    Crazy to me how people can say a tv like this is lower quality and sub par. I'm rocking a Vizio that's at least 8 years old and it seems just fine to me. I think I'll be completely satisfied with my "entry level TV" at a price this isn't outrageous. Especially considering the top of the line tv today will be outdated and sub par in a couple years.

      hey brother finally some one who thinks big screen tv s now days are great never mind if there £500 or £5000. ive just been to my local shop to look at a new tv spoke to a guy about a 75 inch samsung crystal, the guy basically told me its crap and i should be spending up to 2000 grand on a good tv. just looked at him and i think he knew i thought he was a proper PRICK just his attitude. spoke to a different guy 2, mins later he said like you and i think most t.vs from 2010 on wards are decent... and i for one tim am happy with my so called entry level t.v plus at 750 4k 75 inch its a complete set up ill have with my ps5. so tim hears to our so called budget t.vs may they reign proudly on our walls or stands for the next 10 or so years, respect Mr Timothy peace....

    just upgraded to one of these from a 2010 46" Sharp TV that still had a nice picture and worked fine... I told the store clerk about replacing my 46" screen TV and his jaw dropped like he didnt know such a small TV even existed haha... for anybody born between 1930 and 1970...these entry level smart TVs are MINDBLOWING !!! nothing budget about these pictures compared to what we had growing up.

    I have a 50” in my room. It looks *LOVELY* for my PS5 games ambient and overall aesthetic. The 3 HDMI ports are an appreciation bonus. The in-built speakers actually sound very good for built-ins with lots of settings for both audio & visuals. The last few TVs and monitors I’ve purchased have been Samsung so overall good stuff and the free online channels are a plus! 😃 I have Apple products and although Samsung is a competitor, it still supports Airplay and Apple TV + so that’s cool of them. 👍

    I am very happy with this TV - I do have a question. I use my blu-ray player as a CD player. It seems that whenever I put the blu-ray player on it automatically puts the TV on. Anyway for this not to happen. I do not need the TV on when playing CDs. I had to do some work to get the optimum brightness and compared to my old 55" vizio this is dynamite. Audio like you said is ok. I have a decent surround system and am very happen for blu-ray audio and for vids on Vudu, the sound is great coming from the optical. Thanks so much for the review.

    • @abtelectronics
      @abtelectronics  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @NA1106 70 inches is a tricky size because your options are very limited. If you need that size specifically, the Samsung Q60B would be our pick: bit.ly/3AtrbdF If you can accommodate a 75 inch model you may want to take a look at the Sony X80K series: bit.ly/3QRS02g It's a bit more of an investment, but you get a larger and better picture as well as better motion handling.

    • @abtelectronics
      @abtelectronics  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Ahmed Elkafrawy. Yes, light bleeding is very typical of edge lit LED TVs. You'll likely see it on each one you open. It's one of the drawbacks of that technology. However they are typically lower in cost than a full array LED TV and have a thinner profile that can look better if you're hanging it on the wall. The only way to avoid any kind of light bleeding and light blooming would be to go with an OLED. • @d0hzer453
    @d0hzer453 2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    My little review:
    Brightness could be higher. Maxed out it's still a little on the dim side.
    Speakers are pretty bad. They are are quite tinny. Very little bass. Think about how your phone sounds, but louder. Also, if you want to use the low latency "gaming mode" for the picture settings, it also locks the audio into gaming mode as well. So with gaming mode enabled (which you will definitely want for games or using a mouse), you can't adjust the audio at all. Good news is you can raise the TV up a little by adjusting the legs, to fit a sound bar underneath. You'll probably want one, or headphones, if audio is important to you.
    There is no support for 1440p. You're stuck between 1080p and 4k. Those 2 resolutions work fine, but in between is a mess. If you're using an Xbox Series S (maxes at 1440p), avoid this TV, unless you're ok being stuck in 1080p. Same goes for a PC. If your PC can handle 4k, then no problem. But if not, you're down to 1080p.
    The remote is subpar. I mean I guess it's alright if you're really minimalistic, but using it and navigating menus is not very good. Clunky.
    Those are the negatives.
    On the positive side, the image quality is quite good. The TV is super thin. I mean it, it's really damn thin. Would look great mounted on a wall. Bezels are really thin as well. The price is decent.
    It's my first Samsung TV, I thought I would be blown away given their reputation for screens, but I'm really not. It's good enough, but nothing special. Feels like cost cutting at every corner.

    They don't reduce gutter out of 60 Hz sources like cable or Chromecast or native apps unless they're specifically designed for it.

    Just purchased this TV after my Samsung 1080p 55" 3D SmartTV began giving out after 11 years. It was suddenly having overheating issues and kept turning off and on constantly. This new Samsung's alleged Crystal 4K Ultra HD picture doesn't even compare to my now deceased 1080p TV which had so many picture altering settings, my 1080p looked way more like 4K than this new one! The screen looks like it's made out of plastic while my 1080p TV had a screen made from actual Gorilla Glass which enhanced the Black Levels, Contrast and Color which made video games look extremely crisp, like someone cleaned the monitor with Windex.
    God of War PC looks like garbage compared to the way the graphics looked on my 1080p. Sadly, they don't make 1080p 55" TV's anymore and Samsung really dropped the ball with the picture quality on their newer models. This new TV should of came with a quality glass monitor like my 1080p did. I've been tinkering with all of the settings on the new TV, trying to get it to look like my old TV and it's somewhat close but still doesn't compare. There is absolutely no excitement to game with this new TV because my SweetFX graphic mods don't even look the same nor as good as they did on my 1080p Samsung. 😞
