- The new 2023 Ford Everest has been built for the adventurous - with capability at its core. Inside, premium levels of craftsmanship have created a quiet and refined sanctuary for up to seven, while class-leading technology and safety make every journey more memorable.
To showcase this, three grades of the new 2023 Ford Everest were presented at reveal: Sport, Titanium+ and a new flagship grade, Platinum. A range of different variants and models will be available, depending on market, to meet the needs of our customers. Full details will be provided closer to in-market launch.

Why can't Ford sell this in America? This is exactly what we want, but it's only being offered to the Aussies. Americans love vehicles that can go offroad.

@@tcoultis I wouldn't buy a Ford Bronco because too expensive and I also don't need all that capability. The Everest, however, is perfect for my needs, since I only do light offroading only a few times per year.
I was saying the same thing, it looks really good and myself wish they would sell the 2023 taurus over here but they wont.

Yeah! I'd love to see the Everest in America. But I think Ford wants the hard-core American offroad market to go exclusively to the Bronco. Maybe there's a greater profit in it.

It’s nice to see that rugged body on frame SUVs are still being made in other countries as well. Unfortunately, we have to settle for (Mostly)mall crawlers here in the US, i.e. car based, disposable front drive based(domestic to US). There are some exceptions that are rear drive bias AWD that pretty good (Durango)but not off-road. I completely understand that the Everest line is a line of vehicles and not just a trim level, as I have traveled a lot throughout the Asia-Pacific. I wish that we had the option in import the Everest line or if the Bronco line here in the US were to build an SUV, this would be it…mint!

The real full size bronco not to be mistaken with the sport bronco aka escape is better off roader than this SUV.
We were literally about to get this, and I wish I did.
It's a love it or hate design but I'll take this over the new Explorer, Edge, Chevy Blazer and so on. Imho it looks pretty good outside and inside definitely not ugly. Well done Ford👍

Sales figures for the Ford Everest have been surprisingly low over the years in each market, so maybe the new model will change this and expand on the market territory. It has potential.

It's just poor reliability. We have had Territory's, Everest and Raptors. I like them, so quiet to ride in but they always have problems and sit at the dealers a lot. We went back to LC200 and Prado. I love the look of the new Everest. We still have the Raptor as it's so nice to ride in it. Ford did so well with it. I just wish they didn't always have issues. I am so tempted to get an new Everest..... tough decision as I just don't want it sitting at the dealer all the time.
@@3800TURBO maybe it has to do with how you drive it that plays a factor on the troubles you experienced. My dad had the everest in 2015 when it was brand new and it didn't give us problems. It was used daily and has already accumulated 72000kms. But anyways I still think it is worth getting the new one as you don't see a 10-12inch infotainmemt display on most cars
This needs to come to the UK market! I love the Ranger and Raptor but have no use for the pick-up/Ute rear end. I need a ‘boot’ rear end and this Everest for rural camping is perfect. I wonder how much to export to UK 🇬🇧
Yeah. The Ranger pickup is nice, but I want an enclosed SUV vehicle.

This is a good Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk contender. I like the mix between sport luxury SUV with true 4x4 capabilities, sort of like a Civilized Ford Bronco.

With the sales of the broncos and raptors going through the roof we need a daily driver road trip boxy SUV like the everest in north America! We seriously need better 5 seater road trip/camping vehicle's for all seasons! It sucks that we're stuck with the crossovers and hatchbacks that are advertised as SUVs but don't have the upright space and ride height!

What is the Ford Everest? When did it come to market? What market is it sold in?
I am a Ford stockholder and believe in the brand’s future and success. However, when did Ford outsource their design team to Kiwis and Brits? Where is the car manufactured? I am not aware of this vehicle in the American market. Either way, this is an awesome-looking truck I’d be interested in purchasing.
Ford, this is what we want in the USA. Abs this is how we want electric cars to look as well. Don’t overthink it.

Needs a split tailgate option. The LC300 Cruiser lost this and lost buyers. The fold down split gate was the best.

The tail lights look like the ones on the Grand Cherokee Jeep. In fact the whole rear end resembles the Grand Cherokee Jeep.

Why??
Incandescent has been observed to serve better for that particular purpose... weird I know. Many car makers are doing that.
@@seanlovi8798 I have noticed it is a pattern in the Ford European base models for both front and rear indicator/turn signals. Higher spec models appear to have LED indicator/turn signals incorporated alongside their LED main light units, which are brighter and thus serve the purpose intended far better than incandescent lighting.
I see no reason why Ford would design a light unit for a medium price point, premium vehicle when automotive lighting trends and technology would dictate that more efficient lighting options are available. I’m at a loss at Ford’s decision to still use incandescent lighting when most manufacturers, even budget vehicle manufacturers are utilising LED technologies.

This is the Ford Explorer fighter to me, but it couldn't be a potential as the Sequoia for my perspective. These cannot be sold in the USA, as where I am living right now
No it’s not. The Ford Explorer is a Crossover. This Ford Everest is an SUV.
Everest in Australia has the following variants: Ambiente (entry level), Trend (mid-spec), Sport and Platinum (V6 diesel only). All variants, other than the Platinum, will have a 2L bi-turbocharged diesel 4 cylinder engine with a 10 speed automatic
Wrong. Sport will have 3.0T V6 diesel as well. It's not Platinum exclusive.

Looks like an amazing car but the presentation was just strange. Why are they talking to each other instead of the audience? Feels weird. Hopefully that’s a skill they’ll work on for the future.
This car is beautiful. However where Ford needs to 'listen to their customer base and make exponential improvements' is their after sales service division.
Much better and masculine styling than the old version and the addition of the old F150 Powerstroke diesel V6 would make it a big hit in the US with these stupid fuel prices. Ford just need the balls to bring it here.
