Just grabbed one of these for mine, sounds like it’s exactly what I need, currently have a 56mm hybrid turbo, fuel pump metering valve upgrade, downpipe and the same cold air intake as you, mapped at 237hp and 511nm but feels restricted or held back when you’re cruising off boost
@@lifeofwill8824 I had the xman muffler delete before the darkside one that goes with this charge pipe, assume cos I’m running a hybrid turbo with 2 bar of boost mapped with the standard charge pipe I’ve now lost some boost control so it feels laggy and really drops off boost when you drive casually, will be getting the map tweaked to regain full boost control and hopefully max the turbo out to 2.2 bar, should see 250hp and it’ll obviously drive a lot better. The mapper said at the time he couldn’t get the air in to raise the boost so I assume it was the standard charge pipe restricting airflow.

I want to ask that by fitting the new turbo pipe like the forge pipe and in your other video the air intake pipe. how does this affect the performance and does bhp increase. Is it worth doing? i'm not into mods but a few tweaks like you have done seem to make sense. Cheers Fella
i know this is a late reply, but you will see a performance increase but its negligible. obviously depending on your cars hardware, like how restrictive the stock air box is or turbo mufflers and exhaust etc, it can range from usually like 5-25% increase. usually things like air intakes and turbo pipes are just modifications you do for the noise, specifically the un-muffled intake as it can give you some nice blow off and turbo chatter
I would like to do the same air intake sistem but I was wondering if this substitution is functional and if it, wich are the advantages.. Sorry for my bad english but I'm italian😂🤌🏼

I’d say the turbo muffler delete will definitely help relieve some restriction on air flow at least 👌🏻

Just much less restricted airflow my man so the turbo and work more efficiently and get more boooooost
Did you had problems too connect the pipe to the intercooler ?
This engine is charge cooled so it actually doesn’t have an intercooler but there were no problems reinstalling the charge pipe after wrapping it 👍🏻

Couldn’t probably do with a tune to get full advantage of everything but I haven’t just yet and she runs just fine
Noticed any difference to the standard one?
Feels like the turbo spools earlier and there’s more of a pull once you hit boost
