Do you think you could have gotten by with 4 posts instead of 6? Planning something similar and considering 4 posts with knee braces to help with the span.
Well, it wouldn’t hold I dont think with the 8x8 at that span. I think you’d be okay with 8x14 or something bigger
What if I did 8x8 post 4x8 beam and 2x6 rafters? To reduce weight because I don't want the middle post @@mateostabio

how wide is it between the outside posts?
From post to post it is 13’ x 16’
And the overhang roof is 16’ x 20’
