That's so sweet of you! Some women are too focused on the external trappings of femininity instead of cultivating real, inner femininity. Some of the most masculine women I've met adorned themselves with long, fake nails, hair extensions, excessive makeup as you said, high heels, bodycon dresses... it's just a cope. They're subconsciously trying to compensate for their lack of actual femininity but it never works

Yes there are some femininity content creators in wigs, makeup and nails but that is fine. Like you stated previously the focus should be the inner part of it.
As a white girl with straight hair I would just like to say that y'all's curls are some of the most gorgeous things I've laid my eyes on, it breaks my heart when I see black women with beautiful curls covering them up and changing them, although I think that woman should do what they want with their hair I really hope these women aren't changing their hair out of insecurity because their curls are just so beautiful and so flattering on them :) Nothing against these women like I said. they are beautiful either way, it's almost like seeing someone covering up their pretty freckles though

I love your videos, as I’m navigating finding my way back to Christ, I notice that my femininity was under attack for the longest. I could not move graciously, I was hostile and easily tempered. This could only go on for so long before I experienced the damaging toll of taking on this “hard” way of life. I am so excited to know that while I’m on my walk with Christ, I am really coming into who I am by His design. Thank you for your videos, you are so blessed and an inspiration for us soft girls ❤️

I have 4 brothers and 3 sisters. All my sister's moved away when I was very young because of the age gap between us. My sister's were 1st, 2d and 6th born. They were really close. I was the 7th born. I grew up without them and around nothing but boys. My mother was neglectful and abusive in multiple ways so I never learned anything from her. This has caused me a lot of trouble and pain in my life. Because I was to much like, "one a the guys," a guy once told me... None of the guys I met were ever interested in me. They just thought I was cool to hang out with. My father was in the Marine Corp so I grew up around a lot of profanity. Because of this I use it a lot and it's just like you said. People say I'm aggressive or angry all the time when it's not true. I want to cry because I don't know how to be a woman. I've never been taught anything. I finally found a guy who was interested in me and he turned out to be manipulative and abusive. 4 years ago a guy found me. We dated and ended up living together. He's appreciated and loved me... But we've been having trouble this passed year. Maybe a little longer but idk. Last night was the last straw. We were at the gym working out together as we usually do when he said he was worried about bringing something up. I asked him what and he said he didn't want to hurt my feelings. I had to drag it out of him but he finally said... That I wasn't feminine at all and that there was to much masculine energy in the relationship... That it was making him uncomfortable and putting tension between us. I knew something was up but not that... I know it's true but it still hurts to here him say. Please I love this man! I'll do anything to keep him in my life. He says he'll never leave me but that's not enough! I just want to make him happy! I want to learn to be a proper woman so I can finally make him as happy as he makes me. It hurts me so much that my mother didn't teach me these things.😭
Another is nagging to someone/ partner Complaining be grateful for what we have , it shows simplicity even in the smallest of things arguing- arguing with someone just shows that we stoop down to their level and we ain’t low over here lol. The first point about interrupting others.. it all depends on the people you are with. Sometimes you have to speak up and interrupt to show that you deserve to be heard and respected if the others keep taking over the conversation.

Bravo Zulu! The only thing I would add is that while it is indeed OK to respond to personal opposition without being overshadowed by others; its also good to try to respond tactfully by either, no response at all or by adding positives as well as negatives after being shot with overarching/overreaching negatives. Try to use non-offensive taste and tact while offering our thoughts and opinions to others. I also realize that some people can dish it out-- but can't take it. And, perhaps at times taking it will enable us to SEE our own imperfections in a different light. Lastly, as Christians and as Godly (femine) examples, it is Never, Ever ok to use profanity. I realize that this comes naturally, given our fallen nature's, but in God's eyes it is not part of his good, perfect and acceptable will for our lives. However, it is important to be filled with the Spirit of the God to develop the true nature of God, which starts within us. This kind of adornment is spoken of in the bible as you touched on in your divinity versus Godly feminity video. Thanks So Much for sharing Jasmyn!! We do need more of this kind of content on a practical level, sharing and expressing biblical truths and the beauty of Holiness --using wisdom that comes from God, not of this world.
Just want to point out that interruption is cultural - there are certain social differences and I think it’s equally gracious to understand when someone else has a different framework for what “polite” and “engaging” conversation is and compromise
Hmm… I’d say, in return, that just because something is “cultural” doesn’t make it okay. I think it’s pretty clear that needless interruption in general is rude. Why not wait for the person to finish? It’s communicating that you think what you have to say is more important than what they have to say.

Holy wow my social skills are not as attuned as I thought they were! I’ve spent so much time around masculine women that I’ve become obnoxious and out of touch with everyone but myself. This is a wonder to reprogram some things
Some of these my husband needs to hear 😅 he interrupts, looks at his phone while I’m trying to converse, and answers back oh yeah, right, uh huh. Not engaging at all even when he thinks (says) he is. Most of the time I don’t feel heard.
I think the funniest part of the video was when her next topic was “handle conflict graciously” after the last clip was her flipping someone off 🤣🤣🤣(time was 4:50)
I love your videos and love how to touched more on character than outward appearance. I've been seeing a lot of femininity channels emphasize the importance of being rude to men and not nice since being nice or kind is not taken seriously. I sort of dislike that kind of advice, especially being a Christian, that sort of character doesn't sit right with me. What do you think about that idea?
Right now it feels femininity is under attack. Ironically as more and more people are self proclaimed feminists they simultaneously seem to attribute feminine acts with weakness. Over sharing, cussing, baring it all are what’s in now and I honestly find it really exhausting. I think about my grandmother. She was feminine, well spoken, dressed elegantly, a mother, but could hold her own in a debate and was well respected at her job at the attorney generals. All without needing to be loud or abrasive
then don't feel bad about it :) doing it out of adhd isn't your fault or necessarily your lack of self-control.. but if you realize your interrupting someone in a moment of them speaking, you could still apologize and if your comfortable enough to open up to them, you could explain why sometimes you interrupt people without being able to control it :)
Being a lady is such a lost art. Its funny how it has become counter-cultural to embrace ladylikeness. I'm not great at all of these, there are definitely things i could work on.

I love your videos and love how to touched more on character than outward appearance. I've been seeing a lot of femininity channels emphasize the importance of being rude to men and not nice since being nice or kind is not taken seriously. I sort of dislike that kind of advice, especially being a Christian, that sort of character doesn't sit right with me. What do you think about that idea?

Right now it feels femininity is under attack. Ironically as more and more people are self proclaimed feminists they simultaneously seem to attribute feminine acts with weakness.
Over sharing, cussing, baring it all are what’s in now and I honestly find it really exhausting. I think about my grandmother. She was feminine, well spoken, dressed elegantly, a mother, but could hold her own in a debate and was well respected at her job at the attorney generals. All without needing to be loud or abrasive
What if adhd when it comes to being hyperactive, leads to interrupting others, so you don’t forget, what you’re about to say.
then don't feel bad about it :) doing it out of adhd isn't your fault or necessarily your lack of self-control.. but if you realize your interrupting someone in a moment of them speaking, you could still apologize and if your comfortable enough to open up to them, you could explain why sometimes you interrupt people without being able to control it :)
