Everytime I watch your videos I'm like bloody hell we all struggle, its not me alone that has to warm his hands from time to time. Oh and when you hit your cold fingers on steel it hurts so bad that whole the neighborhood is looking. Its a bloody good show Chris!

Ahhh the water leak struggle, this is my bread and butter 😂 you have to pull straws excavate down to it and basically put a clamp on it which is called a squeeze off, that will slow the flow or completely stop it, some of them are hydraulic. Then you can cut and using electric fusion couplers you fix a new piece of pipe in place of the damaged bit and remove the squeeze off.
Unless it’s cast iron then that’s a whole different ball came 😅

Hey up Chris, great video. The days of mopeds mate, brilliant memories. I had a AR 50 with a AR 80 top end and Allspeed. We spent hours messing about with them trying to get them to go faster. Watching you fit those spot lights reminds me when we all got our first cars and put loads of spot and fog lights on. All properly fitted with scotch locks and insulation tape. We never bothered with relays, just wired them straight through the switch. Good old days, long time ago now. Cheers Chris, keep struggling.
A 1986 Yamaha DT50 was my weapon of choice mate. Lol I remember going over the Avonmouth Bridge in winter in the bike path absolutely freezing cold with my mate on the back without a helmet. I must admit, that bike always started and just kept running! I remember using ep90 gear oil for 2 stroke as it was free from work and it ran on that for bloody ages and smelt horrible.
I started myself on a 1984 B reg DT50 myself, then on another great bike a N Reg Kawasaki KMX125. Had a few more since then and now🤣👍
I can smell it now, EP smells like cats piss at its best. 👍
@@bumpkinrocks I went onto a DT125R after the 50 which I shared with my father… I turned the power valve up which made it go like hell.. poor old fart didn’t know what hit him when he rode it after a few months of not riding! Every morning I would pass my old grans house on the way to work who would always sit in the window watching the River as I passed on the back wheel wheeling! It used to frighten the poor old girl to death I remember. Lol.

PS the water main I'll guess was a strategic main (feeding a large area 8" / 12" ) and to keep people on supply until they can rezone and isolate main it's allowed to keep leaking. These days it's more important to keep people on supply than it is to fix the leak. No one really appreciates how hard it is to keep water flowing. Most mains these days are under 4 bar pressure (to reduce leakage) unless pumping mains ....but if a fitting blows off that 4 bar can do some major damage ....
Normally it is a nightmare when I say that mate 😂 that’s why it was leaking so long then, that’s interesting mate thought there would be more pressure than that but suppose it’s the volume, cheers Gary take it easy mate… have a good week 👍

Afternoon Chris my mate had AR 50 and AP 50 and ss50 the price of them now are through the roof now mate and the RG500 they are over 15.000 pounds all the old cars and bikes are mental money

i'm with you Chris,i dont mind doing anyone a favour as i believe further down the line someone will do me a good turn.Did notice that the struggle forklift had a bullet wound in its windscrteen,so it did.I was a contractor for Anglian water for years Chris and got called out to water leaks but ive not seen one like you filmed.That's some pressure main there.Great video as always.👍

The moped struggle!!. we are the same age and did the same Newark to Southwell at 25mph for 2 years and had the same problems, just waiting for it to die.. sure the guy in the bike shop use to rub his hands when he saw me walk in with a handful of bits..

Hi Chris had to pause you here. soon as I heard mt5 as that's wot our dad bough us for fields, E reg lovely bike, he rebuilt the engine not long after being a engineer. to this day it's still got clean oil in it barering in mind it's been sat in the shed 20 plus year's we had bout 7 plus years fun. recently mentioned selling it well couple years ago now. put it up had few intrests quick as that just to see if anyone would w it around 2k lol and yes.anyway the price of them now... it's all there tidy bike a bit of rust now on rims etc well I ent seen it past year or so. Red and blue MT5 it is you wouldn't believe how small it'll looks if u saw one today lol.any gonna continue you're video 👍already as I do mate.

We used to have loads of step thru mopeds as kids think it was the Honda c50 c70 . We called them dulopys or chicken chasers 🤣🤣
