@@Cribbzy The reason your fishing rod lasts much longer is because we have hidden fishing durability reduction resistance from our fishing levels. This affects the rod but not the chair. The calculation I did in this video only applies to fishing rods. However, having higher durability resistance reduction from your costumes, pets etc will help your chair last longer as well.

Thank you for spreadsheet. I only lack 3 premium grifon pets. So My reduction rate moves to %75 percent. And 1/4 of 6 months , 24,000 casts. That exponential increase is huge and thats the p2w minmax part. I need at least 16 premium pets in best case scenario to reach 3 extra t4 pets. And that's total 4.3k pearl if there's no discounts. I'm happy with 24k casts. Because last push to %91 percent is expensive. I can push %83-85 with my last pearls :d . But it gives just extra 1.5 months. I can spend my money much better deals in game ^ ^

Looking at the store the only one I can find that contains durability reduction is the fox but the fox does not come with auto-fishing time reduction and I see one of of your T4 pets do contain auto-fish time reduction + durability reduction. Right now theres a sale on the azure dragon. (770 pearls) Or was. Azure dragon (like he has) you are able to choose to special skill. And also the passive on them. Thats why he has five of them.

You only need 1 pet with auto-fishing time and durability reduction, bc auto-fishing doesn't stack. So you can use other 4 pets that have durability reduction but not auto-fishing talent.
PA should have build resis into all lightstone set blacksmith blessing is totally useless for fishing vs nibbles. Getting dura resist pets makes a huge difference
Why is it useless? The max auto fishing time reduction is 66%. Which you can obtain in other ways. The actual best lightstone set is the 3x patience and 1x iri as it gives the most amount of mastery.
So one of the main reasons I made this video was the grandpa cron's fishing rod. Since that rod already gives max auto fishing time and Triple-float rods are generally used for active fishing, felt that was unnecessary.
This was a really useful video for me, I've never thought about how insanely durability reduction can scale like that! It looks like the only durability reduction pet on sale right now is the turtle. Are there any other variants to look out for other than the papu?
Azure dragon can have auto fishing time and durability reduction resistance. Also with a grandpa cron rod you don’t need any auto fishing time as it by default maxes it out

I hate to say it but this game is very micro-p2w. Most life skills have pearl shop purchases which make you more efficient. It’s not mandatory to be min maxed efficient, I’m just showing here how to do it. Those pets are a significant part of this and make a big difference. But it’s perfectly fine to accept and say hey I’m ok with my grandpa cron rod lasting 3-4 months instead of 6 months. It’s up to you to accept that inefficiently. I do so in many regards throughout BDO where I say “fk dat I’m keeping my money”
Hi, I currently have fishing mastery 1500, guru 6. would it be profitable to use the granda cron at my current state? or should i wait until i hit guru 10 or 20? is it also advisable to atleast hit 2k fishing mastery to get more prize fish? and should i use maple float?
I don't have an archeologists map, I just afk sail to warf and do manual runs to sell fish. Takes 15 min, and I use a travelers map to cut the travel time a bit shorter. Velia is wasteful, I recommend a spot which has 30%/10% on prize fish like Tigris Island or Valencia sea.

Maybe as a tip - worth mentioning that if one has already t4 pets but with different talents, these can be exchanged with a t1 pet with the durability (change appearance to the t1) this way I saved hundreds of dollars and pain of getting a new set of t4 pets. I have a question though - does it mean that using a lvl 49 shai is a nono? We need to be able to use an alt that can equip an awa weapon to reach 91%? Which means we can be ganked? Thanks again!

Hey man, is there any way how to get those pets to T4 without investing insane ammount of pearls? Bcoz there is no fu way i am gonna pay money for 25k+++ pearls just to get 5 types of specific pets. Got one already at T4 before but even so getting 4 others is 770x4 pearls just to get 4 dragons a tier 1 class. Getting them to T4 is complelety another lvl tho. I am not gonna spend over 250 euros to lvl them up so i can use my "one-time-use" rod perfectly. Thanks.
Honestly majority of my pets came over the years from their freebies and me feeding them. Pets are the easiest things to snipe off the market place. Use BDOlytics to see which sell the most and make sure they are the right type , premium or rare. There are combinations with wiz gospheys which will also save some money/pets

Grandpa cron definitely. It acts as a triple float and gives max afk fishing time reduction. Try to max out the durability resistance though, makes a massive difference. Auto fishing caps 66.66%
yikes, you literaly need to hit that 91% durability from equipped items, I dont have 5 durability pets, but I can hit 74% and the drop is dramatic from 111000 to only 40000
Basically you need to go explore and find your own secret spot if you want abundant. My spot went exhausted last night as well, I'll test out some other spots in the next few days :)
You can use Resource filter on top right worldmap [M] brother. the way you read it according reddit is : " Blue is fishing resources in the area with 100% being abundant down to 0% being exhausted, green is resource availabilty for worker nodes and as that goes down the workload for nodes in that area goes up and so may mean it takes longer per job. Each value changes depending on if that area is being overworked or underused. Afaik the value that the yellow bar was meant to indicate was never actually implemented in game but they also never removed the bar. "

Stoneback Crab, Young Griffon, and Turtle also have Durability Reduction Resistance.

I just burnt 900 pearls for science, I can confirm you ARE able to equip awakening weapon skin even as a lvl 49 :)
You can do it with ascension class like archer, scholar, or deadeye

If you're going for max durability then Blacksmith's Blessing. If you're going for AFK fishing, Fishing mastery and/or Fishing exp , then Nibbles

@@stingray5369 she doesnt have awa weapon skins afaik, so you even if you can get the 8th set bonus. you miss the 10% on the piece itself

It caps at 49, you have to do a quest with the blackspirit to uncap and go to 50. Just don't do that :D
