Even if I'm used to seeing Jon randomly crop up in movies, his role in Sharp Stick was the most hilariously unexpected and out of the box character I've seen him play. He has a very unique and recognizable quality as an actor but his range is still remarkable.
If you have not read about " moral Injury". I recommend it. As a prior serviceman, 5 tours between 2003 and 2010, then went to nursing school, worked in the ER, the to hospice and suffer from PTSD, TBI, addiction and chronic injuries from war -both inside and out.... this hit the nail on the head with a 500 ton hammer. I just hope this helps someone else realize that there is help out there for the hidden wound.

I'm a fireman and I have ptsd from some bad death cases and a child murder. It took me out. I never wanted to die but I was just low. Crying hypersensitive always aware of my surroundings. It was exhausting. I had to go get help for a few weeks and it changed my life.
There is a human side to actors and artisans. Real ones is a great show. Its a people show, and a good reminder people are still people no matter how successful or unknown.
I love it. I never see this side of these people just the click bait comments and you don't like them for whatever reason. She seems like a cool person

Agreed, I disagree with her strongly on many things. But it's always good to hear them do an honest interview.

I think that's why Bernthal is a bona fide G. He's a humble dude who could've easily fallen under the spell of Hollywood hype/hubris, but he's *thankfully* picky about what roles he takes and adds a lot of nuance to would-be stock characters. IRL seems like he's hella down to earth and sincere which is why his guests - many not looking for media attention - actually open up and peel back the curtain on their disposition [he's not trying to f#%k them over]. Basically, he's a badass MF version of Oprah. 10/10

Yesterday I watched Jordan Peterson being eviscerated for crying in an interview with Piers Morgan, and I couldn't understand it as he had offered me some very helpful insights into psychology and personal growth, no matter the things I disagree with him upon. Then I see this on TH-cam, and I feel negatively towards her but I realise it was from other people's opinions that I had absorbed. I watched this and completely changed my opinion of her. Reddit, Facebook, Twitter and TH-cam comments are garbage. Come at something or someone with a blank slate and an open mind.

First jail scene fighting and not just kickin ass but getting his ass kicked sells it jon. Is our guy, emotion, heart, toughness, love.. he displays it well. Punisher is a bad dude but it stems from hurt and love. Hard character to play. He displays it all perfectly

@@seandawson5899 I don't follow her much, and I know she has some aspects of her public presence that people don't like, but I've seen her in a couple of roles, and I can't deny that she's a pretty f#cking talented actor/artist. I've met dudes who complain about the fact that they think she's hideous yet they've somehow seen her naked and were disgusted that someone who looks like that would not only get publicly nude, but also be fairly shameless about it. Those people are empty vapid vessels, I don't think Jon would support those types of fans.
Dudes that come watch this channel expecting the punisher are going to be incredibly disappointed, because Jon isn't that at all, he's an intelligent, empathic artist who is all about creating healthy and deep relationships with interesting people.

And this is what he had to tell me in response to claims that Dunham is a sexual abuser: “In the sexual abuse field, we generally do not consider children age 7 as sexual abusers.”
