YEAH HOMIE! Thom Augnst th's aren't exactly the exact same as a regular pair of sticks so I can't imagine how hard they worked to clean them, and on god the quad features are solid as a mf brick
9:02 the rep 9:17 the confirmation that is was a perfect rep 👌🏻💪🏻🔥 If it was that good on video, I am an ENVIOUS of anybody who got to see this in person. Well done all. Well done.
I’m sure all of the people complaining about dirt here have marched this caliber of drum corps, or some sort of professional music. 🙄 Love the tuning btw. The amount of individual responsibility and subtlety these kids are showcasing is mind boggling. Maybe there is some perceived “dirt.” Who the fuck cares? This is art at its finest, and these kids are performing their asses off in a spectacular way. Bravo, Cadets!
I mean I think most people watching DCI content have marched SOMEWHERE and many have marched remarkable lines Just cause you haven’t marched an insane line doesn’t mean your criticism is invalid. I don’t understand why people have this idea that only “expert opinions” are relevant It’s kinda gate keeping tbh
@@stephenskokan5607 why is it that marching band experience is the only qualification one requires to judge marching band on TH-cam? Plenty of people march top corps and don't really know what they're doing. And plenty of people are very musically experienced without having marched drum corps. Where I have or haven't marched has no effect on the achievement level on display in this video.
Nah hes right I have 2 years of dci and I help teach my college line and a lot of hand transitions during 8s were a little fuzzy. This wasnt a REALLY clean lot. No disrespect though cus they shedding notes
You were just dazzled by how loud it was. Now that you are calm and watching the video, you hear everything you didn't hear before. This is how they sounded.
Check the comments below regarding our microphone placement - likely the reasoning for the dirt. Couldn't get it in a good spot so it unfortunately had to sit closer to the side of the battery.
This lot was absolutely piss-clean in person. Every note ripped me a new one. Videos can't compare.

You are mistaken. This is how they sounded.
Dispite the dirt the Cadets always has the most raw books ever. Their battery always plays sick shit every year and never disappoints.
Light and slight, BUT DAMN they're VICIOUS on them Yamaha 🥁s bud😎!
Best quad line, no question

12:29 - this break will forever be my favorite quad break and dear lord if that was not as close to a perfect rep as you can get.
I see you couldn't put the mic in front. Know the problem too well haha. good vid 6am

An undeniable drumline

This line had me SHOOK 00, 05 90's. Cadets 🥁 line echo's have returned to some of their grassroots (Championship) writing.
👌
Love that tenor tuning. Wow!
Basses too!
You can hear the quads?
Kinda weird how in person this shit sounded crazy good, but in the vid it’s sub-par
Lines always sound dirty from the side even in person

Connor Mallard You are mistaken. Get angry, and you will unhear everything you heard. This is not how they sounded.
@@alexneagu8212 You can hear when they are playing together, and then hear when they dirted out. How is that not enough proof for you?
@@connormallard9021 Why is your objective to come on a video and point out the obvious? Do you want a cookie?
Tom Aungst and Paul Nalesnik (im guessing that they wrote the book) if you 2 are reading this, this is a meaty book. Thank you.
8TH NOTES!!!! 8TH NOTES!!!!
Killed me 😂😂😂😂
10:35 “C’mon snares! Let’s do this!”
LOL um they’re doing it, bro. They done did it too.
Phenomenal stick height!
Damn good drumline.
God bless everyone🙏❤
This seasons book was so loud and hectic but I fuckin love it.
Outstanding!!!
Tks for the show!!!
Who was writing the drum book 2017-2019 after McNutt left to Boston?
Tom Aungst, primarily. I believe Paul Nalesnik wrote a few sections though, particularly in 19. Definitely some of the features, at least
0:00 8s
1:53 finger control
3:32 double beat
We have the same drums as them lol, same color everything
someone had one too many in the lot

dude, sick ears! Nice!
Tenors need to buy a level.
Also-- they kick ass, so fuck me.
The drums ran from them I guess.
