oh man we got something in common. I love Ram trucks and hondas, i dont own one but i used to borrow my old man's truck to tow my civic coupe to the track
My wife and I are moving from Ireland to Alberta in September/October time. We were wondering if you could recommend a reliable truck to us? We have done some considerable research and landed on the Ram 1500 Hemi Crew Cab for our needs. Would you say that is a solid enough choice or would you recommend anything different? We love listening to your truck! God bless, The Rooneys
@@dearderekking Thats helpful. Yea we won’t be towing anything at all and just wanted something that will be capable in the snow, with good reliability and utility. Thanks for the reply and advice, Derek!
Is being that tall the only thing keeping the soot off the trailer? Just wondering if it would be effective or not to do the same thing but only with a small angled style tip on mine around 4 inches tall or so
How do you route the stack through the camper shell? You may be the only one!! Are you using metal surrounding the stack? And do you get water in the shell? Not that they don’t leak anyways haha and did you run it that tall because of the heat and the shell?
Ran some heat wrap inside the topper. At the top its snug to the fiberglass but doesn't get hot enough to melt it. It's that tall in an attempt to keep the exhaust off my white enclosed trailer lol
that's a funky exhaust setup right there, but hey it works.
Helps keep the soot off the side of my white enclosed trailer
heated bed
I kinda like that stack setup.
I kind of figured it was more for functional purposes than looks.
I love those Preludes. Styling and interior coupled with Honda reliability and almost 200hp, mint.
Couldn't agree more!
I used to have an 86 prelude, I remember that chime.
I love those cars
This thing makes me jealous with my 5.7 Hemi. Thank god for Cummins
I wouldn't mind a 5.7 truck too!
Please do a crusing video with a microphone close to the exhaust and just going around town and smaller streets mid rpm. That sound is nice!
Ok I will try to very soon!
The BB Prelude was definitely one of the better built Hondas. Solid interior.
I'd really like to have one someday to go with my integra
I had a 1997 Prelude Type SH in high school. Loved that car and always impressed people.
@@Cooperdaleit I'd love to have one some day
Someone here can't stop watching your videos 😌
Love to hear it! Thanks
I was surprised, but we have a 5.9 cummins engine installed in on-board trucks :) For example, Kamaz-4308
simple and reliable i suppose haha
I was gonna ask where your stack was on the last video but hey, I see it now. 😂🤘🏻
Stock piping diameter pretty much all the way to the top of cab then 7" stack
If you want heat faster may I suggest you purchase amsoil coolant boost. It helped improve faster warm up and engine ran a little cooler.
Never heard of that.thanks for the pro tip

That rules. You see my civic uploads?
Dodge Cummins plus S2000 owner here as well 👍🏼
Heck yea . I'm sure your s2k is much nicer than mine lol 😆
I think that exhaust pipe is a bit on the short side don't you think...😂😉
It's not very big around but it sure is short!

If you don't need the power of the diesel the hemi sounds like a great choice

I think that definitely would help too .
That beast sounds mint!
Thanks Austin!
Amazing beast !! 😈😈
Thank you! Eventually I will get a proper drive by video lol
@@dearderekking Great ! 🤣
What do you do for work seems like a sweet job
Machinist during the week and then I haul cars on the weekends

What manifold & turbo are you running? She sounds beautiful
Stock manifold with calibrated power 64mm turbo
went on a watching spree of this truck! but nice s2k! :D
Thanks! I will get some vids up of it soon
@@dearderekking cant wait! got yourself a new sub bud
@@TacoFijiwater I appreciate it!

Wife got me a laptop for x mas that isn't 15 years old . Figured I'd try an edit lol 😆
I don't know if I'd get the RAM or the prelude? 🤔
mmmmmmh mmmhhhhh... 🤔
@Derek King
I'd like both!
@@dearderekking lucky man 😃
Again, nice rx7!
Thanks Drew. I will get more videos of my others soon
you in upper Illinois?
Nope but I was a few weekends ago picking up a car!
What turbo you got? Reason i ask is because it sounds alot like my fleece cheetah in my 03 3500
Calibrated Power 64mm . Very similar to the cheetah
Sounds very nice how many miles?
@@davidwebb2533 thank you! I think km at 335k now
@@dearderekking not even half of its life yet
@David Webb doing my best to make her last !
Nice car, but I wouldn't say the interior is "immaculate"
I see wear on the driver's seat, and the carpet looks shabby 😅. Nice clean Dash though.
Immaculate to my low standards!
@@dearderekking forgot to mention, your truck sounds awesome 👍
@@wisecampmotorcycles8258 thanks I appreciate it!
What year is the Cummins?
2004.5
Dude ! Put the exhaust out back !
Gets all over my white trailer that way
@@dearderekking all good mate ! Put a 10speed rr behind it and add some Jakes for giggles !
@Phil Hankins been looking for a good deal on an exhaust brake!
