There are really no instructions for this thing in regards to mopping. Can you use a cleaning solution in the water? Should you wet the pad first? I just noticed that a dry pad didn’t really mop anything until halfway through cleaning. I would recommend having detailed mopping guide in the instructions
better instructions are always nice! You don't have to wet the mop, the one in this video had just never been used before, so it took a while to moisten up. As for cleaning solution, they recommend using their own one, but the key is to just use something that is super thin (not a thick or very foaming solution as that can clog in the pipes). This is what I was told, but haven't tried it myself.
Oh, good question. I get the feeling you choose one or the other, otherwise you'd just leav the mop attachment on all the time. But it seemed very easy to change the attachments on and off.
I haven't tested this device at home as yet, but I believe that is how it works, yes. Surprised you can't see it in the app though as well... that seems like something they should have done.
Can I use it to vacuum the outdoor veranda/ porch with heavy-duty tiles, located inside the main gate of my house? It tends to accumulate dust, sand and tree leaf debris etc. when the wind blows.
Should work if you just map it as its own area in the app. I wouldn't try and pick up big leaves though or nuts, stuff a bit sizeable will likely block the system.
Do we need to off the power button when we are not using the robo.i am offing the switch and removing adapter but not sure if need to keep the power button on or not.Can you please suggest
An OVERLOOKED aspect in reviews is WHEEL TRACTION . ) How is it at different levels of mopping (especially on average glossy Tiles) after a week or two ? )Does it take the same duration or more as wheels start to slip and become less efficient? ) Is there any difference when compared to the trajectory of only vaccuming in the uploaded map? TYVM
Wheel traction! Very interesting, I haven't noticed any degradation in that in the reviews I've done. How long do you usually find before it kicks in? Yes, it does seem to take different paths depending on which setting you opt for, and also which rooms.
@@motivatedtravel my ab a fortnight old narwal x Plus started "loosing its grip" and kept going back and forth cleaning the same spot. Assumed it's some software/ navigation issue. @@cravatenoire3269 That's really good to know, will make a note of that in the final review. I don't have glossy tiles in my home on the floor, so haven't encountered this issue.
@@ak_7973 Will have to dig into it further. It could simply mean that the algorithm is better at making use of one. You're unlikely to be going down a passage so thin that it needs to use the brush on both sides at once. Maybe they realised it was just surplass to requirements?
It seems that I need to add water halfway through when mopping, as the 180ml water tank doesn't seem sufficient to mop the entire house in one go. Do I need to wash the mop cloth myself?
@@Adam-m3d Not sure if it makes a sound, but I think you get an app notification (which probably makes a sound). Haven't tested it in my house as yet, so not sure.
Had a old deebot vaccum , very good in mapping and vacuuming. I imagine how better and advanced they are now.
Yeah, it's getting pretty accurate - although still not perfect.

Can I select only vacuuming while the mopping pad is attached? Or I should replace with non-mopping? If yes, may I know how?

Sorry?
Does it Vac n Mop at same time with same attachment?

Is it when i put the water tank and mop on it will go to mopping mode ? Because the app does not have a oppion for me to choose.

Can it clean the rug while applying the mop on ??
I think with this cheaper unit, you're either doing mopping or vacuuming, not both, as it doesn't lift up.

I don't think you need to touch the power button at all. When it goes back to the dock, it just sorts itself out.
Does it Vac n Mop at same time with same attachment?
No, I believe you have to swap the attachment in or out.
Does it have a lidar sensor for mapping
Yes, it does.

N10 seems to have two brushes but N20 has only one?
Yeah, you're right!

I guess it depends on how big your house is, and how dirty it is. I don't think at this price point you get self cleaning

N/Voice helps but might be missed probably.
Does it show All the voiced notifications in the app without fail?
