This is a good idea. Mike and Evan have the same opinion some of the time while disagreeing on only a few things. TJ is a good fit because it’s good to have a third opinion and his explanations about his disagreements with the other two are solid.
Saw them live in Atlanta a few days ago and can confirm that same snare kid was absolutely going for it with every facial expression. Fun as hell to watch, though.
Great video as always! Do you guys have any plans to react drop a podcast about predictions for DCI Finals? Troopers, Colts, and Mandarins have all been super impressive for me and it’ll be a dogfight for the 10-14 spots imo
In snare land, i think this resonance is just because the top heads are too low. I think they could use a little more attack to their sound. Bluecoats probably have the best mix of articulation and resonance to me.
@@tjchoquette2902 Personally it sounds like Cadets’ snares would benefit from a Black or White Max head with this same tuning scheme. I just really enjoy all the snare drum tuning I’m hearing so far - except BD I guess, but you can’t win em all. Boston might have the most perfect snare drum sound I’ve ever heard, and I haven’t even seen them in person.
I (Evan) marched crown 2009 and 2010 and rhythm X 2010,11, and 12. Mike marched Blue Stars in 2010 and Bluecoats in 2012. Also rhythm x in 2011 and 2012 TJ marched bluecoats 2012, and then MCM 2012 and 13
That martini isn’t “aged out” bro In 81 I watch kalkaufen and float who was throwing us beers out of the golf cart crash at full speed into the guardsmen drum trailer, where’s the real age outs here???
I wish that kid would stop trying to stick out with facials, and head moves distinct from the rest of the line. Too much "me, me, me" like celebrating in the end zone.
Tj should be a permanent part of the react videos.

I AGREEE !!
Everyone like that comment!!!
TJ is a dawg. Keep ‘em around. Speaks the truth
I couldn’t agree more
Mike got his decorations from every room I used to smoke weed/play video games in during college.
😂🤣

1977-1980 Cadet Snare and 1981-1984 Drum Staff here. Thanks for the comments.
Tom’s writing = Cadets identity
Another dope video from the podcast. Thanks for shouting me out. if you guys ever need any video I got you.

Yes we do plan on doing a mid season podcast and predictions for finals!
Excellent commentary, guys.
So much resonance coming off the drums, from everyone this year. Me likey.

Did you notice that tenor with his belly pad upside down
Dude good times! I want to turn it up but I can't cuz the voices are blowing out the audio
Haha, encourage to go check out the original video without or commentary as well!
I am not even halfway through the video and TJ has me dead with laughter!
Vanguards have competition ,very tight snareline and quads are dynamic and they will clean and tempo up.
For the algorithm. ✊
You guys are definitely awesome and I love the content. TJ would be a great addition to the crew!
TJ video FOR THE WIN!!!
I also have GeneThe3rd respect.
You guys should watch mandarins!!

TJ for the win, the met comment had me dying
2012 crossmen reaction or even 2012 scouts would be nice
TJ's not interested in pants
Just the sweet jacket! Haha
They start out wearing jackets

You guys should react the cavies book, that shit is wack… and not in the good way either
my man Gregg is PASSIONATE about Cavies' wackness!
We are waiting for a recent video to show up but cavvies will get a video. They haven’t done a show in a minute due to Covid I believe.
@@tjchoquette2902 aye man… My passion for wackness is a lost art.
