In this video, we show you how to mount and connect the awesome Trail Tech Voyager Pro GPS unit and aluminum protective case on the handlebars of a 2021 KTM 500 EXC-F enduro dirt bike.
We show you how to wire power for the unit, which relay to use, and where to run the wires. How to get an aftermarket temperature sensor connected. And, how to use the Trail Tech official aluminum bar mount.
We also show you where we like to put the buddy antenna, how to use the bar clamp that's optional from Trail Tech, and we discuss some of the drawbacks around vehicle wheel speed sensors v. GPS speed calculations.

Hey! Glad you like the video! I'm not sure who the artist is. It's from epidemic sound so it's just non copy write music. We have both the Garmin Montana 610 and the TrailTech Voyager Pro and I can't say I like Garmin all that much. Its really clunky and for the price I found it disappointing. On the other hand it's portable and good more more than just riding dirt bikes. The Voyager Pro is great but its limited to use on the bike. We've also had issues with the power connector on the mount going out which is frustrating. About the mount for the E1 helmet, we haven't gotten around to any of the Schuberth lineup yet. I'll add it to our list. We are about to really push for ADV helmets so this one will be good to have. We'll get back to you when we have one up on our store.
@@ExtremeSportsWannaBes Great...Thanks. Let me know when that camera mount is available. You just sold your 1st one. And I too have a Garmin on my 1290 SA. The Montana.(whatever is the latest one) Absolutely useless and very hard to navigate around on. But, this new Zumo XT looks pretty awesome and could easily be moved from my 500 EXC-F to my Honda Talon. 👍👌
Definitely! We’ll keep you posted. That Zumo looks a lot better for sure. Hopefully Garmin steps their game up or they’re going to get left behind.
