    but the question is, can you get a slightly more premium robot vacuum e.g. t30s but without the bag similar to this? when is that vacuum coming out?

    Good review!
    That happened to me, too, so i just started the mapping process again, which worked out fine.
    The anti tangle seems to work much better than my downstairs n8, which is always tangling up with hairs.
    The n20 itself does a great job.

    How does the cyclone work, do you need to press anything or is it automated?

    I got mine for Xmas, but can’t figure the mapping, I have a large open lounge kitchen and only keeps to the same are, doesn’t go into the kitchen or lounge room, have the app but I tried again and only goes over same area as before, I noticed it pushed the dog bowl around. But I am excited to have it if I can get it to do the whole house.

    Great review. Looking for a vacuum that's almost 0 maintenance and has obstacle avoidance so it doesn't get stuck on random things on the floor when I'm away. I have experience with Ecovacs and the mapping can be a pain, so I probably will pick another brand this time.

    hey nick ! i have a hallway with 2 bumps on each side, do you think it will go over it

    • @bttrreviews
      @bttrreviews  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It really depends how high the bumps are. The bump from my hallway to my bathroom is about 15mm and it got over that without any issues.
      Hope that helps!

    Does it dry the floor as well ?

    • @bttrreviews
      @bttrreviews  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No. If you use the mop, it just wipes a damp cloth over the top with a bit of vibration to simulate scrubbing. But it dries pretty quickly.

    Great review. Is it a worthy upgrade over n10? I am getting n10 at a great price.

    • @bttrreviews
      @bttrreviews  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Probably not, to be honest. I'd choose an N10 at a great price over the full price N20.
      The N20 has better suction, and probably a bit better battery life, but the mapping is effectively the same, so go for price!
      (Mopping is also slightly better, but still not great, so not much of a differentiator).

    • @t0am1tvats
      @t0am1tvats 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@bttrreviews Thanks alot. So in terms of cleaning and vacuuming they both are comparable right ? And there is nothing major i will miss out on with N10?

    • @bttrreviews
      @bttrreviews  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@t0am1tvats So, excluding the towers, the biggest difference between the N10 and the N20 is maximum suction. N20 is 8000Pa, N10 is 4300Pa. But it typically doesn't go to max suction unless you tell it to.
      The N20 also has the anti-tangle main brush, though it still tangled in my testing.
      Capacity on the N20 robot is 200ml vs the N10's 420ml, so slightly smaller, though irrelevant if using an auto-empty station.
      Otherwise, the vacuums are remarkably similar. They are both entry-level products and can't do things as well as the T-series or X-series, which both have far superior obstacle avoidance for example.
      But ultimately, between the N10 and N20, I don't think you'd miss anything by saving a chunk of change on a discounted N10.
      Hope that helps! Let me know how you get on!
      Also FYI: If you want to read my review of the N10 Plus, it's here: www.bttr.reviews/ecovacs-deebot-n10-plus-review/ (before I started doing video)

    An OVERLOOKED aspect in reviews is WHEEL TRACTION .
    Especially with the Downward Pressure Applied?
    ) How is it at different levels of mopping (especially on average glossy Tiles) after a week or two ?
    )Does it take the same duration or more as wheels start to slip and become less efficient?
    ) Is there any difference when compared to the trajectory of only vaccuming in the uploaded map?
    Did you face similar issues on your previous robots?
    Know any easy fix?

    nice review! how about mopping?

    • @bttrreviews
      @bttrreviews  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Oh wow, I forgot to discuss mopping here, didn't I?
      I used the mopping feature once, and wasn't impressed, so didn't really use it again.
      The first challenge I have is that the mopping unit is a separate attachment. You need to remove the back of the vacuum to insert the mop unit (pre-filled with water) to make it work. That's too much effort for me for a tool that you want to automate your cleaning routine.
      The second issue is that these types of mops in particular do little more than smear dirty water behind the vacuum as it works around the home. This one has a vibrating function that does help to scrub the floors more than the last generation, but it's still not a great performance.
      If mopping is an important feature for you, I think you need to shift up to the mid-tier at least, with the circular mopping pads that can do a better job of scrubbing, and auto-empty stations that will wash those mop pads for you.
      Thanks for the feedback! I hope this helps :)

      @@bttrreviews thanks for the answer! I have dogs and I was looking to a vacuum that have a large internal bin to avoid to clog it in minutes 🤣🤣. When you use the mop feature the unit can still vacuum or it's like the model shark ai360?

    Does ecovacs n20 pro comes with Lidar technology?
    like ecovacs y1 pro
    because its not mentioned on the website

    • @bttrreviews
      @bttrreviews  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      From what I can tell, the N20 Pro uses Laser Radar rather than LiDAR technology.
      This guide breaks down the differences quite well I think: lidarnews.com/articles/whats-the-difference-between-laser-radar-and-lidar-technology/

      @bttrreviews  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Not sure - the y1 Pro isn’t available in Australia so I can’t really comment on that one. The n20 is better than the n10, but not by a huge amount. So if you can find the n10 cheap, I’d lean that way.

    I will stop watching your video 1:23 into it as the Eureka E10s came out earlier this, so you don't seem to be update to date on vacuums. I got it for $400, right now its on sale for $300.
