The manager looked at my app and said your hired, the uniforms are out back and the dispatcher just said you’ve got a call. On that call I learned how to operate the gurney, one that you kneeled on either side and lift into the rig. There were two critically burned patients. We worked 96 and 72 hour shifts ( no shit). Was eighteen and loved it. Had never heard of an emt, Red Cross training only. Was a paramedic four years later 🚑💨

@@davidweston6653 We actually have one of the old styles still in our ambulance bay. I'm glad we don't have to use them anymore lol.
