As a ex mechanic and now beef farmer, this made me chuckle/smile..We moved 2 36ft caravans onto our land while we built our 5 bed house...Brought back some laughable moments..Great video. 💯🇬🇧💯🇬🇧

Oh my gosh.. riveting or what?
You certainly have patience to do that with the caravan. I was on the edge of my seat throughout

Watched this vid Rob with great interest, as we will have to do this at a future point 😳. All good plans and all that with the movers 😬 Loving your comment ‘google earth and CAD drawing 👏👏 Must say that you’ve got some huge gonads moving that on your Jack 👍 Always good to make time for T 😊 Nice truck BTW🤙🏻 That skate is a great idea 👏👏 I reckon you were a loadmaster for shipping in a former life!! Well done Sir … and all complete with no damage 👍 As you said, what a view 😎 PS i bet that you’re a master of the rubic cube 😂👍👍 Keep up the great work👏👏

Cracking job! Legendary patience moving that! I’d have dragged the thing right through the field at twenty miles an hour and wrecked something. If you remember old series one and two land rovers they all had a tow ball or two each end of the front bumper. That was for moving trailers etc the wrong direction of travel it’s easier to push looking where your going.

That sounds much easier having a tow bar at both ends of the vehicle! I considered pushing it with the bumper but changes my mind

When you were saying caravan the last few videos I was thinking a camper van not what we call a mobile home in the US. When I buy some land in the next year or 2, I do not know if I want to buy a caravan as I build my more permanent home or build a small 10 x 10 house and just expand on it over the years.

I would say building a small 10x10 house would be better at least then if your situation changes and you spend longer than you anticipated in it you would be a bit more comfortable than if you were in a caravan

I have a few quid not enough to get 60 acres like, what is it like moving off grid in scotland and how easy was it to get per-mission (if you have) to put the chalet there? Etc, cheers.

We already had planning on the plot so we havend dealt with anything more than pre planning advice but we are changing the house plan so will share the planning permission journey once we have done it.
