and an omanyte. the 4 eevee eggs i received while walking around a park that is theorized to be an eevee nest, but it's otherwise a place where eevee spawns very frequently. it used to be a dratini nest, and the only 10km egg that i've hatched into a dratini i also got at this location (before the nest changed from drat to vee) the onix egg i received from a pokestop at a large commercial building site which is quite close to the highway, places that are common to rock type pokemon the omanyte egg i received, along with 26 5km eggs, along a popular river spot. 24 of the 26 eggs i hatched were water types, tentacool (12)/poliwag (6)/psyduck (4)/slowpoke (2) with the remaining two being koffing and magnemite (this expansive river spot runs parallel to two industrial parks as well as a railway, both which are common spots to the steel/electric type) i've also found that even my 2km eggs have not been the regular pidgey/caterpie/weedle, but rather magikarp and geodude (my last 6 2km eggs have been magikarp (4) and geodude (2) respectively) while that has only been a small set of eggs that i've really recorded and payed close attention to, i think it definitely provides some support to the theory that location does influence what one receives within an egg (sorry for such a long post!)
Try it the other way around. Get any egg, but make sure it hatches in the exeggecute nest. My friend hatched a Pikachu with a different location's egg in a Pikachu nest.
I feel like location matters. As in you have a higher chance of getting what's around you when you hatch an egg, even if you can still get special things. Like my dad hatched 2 laprases, a chansey and a snorlax consecutively from his 10km eggs and he always hatches them in the business district, shopping district or the beach (all these places always spawn rly good pokemon). Whereas I often hatch 10km eggs at home and usually get pinsir, Eevee and omanyte (which often spawn near my house). My only good 10km was an aerodactyl and I hatched it in the shopping district.

People Forget Pikachu is as hard to catch as any starter lol, use ultraballs + razz berry with curve ball + Great throw, that will give you some odds.

Eggs aren't region locked. You can get any released pokemon from eggs (except for Legendaries of course).

What about pokemon lvls for example if i get a 10k egg at trainer lvl 10 and I hatch it at trainer lvl 20 will I get a higher lvl pokemon?
The cp of Pokemon from eggs locks off at level 20 so once your level 20 you'll get the highest potential cp so if you had a friend that was level 40 and you were level 20 you would get the same max cp of the Pokemon you hatch
So it would probably be higher cp if you hatch at level 20

Basically if you get a 10k egg at level 10 and for some reason decide to wait hatching it untill level 20, the pokemon you would crack would have cp equal too if you cracked it at level 10
Nick, just wanted to be another one to say this. Amongst the few hundred channels on PokemonGo, TrainerTips is the best by far. You're never lagging behind in updates, you truly have the understanding of IVs and specially 'STAB' and can put it out in the most easy manner.

Hey there, love your videos and just wanted to tell you one of my observations. Whenever the Pokémon is constantly breaking out of the pokeballs, no matter which one you use (in this video Pickachu) use the run symbol on top left and again click on that Pokémon and try catching it...always works for me😊

Hey Nick. I was curious about this topic also so I did a little research myself. What I did so far was, N=27 , 2k eggs from a known Charmander nest in my area. Here were my results, 9 Pidgeys, 3 caterpies, 4 spearows, 2 jigglypuffs, 4 weedles, 2 rattata and 3 magikarp. Sadly no charmanders or any starters were hatched from the 27 eggs. Im not sure if I just have bad luck with eggs, but I have come to the conclusion that eggs are NOT dependent on the location you receive them from. I plan on continuing this experiment in the area until I get enough candies for a charizard, so I will update this data in the near future with more trials to see if my conclusion is supported or not. Hope this data helps!

I'd reommend GoIV in the play store for your IV's it uses a screen capture overlay to read your screen in game and let you know the IV ranges. No logging in and no switching apps or screens
One of the theories that have been pretty solid as of late is that the order of the eggs you have in your inventory will indicate what pokemon number they are.
For example, if you have a 7 10k Eggs and 2 2k Eggs but one of those 2k Eggs is at the top of your inventory and the other is at the very bottom. Then most likely the bottom egg will be a magikarp since its number is 129.
You have so many pokemon I don't have in my area, but when you got excited for the Weedle, rhe stark contrast in spawns per each respective area showed. I have around 300 Weedle, Spearow, and Pidgey candies each.

I find his results to be wanting. My friend and I did a mini study in a car with cruise control, and we both found that 14 mph or 22.5 kph while in a straight line was consistently earning distances on the eggs.

You can refine in PokeAssistant to get exact IV's by powering up or evolving and it even splits the Attack & Defense stats.
If you have an Android phone Nick, I suggest using GoIV in the app store. it is basically an overlay that runs just like the poke assistant calculator with the push of a button. It is faster than using the calculator and best of all, IT IS COMPLETELY SAFE TO USE.
Oh ya. What I have been doing is...I look up the IV's on Silph Road which gives you the Attack+Defense / Stamina then look up the same Pokemon on Poke Assistant which breaks down all three Attack/Defense/Stamina...I heard that the Stamina is always 100% correct on Silph Road which helps narrow down the options on PokeAssistant. Then look for the right match on PokeAssistant.
EX: Silph Road: 23/10
PokeAss: 12 + 14 + 12
: 12 + 11 + 11
: 11 + 13 + 10
: 11 + 12 + 10

I believe the order of eggs is the same as your order of your Pokemon by default until you incubate eggs out of order. So if you hatch them in order as you received them it just places them as to when you received them.

I'm from Germany and one of my friends hatched a Tauros. So the region doesn't affect hatching of these region-specific pokemon!

Nick if you want a pokemon holiday i suggest Palma Mayorca, : Lapras, Dratini, , tons of pikachu, eeveees, wild vaporeons, wild jolteons, nests, a ton of pokemons plus a pokestop every 20 metters, just buy more that an extra batery maybe around five strong ones
The poke inside the egg is decided at the time of hatching, not when you obtain the egg. If it were fixed once you have the egg then apps that let you into the back end could tell you what's inside.

I did notice some correlation, between the Pokémon received in an egg and the stop at which the egg was collected from. I get 90% of my eggs from a public park near my house in Queens NY and I noticed that there's a significantly higher chance that the eggs hatch into meowth, shelder, and psyduck, with local friends who visit the same park reporting similar results. I know that this is far from a proper test however it seems like these pokemon are given at much higher rate than if it were random.

You should test this theory by collecting eggs from pokéstops by bodies of water and instead of looking for one specific Pokémon, look for a certain type (water)
Also, I placed a double lure recently and it kept spawning the same thing again and again. 5 times in a row one lure spawned Goldeens whilst the other was spawning zubats, the first two times I thought it was a coincidence, but then I became doubtful. It would be cool if you could investigate whether some lures are more likely to spawn rare Pokemon or certain types so we would know whether we'd be better off using lures at certain pokéstops. Just an interesting query I had and it would be awesome if you could do some research into it in the future. Love your channel btw and keep up the hard work!

My guess on what comes out from an egg is that it somehow depends on where the egg is hatched instead of where it is picked up. This theory is based on my plenty of disappointing hatching experiences, and actually by doing so it requires less space from Naiantic server, which makes sense. But I have not tested it yet, if you are interested you can test this by having all the eggs hatched at once in nest A while picking them from random pokestops or from nest B.
Anyway, just a guess, looking forward to the next video.

Unfortunately, he has become an ADULT, and is too busy to play. Being 2Xs retired, and disabled, I can play, when I am not "overcome by events." I am the daycare PawPaw for his 2-year-old daughter, so I am teaching her. When we are not learning to count, or to say the alphabet, she is learning to enjoy Pokemon. My theory is the weather and location affect what pokemon hatch, but it's the weather and location when it hatches not when it's acquired or when it begins incubating. No data to support this, but I did hatch a pikachu towards the end of a big storm.

when you brought up the idea of eggs possibly being influenced by the location they're found in, i started paying closer attention to what i was hatching and from what areas
i tend do hatch a minimum of 10 5km eggs a day, and i've been in the habit to record where i get my 10km eggs from every time i get one, so i'm finding my results to be quite interesting
my last 6 10km eggs have been 4 eevee, an onix and an omanyte. the 4 eevee eggs i received while walking around a park that is theorized to be an eevee nest, but it's otherwise a place where eevee spawns very frequently. it used to be a dratini nest, and the only 10km egg that i've hatched into a dratini i also got at this location (before the nest changed from drat to vee)
the onix egg i received from a pokestop at a large commercial building site which is quite close to the highway, places that are common to rock type pokemon
the omanyte egg i received, along with 26 5km eggs, along a popular river spot. 24 of the 26 eggs i hatched were water types, tentacool (12)/poliwag (6)/psyduck (4)/slowpoke (2) with the remaining two being koffing and magnemite (this expansive river spot runs parallel to two industrial parks as well as a railway, both which are common spots to the steel/electric type)
i've also found that even my 2km eggs have not been the regular pidgey/caterpie/weedle, but rather magikarp and geodude (my last 6 2km eggs have been magikarp (4) and geodude (2) respectively)
while that has only been a small set of eggs that i've really recorded and payed close attention to, i think it definitely provides some support to the theory that location does influence what one receives within an egg
(sorry for such a long post!)
Try it the other way around. Get any egg, but make sure it hatches in the exeggecute nest. My friend hatched a Pikachu with a different location's egg in a Pikachu nest.
I feel like location matters. As in you have a higher chance of getting what's around you when you hatch an egg, even if you can still get special things. Like my dad hatched 2 laprases, a chansey and a snorlax consecutively from his 10km eggs and he always hatches them in the business district, shopping district or the beach (all these places always spawn rly good pokemon). Whereas I often hatch 10km eggs at home and usually get pinsir, Eevee and omanyte (which often spawn near my house). My only good 10km was an aerodactyl and I hatched it in the shopping district.
Am i the only one who gets worried when he puts down the camera to shoot himself walking way or towards it? i always think... "omg what if someone runs and snatches it" xD lol
