I just saw this and I just want to make sure it’s not my alternator I have the same codes too scanned multiple times and car has some start up issues and lights inside go dim at startup. No engine light nor low battery on the screen. I got a f32 435i
Nice find mate , easily misdiagnosed without checking the basics with modern cars … I had a bad call few years back where the electronic power steering was going wonky intermittently, changed the steering column/motor/module and ended up being the battery 🤦♂️, car started fine every single time no signs of having a bad battery etc … If the otc still doing the job I wouldn’t bother buying another scan tool until you need it mate but I would highly recommend the Autel for European vehicles 🍻👍 take care mate
It's crazy mate how this was the only issues, and circuit codes instead of low voltage or low supply codes... It would be really easy to misdiagnose parts with how these codes appeared on the OTC scanner. I was sooo close to ordering a bunch of parts... lol
135608 is for "Valvetronic: No movement identified" I would check the acturator and see if you can manually turn it, it's something like a 4mm allen key it it's stuck it could be due to poor oil or it just quit on ya. If you have a scanner you can do a relearn and set the stops this would also tell you if it's moving, you can hear ir clear as day when it's doing the stop limits relearn.
Great to see you Johnny! Hope you’re all keeping well? What is it with BMW’s and batteries? Mine goes bat shit crazy when the battery goes low. I just get a new one. They’re too sensitive 😂
LMFAO - Jim mate you are too funny.... I did notice a few months back that he had damaged the rear door of his truck, it was ripped open like a can be beans. :)
Here's the service plan. Work through all stored faults of the partner control unit according to the test plan. Especially faults that affect the vicinity of the partner control unit (e.g. connected sensor system). These types of faults are consequential faults. If there are no further test modules in the test plan then no further repair measures are required.
Well mate...it lists it as a consequential fault so it really depends on if it's a hard fault or not...I've seen some strange stuff on BMWs where a pot hole will flag a code and it never comes back... I guess I would ask you is it a hard fault? If you clear it does it come right back ? If so I'd do some more research on it...clusters have a habit of breaking solder joints, that's where my mind went but that means nothing without testing and knowing if it's a persistent code... also consequential fault leans me to thinking something else may be causing the code...it's really hard to guess on TH-cam what could be happening you really need a proper diagnosis to be sure....cheers - Johnny

Just test it with a meter while it's running, you should see > 14v while the car is running. You could also load test the battery to be 100% sure.
7:53 this video saved me replacing the valve.
Great video my friend you saved me a lot of time , much appreciated !!

Tanks you very much!
No problem..hope it helped you out.
Hi Mate, I’ve got the same code 135B11 on my mini b48 engine, also getting a code 135608, any chances you’ve come across similar?

Great job man, thank you so much :)
thank you
Hope it helps you out.

They are quite needy....lol
Thanks for the info.
Very smart. Great video.
Good to see you back Johnny... Did your neighbor ever get that boat parked yet ? 😂...

@@JohnnysSpeedShop Far out...
That would of made a cool video...
Maybe next time... Later...
Good one Johnny
Cheers Dave
Hi there I have a code showing up on my F30 it’s E12C1D do you know what this is and how to fix it and is it something serious?
Looks like some sort of instrument panel code....Invalid signal (run-on, terminal 30, fault-controlled, 0x3AC), transmitter JBE/FEM/BDC
Supply voltage 11 to 16 volts. Check the voltage... the threshold is much tighter for this code 11 to 16 volts...

@@JohnnysSpeedShophey Johnny thanks for getting back to me! Do you reckon it is a code I should be worried about or can I just leave it/reset it?..

Do you know 138A11 whats mean?
Exhaust flap, activation: implausible adjustment time
See if is stuck or needs cleaned If I remember it's in the right/ passenger side rear
@@JohnnysSpeedShop Thanks a lot for the reply! I read an error saying that this is a valve. but I still can't figure out what kind of valve is this?
It's inside your exhaust... what car is it? They are normally on the right side but depends on model.
@@JohnnysSpeedShop The car is an F30 328 2011 sedan. does this valve affect the operation of the engine? Is it in the silencer?
Had the same problem with one i was working on and the battery terminal was lose
Really.... I know they are sensitive but that's nuts...
100!!
