@GamebroTV There are some quirky differences from what I've noticed, but nothing major that I imagine would matter to most people. Well, I have to say, the Switch version is a great remaster, very faithful to the original, let there be no doubt of its great quality, BUT, I definitely prefer the sound of the SNES version by far. The new soundtrack is very well adapted, with real instrumentation, and it´s OK, but c´mon! listen that POWERFUL bass and synth, so characteristic and retro of the 80's and 90's era with the SNES sound chip version! 16-bit sound at its best! Especially the intro and the character selection screen, they sound much louder and badass, perfect for the game 1:24 to 2:22. The remaster loses a lot of steam on the soundtrack, but for everything else, it's a great adaptation. This is the reason why I still love the SNES, because it´s still capable of giving a good fight even to a new generation console such as the Switch. Don´t get me wrong, I am not saying that SNES is better console, that is illogical, they cannot be compared in power, graphics or performance, but the retro style always has a touch of magic and excellence that seems almost impossible to replicate even today, the true magic of the wonderful 80's and 90's! I really miss and love those old years. Sorry for my english.
You should do the comparison between the ARCADE version and the Nintendo Switch!!! by the way, I used to love the SNES version, It such a quality title on the SNES but looking at the Switch version I believe it's the most beautiful one among the other 2, In general terms this game is excellent!!!!!
A versão japonesa tem as mulheres em algumas partes, ao inves do baixinho com as garras gigantes, foi mantido na versão do Switch, podemos afirmar que eles fizeram o remake da versão japonesa.
One of the most disturbing endings in video game history. Two new characters, one is a mix between female shinobi and blade arm shinobi, and one is a boss. This game deserves more attention. Along with Toki, Ninja Warriors was revived when no one expects.
Is the original snes port included in the switch cart? I really hope so because i find myself liking the look and feel of that one much more. It’s similar to what i felt when i played marvel vs capcom 2 in the 16:9 enhanced mode on ps3... so basically i always found myself going back to the 4:3 original mode that the game was designed to play in. I find that these retro games feel empty and less grand once you remove the 4:3 walls and give them the extra 16:9 space that they were not actually designed to be played in and makes the game feel smaller than it should be. This is Just my opinion but definitely makes a huge difference for me and many other retro gamers out there i am sure.
I figured two things..the 1st:they shld have us a copy of the old game also when we buy this..2nd:I was hoping for a level round the end where all the bots combine and make big one and fight
Am I the only one who doesn't like ghouls n ghost's graphics for the switch? Because I wish it had this kool pixel art like this game which I think it looks awesome.
It is a shame that for the PS2, Gamecube and XBOX, 2D beatem ups had little to no love. While there are features in The Ninja Saviours that are owed to current tech, I still feel like the visual style could have been pulled off back then and it would have been sensational to see.
They may have needed to zoom out the camera a bit to apply the widescreen ratio while maintaining the original game's scale. It may have also been done to be able to fit more on the screen since they added a two-player mode, not to mention there's a new playable character of gargantuan stature that may not have even fit properly on the screen had they not.
@@barryredfield And at least your manual is probably accurate. I got the physical version for the Switch, but whoever was responsible for distributing it was so lazy that they couldn't even be bothered to print different versions of the manual, so it lists the Playstation controls instead. lol
@@gurvmlk Sorry to hear about the manual, I wasn't aware of that. I haven't actually played the game in awhile, but would like to get back into to it soon as I've just wrapped up Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.
Some Jaleco games like Tuff E Nuff were butchered upon localization, so they should get this treatment from the Japanese versions and relocalized. I didn’t like that the butchered localization found its way to Nintendo Switch Online.
It takes some time to get used to the gameplay, try playing with the character that best suits your style, as each of the characters has a different gameplay.
I sold the original SNES version in exchange for this one. I don't regret doing that, but there are some little things here and there that feel a bit off by comparison when it comes to the difficulty. Such as no longer needing to race against a clock when fighting the final boss (which is arguably the hardest thing about that battle), or that enemies no longer seem to duck under your punches to throw you off when plowing through hordes of them.
@@gurvmlk Don't get me wrong; I love both games. However, I think the original is a bit more challenging in comparison of the new version. One of the best features of the new game is that now there is two players coop. I would highly recommend either game to anyone.
@@pigboykool Indeed, they are both great. I even left another comment to somebody else somewhere in this comment section stating that which version somebody prefers would ultimately come down to nitpicking. And while there are some things that make the original harder, I feel like there are also some things that make the new one harder at parts as well, so the difficulty kind of winds up being circumstantial. Unless you use Raiden against a boss. Then you pretty much just spam your way to victory. At the end of the day though, I just didn't want two of the same game taking up space on my shelf, nor presenting needless complications when deciding what to play by having two versions of the same game. So I bought the remake, tried it out, and decided I'd rather just keep that one instead. Especially since selling the SNES version, even by trading it into a game shop for store credit, pretty much payed for the new one almost in its entirety.
That's how a real remaster must be done! more animation frames, more colors, more levels, new characters and better music.

You should do the comparison between the ARCADE version and the Nintendo Switch!!! by the way, I used to love the SNES version, It such a quality title on the SNES but looking at the Switch version I believe it's the most beautiful one among the other 2, In general terms this game is excellent!!!!!
Damn, never heard of this game so I gave a listen to the snes ost. Holy fuck is it good! But obv switch version is better
these games are so fucking good
All the remake needed was online co-op and it would have been perfect!
These two versions devours the original and its ports for home consoles in gameplay and OST
Super Nintendo
Questo e'uno di quei giochi per Sf che e'invecchiato estremamente bene.
Yeah Kunoichi got a "massive upgrade" 😳😳
If possible, can you do a PS4/Switch comparison of Nickelodeon Kart Racers (2018)?
Eu espero que um dia esse remaster seja relançado para PC! Se Wild Guns foi lançado para PC, não há motivos para esse não ser.
The first one - 1987 - is still the best.
Didn't realize enemies were mixed up in the Switch version. Are the kunoichi new sprites to the remaster?
They were in the original Super Famicom version
@@kaihedgie1747 I noticed in the first level they switched them with the hunched claw men.
the smaller sprites suck but other than that looks great
Am I the only one who doesn't like ghouls n ghost's graphics for the switch? Because I wish it had this kool pixel art like this game which I think it looks awesome.
Uma pena que não saiu para o PC... Ahhhh
It is a shame that for the PS2, Gamecube and XBOX, 2D beatem ups had little to no love. While there are features in The Ninja Saviours that are owed to current tech, I still feel like the visual style could have been pulled off back then and it would have been sensational to see.
Ficou bem legal, pelo menos visualmente.
The music was way better on the classic version and it felt better to play too
Wow I didn’t know they remade this! I have to get this!!
this is super rare, but still prefer the music in snes
Why switch character and enemy sprites are so small?
They may have needed to zoom out the camera a bit to apply the widescreen ratio while maintaining the original game's scale. It may have also been done to be able to fit more on the screen since they added a two-player mode, not to mention there's a new playable character of gargantuan stature that may not have even fit properly on the screen had they not.
Anyone else disappointed this still hasn't ben released for PC? They released Wild Guns for it. Did it do so poorly they are hesitant?
I have a physical version of this game for the technically superior PS4.
I don't imagine the technical superiority of the PS4 making a difference with this particular game.
@@gurvmlk Not at all you're right, though the included manual and poster do make it appealing.
Sabem se tem para PC?
arcade ninja warriors is the best. Natsume should also remaster that
Some Jaleco games like Tuff E Nuff were butchered upon localization, so they should get this treatment from the Japanese versions and relocalized. I didn’t like that the butchered localization found its way to Nintendo Switch Online.
I'm confused... is this a Remake or a Remaster? 🤔
Remake
Un gran remake.
I still prefer the original, the new one is not so bad but it exaggerates things too much for my likings.
Am I the only one who can't even beat the first level in the remake? That game is freaking hardcore, or maybe I don't understand the gameplay.
It takes some time to get used to the gameplay, try playing with the character that best suits your style, as each of the characters has a different gameplay.
Para esto no compramos consolas nuevas. Muchos preferirán el mayor tamaño de los personajes del original
🤗✨🎮Snes version
Have both, The SNES version still plays better with more solid hit detection and better AI.
Still waiting for a pc version 😔
best snes game ever !
