You can catch the cloaking shark at Oquilla's Eye (its in the Ross sea table so no surprise there) which you can do safely - but yeah i've only got one so far - if you dont get any of the other reds profits can be low but a good spot nonetheless. Should add I caught it on the rocks behind the guild wharf shai with guards who give out some barter dailies)
No matter how hard you try, best constant money will be velia beach/coastal cliff, even when exhausted. They need to change all droptables' % drastically, basically only spots with 30%/10% of corvina/bluebat are worthwhile, even if spot has chance of catching up prize fish worth few hundred millions, it is just too rare. You can fish up 2 within 1 day, just to don't get single one by next month. Pink dolphin is just a good case.

I cannot find the spot number 5. I have been trying moving around the spot you show in the map, in all the hours i've been trying that spot never catched a red fish not the yellow one you show. Any tip?
To be honest, no. Its hard trying to get into the right spot when you have to wait to get lucky and catch the fish you're looking for. I suggest double or triple checking, fishing for a night then repositioning, and then double checking the Fish Maps.

Even though the spot is Abundant all the time, I feel like i cant even remotely fill my 100 slot tank. So far I've afk fishing for approx. 9 days straight, without ever getting lucky on any spot. So I've yet to catch a really valuable fish. Does the amount of rare fish relate to the amount of mastery I have? Yeah Mastery increases your chances of catching Prize Fish, but you have to understand they have less than 1% and even with increasing Mastery its still just maybe 6.25% - 7.25% soooooo still just RNG at the end of the day. I'm over here using 2.3k having trouble trying to find the reds too.
@TeddyTwighlite i totally agree. At least all the spots where you can get small red fish er exhausted. The entire system needs to be reworked. It should not be server based but channel, thereby most spots won't be exhausted... And also, the chance if catching these fish is way to rng.. I've been fishing now 11 days non stop 24h a day on various spots and only got one Manta ray so far.... Insane system if you ask me 🙈
@christianstade1 well PA mentioned a fishing rework so let's see how that works out and yeah with a catch rate of below 0% when you add mastery is still doesn't do much when you consider how many fish are in the table the the chances of all those fish. It's completely RNG still lol from taking 1 month to find a fish to 3 weeks lol a difference but come oooooon. People will get bored or tired looking for the prize fish after a while and the spots will start to go back to normal hopefully. Just have to wait out those hoping for 6bil a night
The fish tank can be found at the sea palace once you hit master1 fishing. The sea palace can be found over at the land of the Morning Light. I have guides for everything fishing if ya need

It was included for free and no word when it'll make a come back You can get the same effects from using the triple float rod, Nibbles lightstone combo, the full Mastery crystal setup, fishing pet at t4, and the manos fishing chair.
I have a question, can i just sit on island and fish? Or do i have to go to middle of ocean? For example, ostra island, can i sit on the island and still get the fish?
I've been fishing so much to find these new fish I'm 53.4% done the fish titles and still can't find the good ones. I've thought about coming back to streaming.. not sure though
The fishingmap isn't up to date in most parts it's missing fish in Velia it just tells u 2 red fish can be cought there but there are in total 5 red fishes you can get same in Alti and hakhoven if it missing so much in most places there is no point of using it there are spots where the map tells you you get no red fishes but there are red fishes
Which is why im making videos on on the spots you can fish at, what to expect money wise, and what you could find if you're lucky. The map is only good for knowing if there are yellows and the original reds. That's why I linked both map and fish data

Only one that's immune to pvp is velia. The rest you should be on a 49 if you're scared of being killed. Ideally use whatever works best for you. I sadly only have a level 1 alt I just made lol
You can also go lake flonder, the safe zone is on the music instruments NPC. Or if you well to kamasylvia you end up right there. It’s great xp, however money there relies on high mastery. A lot of relics in the prize pool.
@kevinwang7894 or you can head to the grana fishing event zone for the red and pumps there, starry midnight port might be an option with the distance bonus, and heidel event zone too
I've been fishing in Lake Flondor for over two weeks and haven't got the Pink Dolphin yet meanwhile my friend got it a single day, guess fishing RNG God has his favorites.
That's what I keep trying to explain. With how low the catch rate is for the new prize rate it's still just down to rng. We get a 6.25% increase at the most on a 0.008% drop
Fish Values were increased and 45 new Prize Fish were added all around the unpopular Fishing spots to help get people fishing in other places than the usual. Some places have 20m to 50m while the most unloved spots have Prize fish added worth anywhere from 150m to 1bil before any bonuses.
Dude I tapped a pen manos fishers on 4th attempt!!! Get the 30% durability artifact set. I tested it with the new grandpa rod and with Guru 25/7% dura on two pets/brand/10% dura from outfit the durability only went down 10-15 over night.
I've been using the Grandpa Cron's Rod all week and I've used 205 which is NOT bad in all abundant fishing spots. Hope they include it in another pearl pack
Mystic fish have a very very very rare chance to be caught from hotspots. Search it up, not much to really go by but I think I even have a video on them in my library but yes. No other red fish can be caught that be used to trade in just the 1 unsellable
Saw a Damage 20% stat at your ship window and I have same ship but with blue grade cannons and my Damage stat 0% I'm kinda confused how that particular stat works. Have 3 giant sailors and 2 Innocent goblins but I don't think my sailors influence that stat but who knows.
@TeddyTwighlite Maybe its a stat bug I have +10 Blue Cannon almost all gear on my ship is blue but still 0% Damage stat.. But good to know. I would gladly swap my giants for innocent sailors but don't wanna fire them because I don't have warf space for more sailors though. 👀
I saw a video where they said its a good spot to start fishing in valencia sea and selling it loml island, but ivbeen made like only like 100-200 / 4 hour, i am at a master 4 fishing and trading skillet 9. Do i mess this up or what ? Im only getting green fishes all around maybe 1-2 red and a just a dozen of gold fish. Im mostly afk fishing.
There's spots I haven't been too until after this update that's exhausted to where you don't make anything. Like 8hrs and 2 fish using the crons rod and 2.4-2.8k Mastery
Hey Teddy, love your videos, thanks a lot, i want yo share my experience, im almost guru 8 fishing with 1.4k mastery, fishing in Juur Sea is also not that bad, its not a lot of money, but i can still make 600milions every night. Where i fish, i just outside nampo sea, when u see on the map Juur Sea, thats the spot, a lot of yellow fish, and some good prize fish!
Yeah I was enjoying fishing in margoria up until my pc lost internet in this snow storm but it was decent money with only 3 28m reds. Did make 670 and 620 in Ross

Do you use maple or ash tree float? People say that you should not use float if you want to catch more Red/Prize fish as it will lessen the chances to get it, is that true?
1.2k mastery and only getting 2/3 red a night and maybe a rare or 2 it's not even 20% of what i saw am i realy still too much low looks like the grind is real to get something decent, i have tried velia beach and a nice spot in the sea to compare same not even 100m a night :/
Fishing is based off rng. Of course you can raise your prize catch chance up by 6% but that's it, that's literally the probably of all the new red fish. You'd be better off looking for only the spots with the yellow Corvina, blue bat, and football fish. Their easier to catch even though that's the only fish people go for so it lowers the trade in value. All ya can do is hope
0:13 I am almost certain, that Spot got Nerved on EU Servers right after release, I have not gotten a single Prize Catch Barreleye after the first two days they released the new fishes and fishing areas, while in the first two days I got 4 in total, 1 on day 1 and 3 on day 2. I fished there since then on D3&D4, but no luck since then.

Game warns people the value of fish will go down the more its traded in and all flock to one spot for one fish expecting more than mob grinding. I don't think Pearl Abyss is doing anything when the tool tips all warned about this, while fishing and trading lololol

Just gotta wait till some get tires of Fishing and/or Grinding becomes more valuable again. It definitely was a weird coincidence to Fish in the same Spot with 10 People on the first two days and catching so many Prize Catches to then suddenly stop afterwards.

I use the 100 slot and depending on the Fishing Resources, if abundant I fill the 100 and maybe 20 after when I wake up to trade them all in. Also depending on the spot depends on if they're the original reds or just the new one but most times 13-30 Reds if they're 10-30% and 5 if they're lower %
Can you show me your Fishing License and your Boating papers, I need to see how big of fish you're pulling up too cause its NOT a fishing event and anything over 500m has to be tossed back in. Sir and or Madam, is that a triple float. Those are illegal in these spots, only Balenos or Fughar until mid june or its a 50b fine. All complaints can be filed with Igor Bartali but I warn you, he's backed up with all the paperwork from the Hakovan Epidemic so it could be weeks.

All of these videos are such BS, they are using the new grandpa fishing rod at max fishing speed with the best pay2win gear and pets you can buy with over 2000 mastery fishing 10+ hours and their average is maybe 800mil (Not a bil) stop letting these videos foul you, I have tried all the spots at 1400 mastery (tri manos where the average player is at) and its an average of 500mil per 10+ hour fishing
@@2amProFilms if your playing active for money then don't fish. All these changes still largely surround AFK fishing. That being said I have got high mastery fishing level and have had 24 hrs yeild 5 to 6bill. Average 1.5 to 2bill. ....Not bad for not actually playing the game.
lol more spots for pearl to nerf , lol that was so true back in the day. I will support you Teddy in saying do your OWN data mining. We used to tell people places got nerfed even though they didn’t. I also used to go data mine after a heated argument because they really believed others, over someone really trying to help. Data mining is easy . Spend 1 hour with the same buffs and same gear 2 different times noting hot times and node investment when it’s close to the same number or matches bam data. Take the average or in between number and use that as the data you judge by. Some toons grind faster than others like kuno and guardian. So data may very for grinding. You know Teddy us lifeskillers have said we need equal money making especially in fishing. Even if the servers are empty on console, and can’t make money on the market, we may be able to play again just off barters and fishing. As a side note - does this seem like it’s becoming a single player game. Maybe they won’t need crimson after all if they keep this up. Thanks for the video .
I normally spend a week with the same setup to see how I fair with 48hrs at each just to double check. I dont bother with charts and all since its just a game. I fish because I just want to find all the fish and not trying to make trillions like with mob grinding lol but I know wanting that with Lifeskills is over the top. Yeah even though we begged to make money and all, a LOT of people have to understand and remember these spots have been here since fishing was added and the values/45 new fish were added lol nothing more with a VERY low catch chance. Its all about the Yellow Corvina/Blue Bats limiting them to JUST the same spots. This does not mean in ANY way BDO is moving into anything other than updating long needed parts of their game that should've been looked at after the 2018 update introducing Mastery.. Thats like saying because they added new Life Tools PVP and Mob Grinding is being removed lol Dont worry too much about that and worry more about if a feature will be updated or what promises wont be kept from any ball I have more to come especially with all the new changes, in the middle of recording 12 new fishing spots so keep working on your mastery in preparations for whenever you get the update on Consoles or if you choose to take the leap

i has 1k mastey guru 1 and making 300m per night and it's not worth it you must have 2k+ mastry to make one bill peer night and that will cost you over 30bill selver to buy life skill gear 😂😂😂 main while you can make a bill per h in any mid game grind spot
Those are not afk fishing spots... Plus you have to sail back and forth to sell your imperials. I'd rather fish in cities close to Imperial Fishing seller.
Yeah I agree. This doesn't work with the yellow map and being able to head across the map and teleport back in the time limit or or the well they added to OE to help speed up how fast we can get to and from places. Mob grinding will always be there and works out 100% making 11b a day

It's referring to how you fish.. actively or away from keyboard. Ones faster but requires input the other is slower but can be done while sleeping

Max depth gives the best chances just eats a TON of energy other than that its kinda still all up in the air

Idk man, at 1800 mastery, im getting constant 900-1,2b in velia afk fishing for 10hs
I made 1.1b so velia isn't a bad spot. I'll be there a while for my mystic fish

Pretty sure their patch notes said you cant get red fish from hotspots. i could be wrong tho.
Mystic fish have a very very very rare chance to be caught from hotspots. Search it up, not much to really go by but I think I even have a video on them in my library but yes. No other red fish can be caught that be used to trade in just the 1 unsellable
sadly i get short disconnects on ships. Always have to check if the fisher is below the ship :(

Saw a Damage 20% stat at your ship window and I have same ship but with blue grade cannons and my Damage stat 0% I'm kinda confused how that particular stat works. Have 3 giant sailors and 2 Innocent goblins but I don't think my sailors influence that stat but who knows.
I use all innocents. I just have the green cannon at +10 for sea monster hunting
@TeddyTwighlite Maybe its a stat bug I have +10 Blue Cannon almost all gear on my ship is blue but still 0% Damage stat.. But good to know. I would gladly swap my giants for innocent sailors but don't wanna fire them because I don't have warf space for more sailors though. 👀
I saw a video where they said its a good spot to start fishing in valencia sea and selling it loml island, but ivbeen made like only like 100-200 / 4 hour, i am at a master 4 fishing and trading skillet 9. Do i mess this up or what ? Im only getting green fishes all around maybe 1-2 red and a just a dozen of gold fish. Im mostly afk fishing.

Only the new fish are new. Spots are in the game but the 45 new fish around the game are not on console yet

Depends on where you fish, the amount of fishing resource, Mastery, and lastly which is the most important RNG.

There's spots I haven't been too until after this update that's exhausted to where you don't make anything. Like 8hrs and 2 fish using the crons rod and 2.4-2.8k Mastery

Hey Teddy, love your videos, thanks a lot, i want yo share my experience, im almost guru 8 fishing with 1.4k mastery, fishing in Juur Sea is also not that bad, its not a lot of money, but i can still make 600milions every night.
Where i fish, i just outside nampo sea, when u see on the map Juur Sea, thats the spot, a lot of yellow fish, and some good prize fish!
Yeah I was enjoying fishing in margoria up until my pc lost internet in this snow storm but it was decent money with only 3 28m reds. Did make 670 and 620 in Ross

Do you use maple or ash tree float? People say that you should not use float if you want to catch more Red/Prize fish as it will lessen the chances to get it, is that true?
No real confirmation, I don't use a lure though to test it out for a whole week before using the maple to see

it is still rng, there are days that you will get zero red grade fish
Pretty much ALL RNG with how low these catch chances are with the prize fish
1.2k mastery and only getting 2/3 red a night and maybe a rare or 2 it's not even 20% of what i saw am i realy still too much low looks like the grind is real to get something decent, i have tried velia beach and a nice spot in the sea to compare same not even 100m a night :/
Fishing is based off rng. Of course you can raise your prize catch chance up by 6% but that's it, that's literally the probably of all the new red fish. You'd be better off looking for only the spots with the yellow Corvina, blue bat, and football fish. Their easier to catch even though that's the only fish people go for so it lowers the trade in value. All ya can do is hope
0:13 I am almost certain, that Spot got Nerved on EU Servers right after release, I have not gotten a single Prize Catch Barreleye after the first two days they released the new fishes and fishing areas, while in the first two days I got 4 in total, 1 on day 1 and 3 on day 2. I fished there since then on D3&D4, but no luck since then.
Well sounds like to me all, every single place to fish is nerfed and everyone will go back mob grinding lol good guess its time for 12 more nerfed fishing spots

new mastery or not, do you really think the extra 1.25% matters THAT much.. Game warns people the value of fish will go down the more its traded in and all flock to one spot for one fish expecting more than mob grinding. I don't think Pearl Abyss is doing anything when the tool tips all warned about this, while fishing and trading lololol
@@TeddyTwighlite I'm pretty sure that in a few weeks we will have fewer People Fishing, now it's so overflowing because of the New Prize Catches. Just gotta wait till some get tires of Fishing and/or Grinding becomes more valuable again. It definitely was a weird coincidence to Fish in the same Spot with 10 People on the first two days and catching so many Prize Catches to then suddenly stop afterwards.

I use the 100 slot and depending on the Fishing Resources, if abundant I fill the 100 and maybe 20 after when I wake up to trade them all in. Also depending on the spot depends on if they're the original reds or just the new one but most times 13-30 Reds if they're 10-30% and 5 if they're lower %

Can you show me your Fishing License and your Boating papers, I need to see how big of fish you're pulling up too cause its NOT a fishing event and anything over 500m has to be tossed back in. Sir and or Madam, is that a triple float. Those are illegal in these spots, only Balenos or Fughar until mid june or its a 50b fine. All complaints can be filed with Igor Bartali but I warn you, he's backed up with all the paperwork from the Hakovan Epidemic so it could be weeks.

baremi/cron has always been my fallback when valencia sea, tigris and mediah castle dies, which is almost everyday, so I've been enjoying sunrise and sunset here for few weeks already
I can't wait for this next one to show even more spots so people can start moving around more to help out with the exhausted zones or maybe people will get tired of the lower rates so they movenonto other lifeskills
All of these videos are such BS, they are using the new grandpa fishing rod at max fishing speed with the best pay2win gear and pets you can buy with over 2000 mastery fishing 10+ hours and their average is maybe 800mil (Not a bil) stop letting these videos foul you, I have tried all the spots at 1400 mastery (tri manos where the average player is at) and its an average of 500mil per 10+ hour fishing

That being said I have got high mastery fishing level and have had 24 hrs yeild 5 to 6bill. Average 1.5 to 2bill.
....Not bad for not actually playing the game.

We used to tell people places got nerfed even though they didn’t.
I also used to go data mine after a heated argument because they really believed others, over someone really trying to help.
Data mining is easy . Spend 1 hour with the same buffs and same gear 2 different times noting hot times and node investment when it’s close to the same number or matches bam data. Take the average or in between number and use that as the data you judge by. Some toons grind faster than others like kuno and guardian. So data may very for grinding.
You know Teddy us lifeskillers have said we need equal money making especially in fishing. Even if the servers are empty on console, and can’t make money on the market, we may be able to play again just off barters and fishing.
As a side note - does this seem like it’s becoming a single player game. Maybe they won’t need crimson after all if they keep this up.

ah the good ole i was here first. for the record, 2 hours is not even scratching the surface of starting to be a sample size.
I normally spend a week with the same setup to see how I fair with 48hrs at each just to double check. I dont bother with charts and all since its just a game. I fish because I just want to find all the fish and not trying to make trillions like with mob grinding lol but I know wanting that with Lifeskills is over the top.
Yeah even though we begged to make money and all, a LOT of people have to understand and remember these spots have been here since fishing was added and the values/45 new fish were added lol nothing more with a VERY low catch chance. Its all about the Yellow Corvina/Blue Bats limiting them to JUST the same spots.
This does not mean in ANY way BDO is moving into anything other than updating long needed parts of their game that should've been looked at after the 2018 update introducing Mastery.. Thats like saying because they added new Life Tools PVP and Mob Grinding is being removed lol Dont worry too much about that and worry more about if a feature will be updated or what promises wont be kept from any ball
I have more to come especially with all the new changes, in the middle of recording 12 new fishing spots so keep working on your mastery in preparations for whenever you get the update on Consoles or if you choose to take the leap

@PastorDanplaysboardgames you'd have to get the Mastery increase before tou can get the chairs since they add a total of 400 Mastery which puts you over the cap before 3k

Well... with the right setup and luck, you can get loads of money at Velia beach so the exhausted status isn't such a huge factor 😉

Those are not afk fishing spots... Plus you have to sail back and forth to sell your imperials. I'd rather fish in cities close to Imperial Fishing seller.

Yeah I agree. This doesn't work with the yellow map and being able to head across the map and teleport back in the time limit or or the well they added to OE to help speed up how fast we can get to and from places.
Mob grinding will always be there and works out 100% making 11b a day
