      @@spmoran4703 Beauchamb is actually a name from English history even though it is a French word. Richard Beauchamp Earl of Warwick was prominent in English history. I suspect that after 1066 when the Normans won the battle of Hastings the Norman invaders moved in with their French names. Beauchamp means "beautiful field." Some in my family have researched it and claim our name was Fairfield but at some point was change to Beauchamp maybe to get on the good side of the invading Normans. My Ancestry DNA screen found a strong connection to the UK, Ireland, and western Europe. My maternal ancestors were French. My mother maiden name was Delaneuville.

This brings me back to my schoolboy days, it is great to know that brilliant hard rocking great sounding wild music is still been recorded and played live. I’m going to have to get my old dancing shoes out and polished up and get ready go to all this bands gigs when they next come back to my little country, i will follow this band from town to town all over the country until all my money is spent.

    After seeing that freckled face showing up in my feed off and on for a couple of years I finally listened. Nice tune. I'm from Cape Breton, Canada, one of the most Scottish places outside of Scotland, and this kind of reminds me of home. Yeah I know the track is Irish/American, but very much like the music from Mabou. Which is a tiny village that has birthed some major talent. Buddy McMaster is/was a great fiddler from the Boomer Generation, who taught both Natalie McMaster, and her cousin Ashley McIsaac (both being related to him). The Rankin Family is also from the area, and someone from them owns a pub in Mabou called "The Red Door". Some world class talent from a tiny village in rural Nova Scotia (New Scotland for those who's Latin is rusty, and who's isn't?).

      @geroutathat 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @R M It's actually bell beaker ancestry. The Welsh and Irish are genetic cousins but do not come from the Italo/Celtic tribe. That was a culture they interacted with, not an ancestry. The Irish/Scottish/Picts are genetic brothers. The Welsh are their genetic cousin. This goes back 4000-5000 years ago, before the celtic tribe. At some point, the Irish and the Welsh were the same family, probably in the pontic steppe of russia, riding horses through long grass, starting metal work together, and setting off on a voyage as the ice melted... They hugged and parted way, the welsh in wales and Irish/picts/scots where they are now. The original English are genetic brothers of the welsh, however, they have largely been replaced by germanic angle, saxon tribes, romans, danes etc. There might still be some english in cornwall or the likes but they are a dying breed. Thats why the English more than anyone else on the islands want to rule/conquer/colonize, because they are european tribes that took England that way and have it in their blood to hold onto it that way. It's a shame they have so much power in the UK, as I believe the native English/Welsh/Scotts etc end up paying the price more than they do.

    Great to hear something new from you guys and good to see you again, but it makes me crave for live shows even more... I wanna come home where I belong, back into a crowd of people who dance and sing along to their favourite band's/artist's music 🎶
