It's finally time for the secret ride upgrade reveal! Our 2007 Mini Baja MB200 has been upgraded to another level! It spent most of its life in the shed collecting dust and it's time for a refresh! Now this hoss is a part of the ATV team and will drop in whenever extra fun is required.
Top speed, acceleration, and suspension were upgraded and this hoss feels unbelievable now! The torque converter is amazing, the 200cc engine feels so much more powerful & top speed has been increased to 38mph!! We set the red driven spring to the 3rd hole for more torque too. The low end grunt feels quite a bit stronger than the jack-shaft gearing and the bike flies up to 38mph in a hurry now.
Also, the new fatty balloon knobbies make the ride feel soo much more plush...wait..did I just say plush?? Yep, I sure did...you can ride for miles and miles without feeling beat up. I swapped out the fork oil with 30w oil and added 25% more to eliminate the bottoming out and it rides like butter now!
We installed both Coleman CT200U racks and the back rack has been tested to hold over 220lbs...BEEFY!! I wouldn't ride it that way though, unless you like wiping out lol. Both racks took quite a bit of fab work and part sourcing but they turned out great. This project was a super fun build and we're excited to bring it to the channel. Stay tuned for more, God bless!
