Great video. I have been to Douz in 2004 and the livestock market there is quite fascinating. Also to Ksar Ghilane in 2004 but your video shows that it is now much more commercialised than when I was there. There I never saw tour buses and crowds of tourists were absent even though it was in December. The lake there is a hot water spring. But you only get a taste of the Sahara in Tunisia and Morocco. For full immersion in the desert, go to Chad or Algeria - I have been to both. Ksar Ghilane is on the fringe of the desert, not in the middle of the desert!
How beautiful are the oases and deserts in Tunisia, and they are not only in Douz and Tozeur, but there is a lot of diversity in the sights of southwestern Tunisia, from Tozeur to Gafsa to Djerba to Matmata... They are all worth a visit, and I will continue to visit every inch of my great country. .. Thank you for photographing this trip, which I consider to be the most beautiful trip of all your trips. Come back to us and welcome to every person. I personally have become accustomed to hosting tourists for free in my home, and this is my religious duty first and foremost, and a special pleasure in knowing the peoples of the earth.😍
@@SarahandMarekThat's a big compliment 😅because if you accepted my invitation and visited me you would know that I am simple. Well, I should thank you anyway and I accept the compliment.😊 I am ready to give you my private phone number if you want and welcome،🤝
Thirty years ago when I visited Tombouktu, it was possible to cross the Sahara North to South in many places. Even then, it was an adventurous trip, but possible. Today, you can only do that in Morocco and Egypt. The entire rest of the Sahara is a war zone. It's very sad.
It's wonderful, but not unique. I just got back from Erg Chebbi in Morocco and this was similar. I'd say they spent longer in the Sahara and we spent time among the Berbers of the Draa and Dades valley. It was an expensive trip, but memories for a lifetime.
that 's so nice to see u there .but there re so mush places u didn't go like the movie star wars place and there are old medinas build there .wish to come back to tunisia with better experience.love u
Wow I loved this video! The desert looks amazing in Tunisia. I have visited the desert in Morocco 3 times and was blown away by the colour of the sand. We slept out in tents there also. How disappointing with the crowds at the Oasis, but great you got to spend the night and take a morning dip alone. This is now on my bucket list. Thanks guys, well done.
I thought to save the sand from my shoes. Erg Chebbi has a rose color not found in the rest of Morocco. We could see an almost black area in Algeria in the distance. I'm sure the natives are very in tune to color changes as a means of telling where they are.
In Jerba there is currently an interesting ecotourism event called "salon nomade du tourisme durable". If you manage to go, you will meet a bunch of remarkable tunisian youtubers and globetrotters, I have in mind a couple of globetrotters that reminds me so much of you, they are "mak&cha" :)
Im sure that you enjoyed your experience . Ksar Ghilan is a great place specially in february , i was there two days ago with friends making music and fun Wish you come to Matmata its 80km far away from Ksar Ghilan
Hey great video if you could tell? Where did buy your ticket for the sahara trip en staying there overnight because if i look for a sahara trip with staying overnight it costs 200 - 350 euro's thx a lot Love from belgium Ps am going this summer
Hi Dylan! That's so exciting 😄 The official website for the guy went went with is (agencealyssa.com). We did get a special deal because our local friend gave us the connection to him. We also used our friends tent to sleep in the desert and our guide basically just made sure we were safe. We just released a comprehensive guide for backpacking in Tunisia, it would help you a lot with your planning and figuring out how to get around in Tunisia when you get there, here is the link (payhip.com/b/gMYs6). Hope you have an amazing trip 😄
Is a trip to the Sahara Desert on your bucket list? 🤩
Welcome to the desert of Algeria

That makes us so happy! Thanks for watching 😊
There is a very known Tunisian saying that says: "In Tunisia, between a cafe and a cafe, there's a cafe"
We can confirm that saying from personal experience 😂❤️
The Sahara tour sounds great! Deserts are great. Pure nature.. This really seems like a unique experience.
Hi Ferry! This was a unique experience for sure! We couldn't believe where we were 🤩 Is visiting the Sahara desert on your bucket list?

Absolute! This is a must.. I will definitely put it on my travel itinerary. 😎

Tunisia not Tanzania
Tunisia desert is more inspiring. Trust me on that

0:04 that's a big mistake there, you may find a surprise inside your shoes😁 you need to check before haha
We kept our shoes in the tent with us overnight to avoid a surprise 🤣😅
@@SarahandMarek not enough, i can tell you from experience 🙃
@@SarahandMarek My guide in Morocco had been bitten by scorpions 7 times. That's from a lifetime in the desert, growing up as a bedoin.
I hope that you enjoyed your time in Tunisia 💙 Keep it up 💙
We really enjoyed exploring your beautiful country 😄🇹🇳

Wow! How exciting! Thanks for showing me what the desert is like. What a great experience ❤❤❤ ps....Happy Christmas! 😂 its March now for me!! X
Enjoy guys❤
Thank you! 🤗🇹🇳
Great video. The Sahara is on my bucket list but all that noise did seem like it would annoy me. Really enjoying the series though.
The Sahara is definitely worth visiting! I would recommend going on an organised tour where you camp in the desert 🤩
Honest the noise depends on where and when you go, avoid going on time for the douz sahara festival if you truly hate the noice
Nice picture of Tunisia... 🤗🇹🇳🌶️🔥💞
