I've found way more rare crates than 8 but that was when we had raids. Ever since they removed raids I rarely seen them but I know they are there/around I just dont go looking for them.
I "invented" a ayatan sculpture farm back in the day, and learned every spawn location on that mission tileset combo. In about 1 min i would know if it spawned or not. Then reload. There were a lot of benefits, including no enemies until i start mission, and relative small tileset. Just got some music and went full on treasure hunter. ( i didnt like where others went to for farming)
Quick tip. If golden instinct shows a hit at or near spawn, but nothing after running into the map the rare item is near extract and the map’s shape is a big U. Run to extract and cast again.
Agreed. I spent 5 mins once trying to figure out where the kuria/loot/item was in a grineer planet/shipyard spawn tile (the landing pad over the acid lakes next to a gantry and tower but the trace kept flying out into the “open terrain” finally gave up and 2/3 the way into the mission the trace finally un-lemminged and started to aim for more localised kuria. I must have jumped into the off-map barrier-reset 50 times while trying to figure out where the loot/scan-target was on that run.

Also, if the GI spark goes right through the walls, it means the statue or crate is in one of those challenge rooms, so look for one of then. It doesn't lead you directly there, because the spark follows the AI nav mesh, and since those areas aren't supposed to have enemies, it just beelines right at the target instead.
One pretty important thing is to make sure that you have the orbiter set as your base and not the drifter camp cause it increases loading time a lot from my experience
I've been doing a lot of syndicate missions recently to try to max those out, looking around for the medallions have lead me to find a lot more rare crates and sculptures than I usually do. I was just thinking that they might be more common than I previously thought, and here's a video on how to farm them easier, perfect timing!
Ah cool. I didn't understand why Kengineer's hit rate for rare crates and sculptures was so low compared to my experience. I only hunt in syndicate missions, so that explains it.
I hope if you're doing syndicates you're also finding every medallion. They stack up over time and bypass the standing limit. A few years ago I made a post about why arent people looking for medallions. The jest of it was that most people were just lazy based on their replies "oH cArEs. Do you also pick up every penny you see in the road" Literally brain dead smooth brained replies from these people. On average you can get minimum 8k extra standing just looking for all medallions. You're guaranteed a 3 tier medallion in every syndicate mission equalling 5k. I'm always getting average 10k standing looking for medallions. But again you cant help those that want it. Only when they need it is when they ask. Better to have it than not.
You can also farm forma through this method on the Zariman, where you probably already farm voidplumes. It is probably not as efficient for forma or ayatan sculptures as void capture, but the voidplumes are a nice bonus

Just from the title I knew what the farm was going to be, I used to run these rare crate runs with my friends years ago when octavia released and all we had was loot radar and Limbo's Cataclysm. Glad to know the farm is much easier now.

the true cheese strat is doing this on infested salvage because the tile is super small and as soon as you find an ayatan, you inv friends to pick it up and have the host quit out of the mission allowing everyone but the host to keep the sculptures.
Another thing you didn't mention is the codex entries. For people that care about completing their codex, this farm is amazing for filling out those reinforced crate entries. For this reason in particular, I'd really love to see a video covering the Zariman rare crates, and even though they're not in the codex, the rare/reinforced crates on anomalies in Railjack missions as well~ Edit: forgot to say great video, lots of helpful tips! Hopefully DE doesn't ruin this farm too-
Also is a great method to farm loot crate if you build it correctly if you know the place inside out you can clear entire map of loot crate under 10 minutes with limbo

I also recommend having the Oxilus sentinel with you on many of the tile sets in these farms runs. The added zero effort plant scans can add up nicely in terms of son tokens if you get in the mood to do some vulp/pred muta/anti-gen mass production (10 son tokens per lvl 30 pet handed in, worth it if you have the mats to spare, likewise for anyone still farming apothic for the hidden grove spectre farms)
He made a point of stressing that this isn't a forma farm, it's an endo farm with occasional forma. Relic cracking is much, *much* faster for gathering forma, a couple hours will leave you with dozens of BPs and you just build them passively, plus prime stuff to trade for plat -> buy forma if you're impatient

Even if you have over a hundred friends, the chances of having 3 of them available, with the helminth level and all the other things they need, as well as being on the same page as you with the same amount of time to spend on this... are mighty slim.
@@Kababalax True words. I am MR Leg. 1 and able to do all that, but most of my friends are 20 or below, and not properly evolved in game to be that geared. Heck, 9 years into this game and I'm STILL waiting for my few friends to be prepared enough so we can start going Rathuum Arena for Endo, just for comparison (friends come and go, they never stick around long to be on top of this game so we can have enough veterans to coordinate raids like this). Besides, I've been using this "Golden Instinct" ability for ages now on other frames (specially solo Loki), but never thought about Lavos...
Not sure if this has been mentioned already, but you can spawn a rare container on Lua via solving the music trial puzzle. Run the capture mission on Lua...
Going of Ken's stats, he got 18 hits per hour with a team, and 12.6 per hour solo. Having friends definitely helps a lot, but it's entirely feasible to do this farm by yourself.
I like to use Gauss with Max range, you literally crash into walls to destroy everything in a good radius, the shockwaves ignore walls so it is perfect to to run and clear rooms, plus, Gauss has a nice aoe spam to quickly finish missions.
You'll only get an affinity or credit booster from rare and reinforced crates. Detonite Injectors and Fieldrons are affected by resource boosters, the forma is not.
I remember farming octavia on lua with the music room which had a 10-15 % chance for a rare crate that can drop a built forma, this was over 5 years ago. Good times thanks for the nostalgia.

depending on how you feel about archwing combat, the jordas assasinate on eris, it’s quite similar only being about 4-6 tiles and having a quite quick completion time
The other thing, is that void capture mission is also great for farming relics. You can get liths from the low level and mesos/neos from the other so at a cut to your efficieny you can get new prime relics while also farming your rares
Personally, I use Zephyr for treasure hunting. I also use max range mods and subsume her 4th for golden instinct. Her second smashes all crates in a huge area and her 1st makes her quick, her 3rd allows to ignore enemies. Don’t know why no one suggest her for looting
1) Tailwind suffers from the Same issue as Mach Rush... It's Far too Linear and can't be Steered. Also Void Sling is just Pocket Tailwind. 2) limbo & Xaku have Bigger and Better Crate Popping Abilities. 3) Limbo and Xaku can Also Ignore Enemies. To summarise.... Nobody Suggested her simply because She Does what the Other Two Do Already But much Worse ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@@lookalike4805 Yes but you can farm affinity with stealth or sanctuary onslaught, endo, with sedna or arbitrations, creds, with the spider, or index... this one covers a few of them, so its an extra system for farming, and thats always apreciated.

the spawn of void containers in kind of "weighted" in the void. Back when there was orokin keys from frame parts, lots of people knew how to find those rare containers. I was getting a forma every few other maps without really trying that hard nor slowling down the mission. Since the existence of those parkour stuffs it has switched a bit. Zariman is probably better now because of those tiles.
The 20 sec cool-down is still a PITA, especially if you still have random kuria placed within tile geometry confusing it. Luckily tryouts get used to it quickly and you only need an occasional hint if you are running an AoE box break build with sufficient loot radar and vacuum/fetch
If you don’t care about the ayatan just speed running lua missions looking for the guaranteed crate in the Octavia puzzle is great source of built forma without a team or even optimized builds
I recently started fresh on pc and I have already found more than 8 rare containers without golden instinct or parallax. The secret is knowing what I call “red flag spots”. Rare containers and ayatan sculptures do not spawn in regular container locations but rather in their own unique spots. They share these spawn locations with cephalon fragments, soma chords, frame fighters, and syndicate medallions. Using loot radar you can see if a container spawns in a “red flag spot”. This is especially good for new players as endo isn’t abundant and ayatan sculptures help immensely and they don’t have access to golden instinct or parallax.
I used to do Rare crate farms way back when Void Keys was a thing. Back then the rare mods and drops were totally worth it, so i have found a bunch of them. But now with Golden Intrinsicts, this is such a chill farm when you just wana sit down and chat with your mates.
I figured this out years back. Another tip, do some quick math, if u have 400 range and the capture target is 600 away and golden instinct hits at the start you are usually good to run to the 200m away point to try again, it will either point to the room to clear or have u back track. Great video
I already have a treasure hunter zaku, but I used it to find plumes and I didn't think rare crates would be so not rare. Although come to think of it, I already got 2 aircraft sets from Zariman rare chests without even knowing how they look.

imo, farming relic staff is more profitable, because sometimes it drops you item for 30-50 plat from a random relic, which you can sell and buy whatever you want
Funny to see your video pop up as I was using this strategy on Xaku for getting the last Kuria I'm missing. So yeah quick tip, this is great to farm for Kuria as well.
The lua exterminate mission has a chance to spawn the Orokin crates. It also has a chance to spawn the Octavia puzzle which also has a chance to spawn a built forma.
Any idea if golden instinct picks up the Lua music room crate before the room has been solved? The crate in that room has a 1/8 chance to drop a forma, but the room itself spawns very often.
I'm going to all throw in Zephyr as a great choice for a frame to farm here. Her 2 can be used to break containers and benefits from range, her 1 can be used to move fast, and her 4 is an easy subsume target. If you don't have the parallax, this makes her a really good choice for blowing up all the loot containers in a room and moving on while looking for the goods.
I think one thing that's worth noting about farming Forma this way versus popping relics for them; The relics only give you 1 forma every 23 hours (not counting with selling the loot for plat and buying the forma pack for plat from the market). This is due to the blueprint construction limitation.
That's a nice strategy. A long time ago I was using limbo with max range to cast bubble and destroy all crates around and look for loot with hunter instinct. I found couple aytan sculptures this way even though I was looking for different resources
If you are poor or new, you can go for cheap solution and invest in loot detection aura (this aura can show sculptures as crate icon) , and expand it with thieft wit, animal instinct and this one mod with increase aura strenght, and then go on any mission you want to, for example grind warframes for hermits for faster level up, in meantime running around with looting aura and carrier in your limbo warframe (i suggest to put as much ability range, as you are capable of) and just cast your cataclysm ability in rooms, when crates are open they will dissapear from radar, so if you see crate icon after casting ability, its high chance that its sculpture. by the way, aura can show other stuff with normally dont show on radar other parts for this you can configure or find out yourself, this above is just example.
Underrated frame for speed is Hydroid with tidal surge you can activate it back to back and jump out of it carrying the momentum of the surge amd immediately surge again. But naturally youd need a ton of efficiency to make full use of this otherwise youll be hunting orbs a lot lol.
1:25 I’ve seen then quite a few times over the last month but I didn’t know what that symbol meant so I kinda just ignored it as I couldn’t interact with it I thought it was something I haven’t done a mission for yet so I couldn’t get it. I am using Xaku so he makes finding stuff like sculptures and the like much easier.

Haven't scrolled through all the comments yet (and also didn't hear this place said in the listing of different rare crates at the beginning of the video) but I saw only one other mention that the Zariman has a rare crate too!!! It's called "Molted Cask" and has a coiled, spring-like design. So there's actually 4 "factions" that have rare crates in the game that I'm aware of. Grineer, Corpus, Orokin, and Zariman. Looking at my Codex now, it seems that each faction has AT LEAST 2 rare crates. Grineer: 3. (Rare Grineer Storage Container, Reinforced Grineer Storage Container, & Forgotten Grineer Storage Container (Earth-based as it's covered in moss/grass) Corpus: 2. (Rare Corpus Storage Container, & Reinforced Corpus Storage Container. Maybe I'm missing one?) Orokin: 3? (Rare Orokin Storage Container and two "undiscovered" entries that, when looked at closely, the silhouettes seem to have a "handle" that resembles Orokin design and one looks like it matches what shows in the first second of this video.) Zariman: 3? (Molted Cask, and one "undiscovered" entry that has a similar shape to the Cask next to it, but I'm unsure. I could be assuming. I also assume there's a 3rd that is yet to have a Codex entry or just won't appear until I scan it since almost everybody else has 3.)
Man I wish I had the sanity plus gear to do this, worst thing is it's only a 30 min booster, the booster is probably used by the time you get another booster.
My brain is so tired that you sound like a really nice Ballas. Also you can do this on Oestrus Eris the infested salvage mission cause the tileset is so tiny. Sadly you won't get forma, only fieldron. But you will get lots of sculps.
I came up with this idea like half a year ago and started looking for orokin rare containers and the rare ones on earth for scans. Personally i used titania. In like 2 hours i managed to get all the codex scans i needed took like 40 runs or 50 runs in capture missions. On zariman on the other hand is different story not only that zariman missions have also rate containers but orokin eye interfere with pinions so its much harder to find the rate crates
Rather than specifically hunting rare containers, I run Hepit a lot to collect relics anyway, and using golden instinct on every map is just a nice bonus.
Found Galatea can be a good source as well, am now trying to farm in a sequence 1. Hepit, 2. Mariana, 3. Skyresh, 4. Galatea to see if there's better odds,lol.
Have you considered running a longer mission and having the four players find out whether they have a rare cache or a sculpture before inviting everyone else? That would mean no endo, but you would probably be finding rare caches at a much higher rate because all four players spend more time looking.
I'm not sure I understand your suggestion. All four players load missions independently and scan the whole mission with their abilities right from spawn. The endo comes from the sculptures found in the process. What's the difference you're actually suggesting?
@@TheKengineer The process of investigating a Golden Instinct ping takes several minutes. If you don't care about endo, then you would rather have the other 3 players looking for more pings during that delay. The problem is that in capture missions, the objective is considered complete (preventing other players from joining) basically as soon as the player leaves the spawn, so they need to stay still until everyone has joined. What if instead everyone selected some other mission that allowed them to explore before inviting their friends. That way they could determine whether it is a rare cache before having everyone else drop what they are doing. I suspect an exterminate should allow the other players to join even after a few of the enemies have died, but perhaps there is a still better option.
At 9:09 I think you put a box up with a typo/spelling mistake: Dedicated group became deciated group. Good news if forma can be got faster than once every 24 hours by crafting them.
When doing daily missions with randoms. I found it's best to use base 100 range and constantly use Golden Instinct every few rooms until something is detected. There's no slowdown or cooldown when it says the "area is barren". From what I've noticed, Orokin Eye has a slight lower range than Golden Instinct. Using Orokin Eye, when Golden Instinct finds something, is highly likely to show the rare item location without having to constantly wait for cooldowns. Another good thing about this strategy is that it doesn't hold players back from extracting. If players are looking for Forma. I'd also recommend Lua. The music room, that requires copying the floor plates, spawns a rare create with a chance of a Forma. I think there been a time I got 2 Forma from 1 mission. The music puzzle rare create and the natural rare create. I have had 2 missions in a row getting a Forma from music room. It still requires luck for music room to spawn also. Another good thing is, the puzzle is always uses the same order of floor plates to press.
I'd argue a large loot radar is more(if not most) important to the hunt...I used to find a good amount of these rare crates just making sure there was no visible loot containers left in sight anywhere I went. long before the helminth was even a thing...ofc I'm not the person to do things quickly, but I've always subscribe to the idea that doing something completely but taking a long time is equal to doing the bare minimum repeatedly.
I used a max range Xaku & golden instinct to find the Kuria & I cant remember finding a single rare crate in all of the run. I think the Orokin music puzzle is a better way to farm rare caches for forma
If you're doing this with more than two people it's better to have two builds ready each, one build with max range for checking the map and one build with slightly less than 150 golden instinct range for when joining someone else's map at witch point you run through the map towards the exit constantly spamming instinct until you get a cast at witch point you use orokin eye. Slightly less than 150m isn't enough to cover the map but it's enough to cover all rooms almost all the time when running from start to extraction.
I find the rare crates with built forma on lua while farming drift mods. I took your advice on golden instinct, but put over thermal sunder on my normal gauss since his mach rush can break boxes through walls.
Oh thats why i got most of the landing parts.. I found alot of them but most people dont break chests like i do. Instead they just run ahead leaving everything behind & missing half the game, Even those that actually can't even do better than others. Tend to just run run & run, Its like a world of Forest Gumps.. I never understood it, outside of speed farming something, But in warframe thats all every one does, the people who dc because they can't wait .0005 seconds longer...

I have done about 1000 of this missions ignoring all voidplumes and i have just got one ancient molted cask and 3 molted cask
Yes, but capture is faster than exterminate. So if you aren't looking for plumes, it's better to just stick to the void.

It’s a method I personally use. Tons of forma, and ayatans. I use limbo instead of Lavos, since cataclysm means I also find plenty of ayatan stars.

Reinforced crates used to spawn often in the old raids. That was how I got all the ship parts and forma.
The Augment for Lavos' 1 should also be quite useful providing additional cd reduction especially since you will already mod him for huge range

For me I like farming Relics for Forma better. It drops often enough and here and there you get some rare parts...

You don't have to wait for Anything.... Just sell the Items you Farmed and Buy a Formal Bundle.... It's Faster and less Repetitive. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
He made a point of stressing that this isn't a forma farm, it's an endo farm with occasional forma. Relic cracking is much, *much* faster for gathering forma, a couple hours will leave you with dozens of BPs and you just build them passively, plus prime stuff to trade for plat -> buy forma if you're impatient

Even if you have over a hundred friends, the chances of having 3 of them available, with the helminth level and all the other things they need, as well as being on the same page as you with the same amount of time to spend on this... are mighty slim.
@@Kababalax True words. I am MR Leg. 1 and able to do all that, but most of my friends are 20 or below, and not properly evolved in game to be that geared. Heck, 9 years into this game and I'm STILL waiting for my few friends to be prepared enough so we can start going Rathuum Arena for Endo, just for comparison (friends come and go, they never stick around long to be on top of this game so we can have enough veterans to coordinate raids like this). Besides, I've been using this "Golden Instinct" ability for ages now on other frames (specially solo Loki), but never thought about Lavos...
Not sure if this has been mentioned already, but you can spawn a rare container on Lua via solving the music trial puzzle. Run the capture mission on Lua...
Going of Ken's stats, he got 18 hits per hour with a team, and 12.6 per hour solo.
Having friends definitely helps a lot, but it's entirely feasible to do this farm by yourself.
I like to use Gauss with Max range, you literally crash into walls to destroy everything in a good radius, the shockwaves ignore walls so it is perfect to to run and clear rooms, plus, Gauss has a nice aoe spam to quickly finish missions.
You'll only get an affinity or credit booster from rare and reinforced crates.
Detonite Injectors and Fieldrons are affected by resource boosters, the forma is not.
You also don't get the boosters, when you finish the mission you won't have it. They are bugged.
Consider forma is not a resource for God unknown reasons any booster won't have the effects
I remember farming octavia on lua with the music room which had a 10-15 % chance for a rare crate that can drop a built forma, this was over 5 years ago. Good times thanks for the nostalgia.
I spent so much time there, I remember the rush of getting to that spot and then the disappointment of not seeing the crate :)

Infested salvaje (where you farm nidus)in Eris is literally a 2 tileset map you can find corpus rare and reinforced crates there
depending on how you feel about archwing combat, the jordas assasinate on eris, it’s quite similar only being about 4-6 tiles and having a quite quick completion time
This map is great.
The other thing, is that void capture mission is also great for farming relics. You can get liths from the low level and mesos/neos from the other so at a cut to your efficieny you can get new prime relics while also farming your rares

Personally, I use Zephyr for treasure hunting. I also use max range mods and subsume her 4th for golden instinct. Her second smashes all crates in a huge area and her 1st makes her quick, her 3rd allows to ignore enemies. Don’t know why no one suggest her for looting
1) Tailwind suffers from the Same issue as Mach Rush... It's Far too Linear and can't be Steered. Also Void Sling is just Pocket Tailwind.
2) limbo & Xaku have Bigger and Better Crate Popping Abilities.
3) Limbo and Xaku can Also Ignore Enemies.
To summarise.... Nobody Suggested her simply because She Does what the Other Two Do Already But much Worse ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@@lookalike4805 I wouldnt do this as a farm for the reason you said, the same way i wouldnt do hydron, or farm capture in void for more than 5 runs for relics.. but i can see myself trying this 30 minutes with some friends, then arbitration 1 hour, then.. dunno, probably i would farm something else instead of endo to not burn myself, but as a part of a cicle, its nice to know it exists

No it does not. The rare crate on Lua has a 25% chance to drop a forma.

the spawn of void containers in kind of "weighted" in the void. Back when there was orokin keys from frame parts, lots of people knew how to find those rare containers. I was getting a forma every few other maps without really trying that hard nor slowling down the mission. Since the existence of those parkour stuffs it has switched a bit. Zariman is probably better now because of those tiles.
You forgot the most important reason for hunting rare crates: codex completion
lua, music puzzle room tend to drop a fully built forma.
Though I do a deep bow, kneel and deep bow again to ensure the RNG is good XD
Its a 25% chance iirc, but since you get a rare crate guaranteed, its a great way to force them

For once I knew about a build before TheKengineer did! I’ve had a Golden Instinct Lavos loadout for a while, it’s very useful.

The 20 sec cool-down is still a PITA, especially if you still have random kuria placed within tile geometry confusing it.
Luckily tryouts get used to it quickly and you only need an occasional hint if you are running an AoE box break build with sufficient loot radar and vacuum/fetch

I recently started fresh on pc and I have already found more than 8 rare containers without golden instinct or parallax. The secret is knowing what I call “red flag spots”. Rare containers and ayatan sculptures do not spawn in regular container locations but rather in their own unique spots. They share these spawn locations with cephalon fragments, soma chords, frame fighters, and syndicate medallions. Using loot radar you can see if a container spawns in a “red flag spot”. This is especially good for new players as endo isn’t abundant and ayatan sculptures help immensely and they don’t have access to golden instinct or parallax.

I used to do Rare crate farms way back when Void Keys was a thing.
Back then the rare mods and drops were totally worth it, so i have found a bunch of them. But now with Golden Intrinsicts, this is such a chill farm when you just wana sit down and chat with your mates.
I figured this out years back. Another tip, do some quick math, if u have 400 range and the capture target is 600 away and golden instinct hits at the start you are usually good to run to the 200m away point to try again, it will either point to the room to clear or have u back track. Great video

I already have a treasure hunter zaku, but I used it to find plumes and I didn't think rare crates would be so not rare.
Although come to think of it, I already got 2 aircraft sets from Zariman rare chests without even knowing how they look.

imo, farming relic staff is more profitable, because sometimes it drops you item for 30-50 plat from a random relic, which you can sell and buy whatever you want

I just finished maxing my helminth today unlocking golden instinct. perfect timing to try out a new fun thing to do.
The lua exterminate mission has a chance to spawn the Orokin crates. It also has a chance to spawn the Octavia puzzle which also has a chance to spawn a built forma.
Another thing that could help is running a tonfa for the extra bullet jump velocity

Any idea if golden instinct picks up the Lua music room crate before the room has been solved? The crate in that room has a 1/8 chance to drop a forma, but the room itself spawns very often.
I'm going to all throw in Zephyr as a great choice for a frame to farm here. Her 2 can be used to break containers and benefits from range, her 1 can be used to move fast, and her 4 is an easy subsume target. If you don't have the parallax, this makes her a really good choice for blowing up all the loot containers in a room and moving on while looking for the goods.
I think one thing that's worth noting about farming Forma this way versus popping relics for them; The relics only give you 1 forma every 23 hours (not counting with selling the loot for plat and buying the forma pack for plat from the market). This is due to the blueprint construction limitation.
Zephyr. Airburst has a vacuum effect upn breaking crates.
That's a nice strategy. A long time ago I was using limbo with max range to cast bubble and destroy all crates around and look for loot with hunter instinct. I found couple aytan sculptures this way even though I was looking for different resources
I forgot golden instinct existed but I do randomly pop Parallax air supports, I'm at a point where I have more ayatan sculptures than I can fill
If you are poor or new, you can go for cheap solution and invest in loot detection aura (this aura can show sculptures as crate icon) , and expand it with thieft wit, animal instinct and this one mod with increase aura strenght, and then go on any mission you want to, for example grind warframes for hermits for faster level up, in meantime running around with looting aura and carrier in your limbo warframe (i suggest to put as much ability range, as you are capable of) and just cast your cataclysm ability in rooms, when crates are open they will dissapear from radar, so if you see crate icon after casting ability, its high chance that its sculpture.
by the way, aura can show other stuff with normally dont show on radar
other parts for this you can configure or find out yourself, this above is just example.
This had to be nerfed recently. It's been my go to for years but I recently put about 10 hours in Hepit (over a few days) and only got 1 forma.

Underrated frame for speed is Hydroid with tidal surge you can activate it back to back and jump out of it carrying the momentum of the surge amd immediately surge again. But naturally youd need a ton of efficiency to make full use of this otherwise youll be hunting orbs a lot lol.
1:25 I’ve seen then quite a few times over the last month but I didn’t know what that symbol meant so I kinda just ignored it as I couldn’t interact with it I thought it was something I haven’t done a mission for yet so I couldn’t get it.
I am using Xaku so he makes finding stuff like sculptures and the like much easier.

Haven't scrolled through all the comments yet (and also didn't hear this place said in the listing of different rare crates at the beginning of the video) but I saw only one other mention that the Zariman has a rare crate too!!! It's called "Molted Cask" and has a coiled, spring-like design.
So there's actually 4 "factions" that have rare crates in the game that I'm aware of. Grineer, Corpus, Orokin, and Zariman. Looking at my Codex now, it seems that each faction has AT LEAST 2 rare crates.
Grineer: 3. (Rare Grineer Storage Container, Reinforced Grineer Storage Container, & Forgotten Grineer Storage Container (Earth-based as it's covered in moss/grass)
Corpus: 2. (Rare Corpus Storage Container, & Reinforced Corpus Storage Container. Maybe I'm missing one?)
Orokin: 3? (Rare Orokin Storage Container and two "undiscovered" entries that, when looked at closely, the silhouettes seem to have a "handle" that resembles Orokin design and one looks like it matches what shows in the first second of this video.)
Zariman: 3? (Molted Cask, and one "undiscovered" entry that has a similar shape to the Cask next to it, but I'm unsure. I could be assuming. I also assume there's a 3rd that is yet to have a Codex entry or just won't appear until I scan it since almost everybody else has 3.)
Man I wish I had the sanity plus gear to do this, worst thing is it's only a 30 min booster, the booster is probably used by the time you get another booster.
My brain is so tired that you sound like a really nice Ballas. Also you can do this on Oestrus Eris the infested salvage mission cause the tileset is so tiny. Sadly you won't get forma, only fieldron. But you will get lots of sculps.
I think the hardest part in this set up is having friends who would do this

I came up with this idea like half a year ago and started looking for orokin rare containers and the rare ones on earth for scans. Personally i used titania. In like 2 hours i managed to get all the codex scans i needed took like 40 runs or 50 runs in capture missions. On zariman on the other hand is different story not only that zariman missions have also rate containers but orokin eye interfere with pinions so its much harder to find the rate crates
the problem with titania is that building her for range is a huge sacrifice

Rather than specifically hunting rare containers, I run Hepit a lot to collect relics anyway, and using golden instinct on every map is just a nice bonus.
If you do this on Lua you can get the octavia room that has a crate the has a 15% drop chance for forma after you do the Simon says puzzle

The number of rare crates I've seen is skewed because when raids where around they had an obesely high chance to spawn one
one year later, this is still great and useable
Have you considered running a longer mission and having the four players find out whether they have a rare cache or a sculpture before inviting everyone else? That would mean no endo, but you would probably be finding rare caches at a much higher rate because all four players spend more time looking.
I'm not sure I understand your suggestion. All four players load missions independently and scan the whole mission with their abilities right from spawn. The endo comes from the sculptures found in the process. What's the difference you're actually suggesting?
@@TheKengineer The process of investigating a Golden Instinct ping takes several minutes. If you don't care about endo, then you would rather have the other 3 players looking for more pings during that delay.
The problem is that in capture missions, the objective is considered complete (preventing other players from joining) basically as soon as the player leaves the spawn, so they need to stay still until everyone has joined.
What if instead everyone selected some other mission that allowed them to explore before inviting their friends. That way they could determine whether it is a rare cache before having everyone else drop what they are doing.
I suspect an exterminate should allow the other players to join even after a few of the enemies have died, but perhaps there is a still better option.

It also works to remove the lockout applied by Simaris in Elite Sanctuary Onslaught, if you somehow cast enough to cause it.
When doing daily missions with randoms. I found it's best to use base 100 range and constantly use Golden Instinct every few rooms until something is detected. There's no slowdown or cooldown when it says the "area is barren". From what I've noticed, Orokin Eye has a slight lower range than Golden Instinct. Using Orokin Eye, when Golden Instinct finds something, is highly likely to show the rare item location without having to constantly wait for cooldowns. Another good thing about this strategy is that it doesn't hold players back from extracting.
If players are looking for Forma. I'd also recommend Lua. The music room, that requires copying the floor plates, spawns a rare create with a chance of a Forma. I think there been a time I got 2 Forma from 1 mission. The music puzzle rare create and the natural rare create. I have had 2 missions in a row getting a Forma from music room. It still requires luck for music room to spawn also. Another good thing is, the puzzle is always uses the same order of floor plates to press.

I'd argue a large loot radar is more(if not most) important to the hunt...I used to find a good amount of these rare crates just making sure there was no visible loot containers left in sight anywhere I went. long before the helminth was even a thing...ofc I'm not the person to do things quickly, but I've always subscribe to the idea that doing something completely but taking a long time is equal to doing the bare minimum repeatedly.
I used a max range Xaku & golden instinct to find the Kuria & I cant remember finding a single rare crate in all of the run.
I think the Orokin music puzzle is a better way to farm rare caches for forma
If you're doing this with more than two people it's better to have two builds ready each, one build with max range for checking the map and one build with slightly less than 150 golden instinct range for when joining someone else's map at witch point you run through the map towards the exit constantly spamming instinct until you get a cast at witch point you use orokin eye. Slightly less than 150m isn't enough to cover the map but it's enough to cover all rooms almost all the time when running from start to extraction.

I find the rare crates with built forma on lua while farming drift mods. I took your advice on golden instinct, but put over thermal sunder on my normal gauss since his mach rush can break boxes through walls.
Oh thats why i got most of the landing parts.. I found alot of them but most people dont break chests like i do. Instead they just run ahead leaving everything behind & missing half the game, Even those that actually can't even do better than others. Tend to just run run & run, Its like a world of Forest Gumps.. I never understood it, outside of speed farming something, But in warframe thats all every one does, the people who dc because they can't wait .0005 seconds longer...
