    Thank you brother! Great tip. Work like a charm. My wife’s been worried about her car. We switched out the battery and I was just troubleshooting check the fuses and it still wasn’t starting and when I watched your video I was like bingo ! Went and tried it and it work perfectly! Thanks again 🙏🏽

    One of the greatest videos ever. I wish this one would get top billing. Issue described has happened to me twice over the course of two years. Thankfully I saved this video because it happened to me again recently and I couldn't remember the procedure and needed to watch the video again. When an engine cranks but won't start, a lot of people think their issue is a bad fuel pump, a weak battery, a bad alternator, or a host of other issues when in all likelihood it's just what the guy in the video described...a simple reset. Saved a lot of time and money thanks to this one.

    This was great. You just saved me $900. Just needed to hit the accelerator while cranking.

      That’s great to hear!! It makes me happy to hear this kind of comment!! This trick works on most newer cars. When the throttle is wide open at start the computer cuts the fuel delivery.

    Wow! I'm glad I found this video. I just got done watching several other change fuel pump videos and was about to make the move. But I tried this and it worked. Thank you brother!

      Where did you buy your fuel pump?

    • @thedaddyshow01

      @@jadamoore1098 I purchased mine from a place where you take out the parts yourself and pay a MUCH lower price for the part.

    Good video.. I was able to take mine out with ease. I did have to grind down the tool as well. My car sat for 1 year 3 months with 1/4 tank of gas. Put seafoam in and filled up with premium. Some other issues but wanted to check the pump. The gas in the pump reservoir was almost black.. so I kept pouring fresh gas in and squeezing the filter until it was almost clear. I hope that cleans the filter.

    Whenever you remove the back seat click the seat belts together and you don't have to fish for the short ends of those belts.

    I am facing the same issue as you described, my Nissan Sentra 2014 model spits and sputter first time I started it in the morning and the problem is more clear after a short distance trip, I already replaced the fuel pump and cleaned injectors. I also tried your method of pressing down the accelerator to the floor and start it after that nothing worked for me. Note that once engine stalls and I started it again it starts right away with no problems. Please see a video in my account.

    Hello, would you happen to have a link to the pump that you replaced?

    • @thedaddyshow01
      @thedaddyshow01  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I do not. The pump I used was from a local pick-and-pull where I removed the fuel pump myself. I don’t know if they have a website or not for the purchase of parts. Some companies do and some don’t. You may do a Google search for something in your area and then check out their site or give them a call.

      I do not know the exact name, but it should be something with “quick connect” in the name.

      @@thedaddyshow01 hi I loked in my car gas pump on top and the black clip is their and clips on is their anything more that holds that black clip on top or its just the black clip

    • @thedaddyshow01
      @thedaddyshow01  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just the black piece. It has an internal snap ring built in and thats what holds it on. If you’ve pushed it on well by hand that should be good. You may leave the seat cushion off when you try to start the car and check for leaks. If you are car savvy and want to make sure the engine doesn’t start you could unplug the injectors to ensure they don’t shoot fuel into the cylinders. I also don’t know if the pump will run when you press the start button twice without pressing the brake. The first press turns it to “Auxiliary “ and the radio comes on. The second press will turn on the computer and instruments bit won’t start the car if your foot is not on the brake. That might run the pump. You’ll have to have listen close as the Nissan pumps are very quiet.
