Until Arc 6 landed, I would have dismissed this theory right off the bad since Return by Death (up to that point) seemed to have given Subaru immunity to memory tampering magic.
@@Sideyehusky Do things at the tea party affect the real world aside from the fact that Subaru changes his actions based on what he experienced there? Maybe the answer will be "yes" depending of Echidna gets revived, but at the moment it is halfway between a dream of Subaru and halfway real. I mean I know it's real but at the same time it sort of isn't... it's hard to explain but there is a reason I didn't count that. I might be proven wrong later but as of now there was a reason to not be sure if it was real.
Also in that one dream trial where subaru meets enchidna in the class room and he says she looks amazin in that outfit and she laughs saying something like she got it from his memories so if shes able to read his mind and knows what kind of girls he likes possibly satella can to . If its not emilia might be her sister or mom could possibly be related to daphe as she has silver hair and suspiciously her eye color is bandaged like they wanted to hide something just like sirus although we can see her eye color but everything elee would probably give it away. Grandmother daphe and aunty sirus
If it was only 1 loop and it happened before the story we see, then wouldn't that mean he survived for quite a while for him to build a connection with Satella and she go through the effort to wipe his memory and give him his power? this and the other theories imply that anyone even knowing about Satella's influence in the world would doom it entirely...maybe because Pandora can't change things she is unaware of?
Something that always made me wonder is when exactly did Subaru come to this fantasy-like world? Because if he was brought there, then surely there is a way for him to go if he so wished to. But the more I think about it, I don't believe he can because he may have been there a lot longer than he knows. Or I could be completely wrong.
I've always had a loose theory that in the first loop Subaru actually did meet Satella instead of Emilia and there's some lore behind that. However I doubt this is the case since the only actual connections to that are Emilia calling herself Satella and before both die at the end of the first loop Subaru says that he'll save her just like he says to Satella both times he actually meets her.
If its her it must be her in the future and an alter ego because emilia has a hair clip on left and satella has right . Regardless he must know her from some timeline or else she wouldn't keep saying I love you as she seems coherent and not insane , the tea party version of her at least ,and the N on subaru jacket can also form an F,( drop and extend the \ part and you got a sideways F,just like how the tree was dropped with flufel name on it to kill the whale which he probably planted in the future) if you reconstruct the middle part which is why it's design is also different from the rest of the letter N.for flugel and the tree with the whole flugel is here killing the white whale, ..i thought it be to obvious dor it to be Emilia and subaru in future but then again so many times have future scenes become intutive to my subconcious. Also there's a scene early on when Subaru says he loves Emilia then she doesn't say it back but he says don't rush I'll get the answer from you some day or something along the lines of that .. then for satella catch phrase to be I love you just makes it too obvious but maybe most people are too busy with there lives to even remember things like that
I assumed he had a contract with her stemming from ghe witches party when they were all there . I heard in the LN that the person must accept satella before they can see her face which is why when subaru denied enchidna during the party because he said she was lying on satella the. She pops up and he gives her his hand saying he was going to save her as if they had a 🤝. After that interaction you finally see her face for the first time
Subaru couldn’t see her face because he didn’t want to. He mentally blocked it but Satella never covered her face. He could see it at the end because he partially accepted her but they didn’t make any contract or whatsoever in that interaction.
