Really interesting. I do enjoy these videos, you’re equally as good as Ryan I’d say. It’s good to see work on cars that aren’t mega expensive and to see something that’s tangible to achieve. I have a mk7 GT Golf and would love to see something like that as a project where you build it up to say a road/ track or maybe hill climb but in stages over a number of months. It’s probably too similar to a GTD, but we can’t all afford GTDs as a base. Thanks

Optically dezent... I have to come to you! Did you change the injectors?

Bit of a random question but when you take the box out do you literally leave the OS complete ie no ball joint separation just undo the drive shaft from the flange??? Must remember that next one I do save even more time. 👍👍👍
Ive got a GTC1556VZ billet turbo (30 psi boost), S3 intercooler, 2200 rail pressure sensor, 4bar map sensor, 2.5" turbo back exhaust, EGR blanked & uprated turbo outlet damper & wonder now could i get more than the 240bhp im running? Is the standard air filter a restriction?
Tuning abilities .., you’re a inventor in diesel tuning so you should be able to make something for other manufacturers 2. Further fiat and Renault 2 make relaible diesel engines , some even more relaible than some VAG ,bmw engines. Bmw 2 uses common rail diesels like Renault and fiat .
I had a turbo let go on my pd130 bora and ended up having to bolt a pdk assembly into my gt1749 exhaust housing as they were different exhaust side..... Fingers crossed it seems to be fine over 1000 miles later...... You guys know better than I do..... Is it a ticking bomb or should it be okay? 🤷♂️

Was an oil cooler fitted?
Apparently the Ring is known for engines getting very hot and an oil cooler is needed if going round many time.

Cr140 is what it would have started as
Came to us a few years ago with 147bhp, we tuned it to 183 and now it's been brought back for 253bhp seen in the video

How reliable are the 2006 Audi A4 3.0tdi? (Manual) any suggestions?
They're not too bad and fairly tuneable

Usually the sound when either the CAT or exhaust boxes are removed.. my 3.0tdi does it since I removed backboxes..
Its the control of the vanes in the turbo but usually only audible when the exhaust has no restrictions

Yes and yes, well it has metering valve upgrade

Youre a diesel tuner. But are you ever gonna do something none VAG ? Cause there are more manufacturers with diesels. Fiat, Renault , vauxhall etc
Probably not, vag/bmw/mini/porsche is what we specialise in, based on their reliability and tuning ability

You would need to get some data by logging it, check boost pressures. If these are safe and it was all cleaned out properly then you should be ok.
